I just thought of a cool design idea for Weather Report (stand)'s SAS and what he could potentially come with if they ever made it.

Since we rarely see it fully (aka, from the waist down), I thought that something cool for it would be that it starts solid from the head and down to it's hands, but starts gradually going from solid to clear plastic as it gets to it's feet.

As for accessories, I'd imagine it coming with lots of cloud attachments obviously, some of the blood spike spires, and a few snail attachments.

Thoughts?

It's an interesting idea. Medicos hasn't really executed the partway summon look stands would have behind the user without the legs poking out in some way. Oddly enough my Stone Free from release has a easily detachable torso that can sort of emulate that effect now that I look back.

I have Act 4's and they work wonderfully but I always lean towards using the claw. You do have the abillity to take out these small holes which adjust to each side to put the arm and attach the Act 4 bases to each other by a connector for a bigger display. Also there is the plus side of bases coming in packs versus SAS being mostly exclusive to the figure and special 3 hole bases for specific releases and WF packs. There is also the issue of accumilating a lot of empty side pieces of the base since they have no hole to place an arm on.

I dig the modularity of SAS bases but after messing with 3 hole bases I don't know why they haven't made it a norm for the line. I'd rather have extra functionality versus the "cleaner" look of just single hole sides.

I think in this case it could be used for the impact sound of CD's punches, or a deep 'whoosh' for the punches as they're thrown.

I have a dilemma. I want to get WF Giorno because of color scheme. I plan to get regular GE. Now I want to have a blonde head for Giorno so should I get Giorno 2nd or save cash and get WF GER who had awakened Giorno head but has a green color scheme to standard GE.

This would require me to only buy three figures but the GE's won't match colors, which may be okay. Or should I get both gold GE & GER and two Giorno's to swap heads or just get the three figures from the first plan? First plan seems best moneywise.

WF Gio is in a wierd spot with colors matching well with gold GE and GER but if you want just the blonde head then stick to Giorno 1st since WF Gio's skin tone retains the original paint schemes of old SAS and after seeing a few swaps with the Awakened Giorno head, the clash of skin tones may bug you if they contrast too much (I think it was Wond who posted up the first shot and his WF Awakened Gio head didn't match up too well with the tanned shades of his WF Gio).

Not sure how well Gio 2nd will fare since he has the new skin paint apps.

And the issue of getting in WF GER is he only matches well with Giorno 1st since the green tones and pinks work in tandem even with how loud the color contrasts are.

Giorno 1st hair is shaded much more nicely so yes, it's your best option. As for thr useless figure thing, if you put your spare wf head on pink giorno it looks fucking amazing, even more so with wf GE,which is cheap as fuck.

I pose my figures in positions araki would draw them if they were just standing.
Diavolos pose is a good example of that.

A decent bet for WF Gio is probably YAJ if a decent drop happens and your proxy fees won't break your budget. Provided other buyers won't overbid to 10k+. Otherwise I do recommend Rakuten's Terraformer store since I got my WF Gio for 9k off them. Maybe Jungle Japan would offer a decent result but always keep those tabs open and price compare across sites to gauge value.

Got a question for you guys. I recently got a 1st release Kakyoin (not knowing it had a different neck joint from subsequent releases) and when I went to change out heads on him, the snapped (felt more like it crumbled). I've tried super gluing it back on a couple of times now (probably too many to be honest). Even though the glue seems to hold after drying, when I go to turn his head, the glue on his neck gives before I can get it to turn (let alone get it off to change heads). Any advice on how to fix it (have my repeated attempts at super gluing it back on hurt my options?) or should I just eat the loss and buy a newer release version? Really bummed DESU.

Are the 2nd and 3rd versions even worth it if you don't like th colors? I already have the part 4 cast with the original colors, and I don't really like the pink colors too much. On the other hand, all of my part 5 crew (save diavolo, abbachio, fugo and narancia) are the second colors and I think it fits better for them to have more individual color schemes rather than one for the part

I'm probably going to pick up WF Gyro since I'm growing to like that colorway and for the soundplate. I can't make the call for horses unless Medicos goes the WF exclusive route again to limit production and for Valentine, I'm ordering 3 to get that beatdown scene in the train. A white colorway for a Valentine 1st is probably my realistic expectation but I would love to see a red variation some day.

Don't think it's about being the "right" color. I think it's about not being a shit ir bland colorway. I'm not a big fan of Kira 1st's white hair on white suit he's got going on. Just looks really meh to me. Also don't like all the fuckin navy blue on Joseph 1st (also still pissy he doesn't come with a smirking face like the WF version does, I mean, that's like Joseph's default expression!).

Gyro is one of my favorite characters in all of jojo, so I plan to buy the SAS whenever it gets released. As for colors, even though the ideal would be to buy the WF and 2nd versions, realistically I might just buy the 2nd version regardless of the color scheme.

lol, good luck if you live outside of Japan. The overwhelming majority of SAS on Amazon.jp don't ship internationally. After figuring out how to refine the search to just figures that were available for international shipping, I think there were like 5 SAS listed. You could probably use a proxy service to get what you want from them, but by the time you pay for shipping, proxy fees, and shipping again, I dunnno if it ends up being worth it.
