from what i remember of my friend's it was very limited. It was pretty much impossible to get the arm out from behind that cloak, so however much movement you can imagine being possible behind the cloak is what he had. The other creatures have a good deal more articulation then him, still limited mine you, but more or less what was expected back then.

Theyre from a kind of generic fantasy line that showed up at like Big Lots years ago. I have that cobra guy. I think most of the sculpts are by Chap Mei.

I have some potato heads but I can't stand the newbody types how they got rid of shoes and just have shoes with pants attached, that only fit the new slimmer bodies.
It put me off collecting and I only buy the mini ones now

The new ones have tons of flaws too, like the mouth hole being a smile instead of just a hole, it's really annoying, but i do like them. Personally I think the 80s-90s sets are the best in terms of overall quality.

They're awful. They list stuff that's not really in stock and they send leftovers from CA shows. When you finally get something that's been groped by every hamhands at those shows, they don't honor their mint condition guarantee.

I've only ever ordered a Figma from them. Came relatively quick for free shipping (like 2 weeks total), was packed well. Also got me on a mailing list of their catalog which lets me see a lot of cool new shit that's coming out I likely wouldn't have normally seen. I don't think they are bad or really even below average, just probably not the best out there.

Amazon is still probably slapping shipping labels directly onto the packaging. They don't care if the packaging is inadequate for mailing.

Even if it was adequate for mailing, it still ruins the packaging to plaster a shipping label on it, if you're a MIB collector, never buy from Amazon

Honestly, MIB collecting or not, in my eyes its very unprofessional for a huge company like Amazon to do that. Imagine if you were buying something like that as a gift, and you've got to hand a present over to someone, and you give them a ragged, ratty looking piece of shit box.

When you buy something new, you sort of expect it to arrive to you in reasonably undamaged condition, even if it is just the box.

My biggest issue with Amazon is that they almost always seem to use too little--if any at all--packing materials. Having your item rattle around in a box that's 3x too big often causes an item to arrive damaged too.

I once ordered a figure off Amazon, and was baffled when the box arrived and the box size was only about 2/3 the size of the actual item's packaging. Turns out, they just crushed the fuck out of the item's package so they could fit it into a box that was far too small.

Not toy related, but I've had numerous hardcover artbooks, and comics, and other books arrived banged up, and with fucked up corners because they were improperly packaged too.

I mean, there's obviously some merchandising but not like it used to be.

Looked through it all, nothing really jumped out at me. They used to have great deals but I guess they cut back and changed it to store credit.
