BURGAHS FOR DA BOYZ
CABS. ARE. HERE.
Does your local cinema allow vaping?
>>79915519
No, but I do it anyway.
Get a drink from the bar, sit in the back, vapin and drinkin like a sultan.
It allows sucking dicks so I'm sure vaping is acceptable
>vaping
real men smoke
>underperformed at BO
>no one talks about it anymore
>0 oscars
Why'd it flop so hard?
Moana was better than Zootopia by a mile. I don't know why people love the talking animals meme so much.

>movies are too white, People of Diversity can't identify with all the white protagonists
>but white people will 100% identify with all of our non-white characters

I liked both quite a bit, but you are wrong
Scenes that confused you as a child
That scene in Friends where Monica has an orgasm saying numbers. I literally had no clue what was happening.
I'm pretty sure they've cut it from most TV channels now too.

What was supposed to be number 7 anyway?
>iranians lecturing others on human rights
>half of the women there would be stoned alive for wearing those dresses
Why was this allowed?

Got the set of films for my Birthday and have been watching through one a day in chronological order - I'm currently at "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and so far I'd say Goldfinger is my favourite.
What are your thoughts on the franchise? Best Bond? Best Film? etc. among-st other Bond-related stuff.

What a fucking pleb. Back in my day tbs used to show bond marathons. Nothing but bond. Back to back. All weekend long.

So what's up with this? I haven't heard any news in a while about it. Does /tv/ think it's possible for it to be good?
At least it won't have the curse of video game movies considering it'll be based off the books

>Splash Report ran a comprehensive history of the DC Extended Universe's problem with hiring directors, and there was one particular case that the publication seems to think played an important part to Matt Reeves ultimately signing on the dotted line to shepherd The Batman into cinematic birth. As it turns out, James Wan's hiring to direct Aquaman came with a pretty important stipulation ensuring the father of The Conjuring franchise would play ball: total creative control. Now, as you can see in the DCEU, getting that assurance is as hard as pulling The Joker's teeth, and Reeves' initial pass on the offer was because Warner Bros thought they could stand their ground and keep their hands on the wheel.
>Of course, seeing as The Batman now officially has Matt Reeves as its director in charge, Warner Bros. has allegedly relented, reverting back to its pre-release attitude of laissez-faire filmmaking that tinted Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's early days. At least, that's what one would think, considering the public's reaction to both Zack Snyder's first DCEU entry, as well as the "Academy Award Winning" Suicide Squad, was less than stellar. Not to mention, the constant stream of directors leaving projects like The Flash have left the future of DC Comics' shared universe in serious question. A change is needed, and allowing someone like Matt Reeves to build his own version of The Batman is a good step in the right direction.
Have they learned their lesson /tv/?
Are we about to enter the age of DC?
>Have they learned their lesson /tv/?
No.
>Are we about to enter the age of DC?
No.
Those are the directors that Warner Bros. has had trouble keeping on board for their DC Extended Universe (DCEU) projects.
MacLaren was going to direct Wonder Woman, then left over “creative differences” (April 2015)
Grahame-Smith was going to write and direct The Flash, then left over “creative differences” (April 2016)
Famuyiwa was going to co-write and direct The Flash, then left over “creative differences” (October 2016)
Affleck was going to co-write and direct The Batman, then abruptly dropped out (January 2017)
Reeves was in talks to take over for Affleck on The Batman, then he withdrew from those negotiations. A week later, he officially signed on (February 2017)

This entire article makes no sense
>DC were trying to be too over-bearing turning off directors since they clearly don't know what they're doing
>so they're going back to the hands-off approach that ruined Batman v Superman and Suicide Squad supposedly
>hopefully this will fix the DCEU
This is some insane mental gymnastics
Just get Snyder to direct everything. There, fixed

Silence for Best Picture. TND was snubbed for Art Design and Cinematography.
Also is the exorcist scary? I was brought up to not have anything demonic related and I stick to that now, but is it really as scary as everyone says?
>Also is the exorcist scary?
At this point in cinema history I don't think you can call it 'scary', but The Exorcist pretty much created the entire genre and it's arguably the best on artistic terms with maybe Shining being a slightly better movie. Both movies are great way to introduce somebody into horror genre. I'd also try Army of Darkness or Evil Dead 2 as those movies mix horror with comedy.
What's your general opinion on horror movies and their audience? It genuinely seems interesting to me.

Sorry, I wrote a long reply but my safari crashed.
I don't like horror films, simply because every time I hear about them, they use the same old plots and tropes.
I don't WATCH them because of my fathers experiences, when he was in university, being a JW at this point, he decided to watch poltergeist, in the middle of the film stuff started flying off his shelves hitting him. He was scared out of his life and did not come back into his flag for days.
He also saw some friends using a Ouija board and saw the garage door slam shut and open because they were playing there.
In general, I avoid them, I MUCH MUCH prefer the unseen horrors, like thrillers and crime films.
