So what exactly was the gift or weapon they gave us? It didn't make any sense. So basically learning their language let's you see the future? If that's the case, won't that create a situation where one can change the future, thereby rendering your whole language meaningless?

Interstellar is a dumbed down remake of 2001 with cool visuals and muh love.
