I've been wanting to run a Dark Souls/Demons Souls campaing, using either the game's settings (Lordran/Boletaria) Or a custom one, fitting the lore.
My problem is... What system do I even use for Dark Souls?

"Thanks for spending the night with me again Rina." The overweight man smiles at you. "You know you always look cute in your uniform, I like it!" He takes out some cash from his wallet and puts it down on the massage table. "Here's a little pocket money for you."

Although you hated this line of work, you had to do it. This was the only way your stupid older brother could live. "Eh? Thank you so much Shin!" Your lips curl into a forced smile. You couldn't even remember the last time you were happy enough to actually smile. "Come again okay!" For as long as you can remember you have been wearing a mask of happiness.

Although you wanted to tell him off, you couldn't do it. You had to act cute to bring in the customers. The more customers you bring in, the faster you could pay off the debt you inherited from your brother.

After the man leaves you take the money he left and you put on your clothes. You have gotten used to it. The smell of sweat and sex in the air doesn't bother you anymore. "Ah... Finally... I can go home..." You sigh to yourself. You take the money he left as tip and you take a look at it. "Hmm... Maybe I should go to karaoke tonight and unwind..."

[ ] It would be best just to go home.

[ ] Sometimes a little relaxation is good for the body.

"Well why don't we push my luck just a little bit? One more deal. Highest stakes you can fathom. Statistically there's no way possible I should win the next hand. What do you say?"

You say, a sly smirk crossing your face.

Nah'vash hesitates, one of his four hands fidgeting absently as he thinks. A beat passes, and another before the qun'kai finally speaks.

"Highest stakes I can fathom? What is it you want then.... Captain?"

He asks roughly, his reptilian lips pulled into a snarl.

"A ship. Or if you don't have one enough credits to buy one."

You reply with a calm certainty.

"Hmmmmm... fine. But if I win, me and my boys but you in chains and your sad little life is mine. Do we have a deal?"

He asks his thin scaly lips turned upward into a cruel grin.

You consider your options for a second, between taking your life and the life of the weasel that shot you and walking away or betting everything on an opportunity to get off this rock. Your eyes scan the crowd Regi watches you with eager eyes while the woman at the bar eyes you both with a kind of hunger. Desperation almost. The world waits for you answer.

Note: As kind of a fun plot point more information will be revealed about to dice and their origins over time as the story progresses, however playing as Liam you know that the dice are bound to you. If you give Nah'vash the dice they will in time return to you, which may make you a long term enemy down the line for tricking Nah'vash.

What happened recently: Shizune attempted to defeat Lily at their final showdown with a cheap trick. However it backfired and Lancer canceled his contract with his Master. Now Lily seems to be keen on taking you out!

You shake in fear. Whatever Lily is going to say it’s not going to be pretty.
“Is this what you were trying to tell me earlier?”
“Yes. It’s the reason why Archer’s bow is pointed at you. Harming a Master is strictly against the rules I swore to uphold. But the thing is, as Archer’s arrow will pierce your heart, you won’t die”.
“Actually I think I will. People die when they’re killed, Lily”.
“Of course, this holds true with no exception. Which means you’re not people, Johnathan”.
You don’t think this was meant as an insult, and you don’t perceive it as one either. You stay silent in the hope of learning more about what Lily is talking about.
“The Holy Grail is the result of a complicated and magic ritual, whose details we scarcely know. The fragments we have about the creation of it made me suspect it came from another universe. It’s the power of the Holy Grail that brings Heroic Spirits back to life from the Throne of Heroes. Such a power, however, is not unbounded”
“Unbounded?”
“Yes, even the Grail has limits, one of it being that it can’t manifest itself without a catalyst, a physical embodiment”.

At which point does a Power-Armor stops becoming simply super-armor and becomes a full blown Mech?

Is there a tin-line between Mechs and Power-Armor or is there a substantial difference I'm unaware off?

Previously, our young protagonist retrieved a magical artifact for the heirs of Dragonfell, soon after discovering it's true nature as a soul. After a small disagreement, Mona ended up drinking it, regaining her lost passion, as well as a temporary hitchhiker. Now back to normal, she joins you in fleeing from the warrior monks, and hiding away at an Inn a ways across town.

The morning after, you wake in a large bed on the second floor of a decent inn. After rubbing your eyes, you spy Mona sitting across the room, happily chewing on a tort as she watches a small pen scratch across the surface of a thick journal in midair. She notices you up, and waves.

"Morning, darling! I bought a diary! I'm putting all my feelings on paper, so I can feel free to express them without troubling you like before."
