Previously, our young protagonist returned to her hometown, finding little difference at the surface. Soon, however, she realized the feud between the two royal factions had grown out of control. The house of the Red Queen was poised to overthrow the house of the Black Queen, turning the kingdom into a machine of war. After discovering a way to potentially cure Mona of her demonic curse, as well as meeting the true heirs to the throne, our protagonist agrees to infiltrate the castle of the Black house, and retrieve the best one remaining relic that may sway the people to the side of Ortho and Esmeralda.
The warrior monks aid you by applying an ancient, far-eastern healing technique, strengthening your body until you feel good as new despite your remaining wounds. They also outfit you with a new set of clothes wovendors of silk, leather, and soft cotton. The colors are deep red and yellow, save for the leathers that guard your soft bits, which are dark and rich brown. They also drape you in a red cloak, which bears a glamour that will help prevent you being spotted so long as no person looks directly at you. Finally, they outfit you with a set of finely crafted throwing stars, and a dagger to be concealed in the small of your back.
You state at yourself in a standing mirror set for you after the fitting. The handmaid has gone, leaving you alone with Mona. You feel less like a Ranger now, devoid of your green, but this is as close an approximation as you can expect from the monks. You also notice that the ensemble makes your hips look fairly good.
You turn to Mona.
"I think I should go with you."

Mona slides off of the table she has been warming with her seat, and dusts herself off.
"I was reading some history books while you were being healed. This catalyst they want is strange. It predates the kingdom, but it's never been used for anything. The Dragon slayer king and his original companions kept it around, and declared it a treasure of the same value as their relic weapons, but other than that it's pretty vague what the thing actually does."
>"It doesn't matter, we've already agreed."
>"Maybe we should rethink this."

So this guy in my 5e group is saying that telepathy should count as a language that you can pick up, like acting the same as Common or Dwarvish. Someone in the group says that it shouldn't count as a language that you can learn, but it's more like an ability. What does /tg/ think?
source for that pic?
Nah, Telepathy is a power. Your guy wanting it to count as a language is trying to powergame.
>>44130803
It's definitly more like an ability. If it counted as a language there would be no reason to take anything else, since Telepathy lets you bypass the language barrier entirely.
Like, imagine if this was your list of options for language
>Common
>Elven
>Dwarven
>The ability to speak with anyone who speaks those three languages without the chance of anyone else overhearing
The only benefits to actually knowing a language would be reading and giving speeches, which aren't nearly as frequent.

In the previous episode: Lancer and Shizune have attacked Misha and Berserker, branding them as traitor. Despite Berserker getting the upper hand, Lancer defeated him, and he's now trying to "dispose" of you as well.
=============
A stony silence fell on the battlefield. Misha's sadness has now turned into genuine fear for her life. Your right hand is clenched around your left wrist, ready to summon Ananke if necessary.
Shizune is still looking distraught, while Lancer looks at you sardonically.
Then, Shizune takes a step forward. Showing you the back of her hand with the Command Seals, she touches the tattoo and you can see one of the figures composing it disappear. She must be using a Command Spell.
Lancer turns around to look at her with his only good eye, then he squints at you.
"It will be for another day, sniveling coward. Until then".
Both Shizune and Lancer take their leave, as you bend over trying to help Misha get up.
She's sitting in the dust, holding her legs with her arms.
She is not even looking at you, and she seem to have no desire to get up either, her head resting on her knees sidewise.
"I have no more tears to cry, John. I have cried my eyes out, all in vain. I was the reason Berserker was defeated. I was the reason you were defeated. And I lost Shizune too, on the top of it. Wouldn't it be better if just disappeared?"
You put an hand on her shoulder.
"Don't say things like that, Misha".
"Who's going to miss me?"
"I am, for sure"
She smiles to you sadly. "You're the only one by now, John".
You shake your head vigorously. "Shizune hasn't forgotten you, she's just confused by her own actions. When this war will be over you will get your friend back. Besides, think of your family".
(1/2)
>>44130426
Misha laughs bitterly. "My family? John, have you forgotten where you are? Families dump their 'special' kids at Yamaku when they don't want them around anymore. No exceptions".
You stop and think. You don't even have a family to begin with.
You are probably not fit to cheer Misha up, but you have to say something.
>"Do you remember what Berserker told you?"
>"Do you remember what I told you?"
>>44130461
>"Do you remember what Berserker told you?"FRIENDS FOREVER~
>"So now you feel you've lost everything. But that just means you have everything to gain, and you have nothing to lose by fighting for it with your absolute all. What is the one thing you truly want most right now, Misha?"
>>44130603
"have you forgotten what Berserker said?"
Your words seem to have piqued her interest.
"She said that when all seems lost, your friends got your back. I have your back. And Berserker too. He promised you'd be friends forever".
She smiles, this time a little bit more brightly.
"You are very lonely, John. Aren't you? This is why you always try to help people".
Her words take you by surprise. You never realized how lonely you were up to this point. Is she saying this because she can relate?
All the girls you now call friends ignored you until you came around and helped them.
"I helped them because I thought it was the right thing to do"
"Why do you think so?"
You shrug."What is the point of crushing somebody who is down, Misha?I didn't help you because I wanted your friendship in return. It just felt right. When I came here, everybody treated me poorly or avoided me. That hurt, I didn't want anybody to feel the same. Maybe it's idealistic or crazy, but I never had to give up on anything to make people around me happy, so far".
She smiles, looking at the ground. She probably gave up on a lot to make Shizune happy. "Your happiness is important too,Misha. At least for me".
She turns her gaze to you once more.
"Thank you John. You deserve happiness too. Don't place other people's happiness before your own, like I did".
"I will never", you claim confidently.
She stretches her hand towards you, and it takes you a while to catch the hint. Then you finally help her up, and you both laugh.
"I can't wait for this whole war business to be over", you claim.
"What do you want to do afterwards?"
"Hm...I want to visit a certain friend of mine. I don't know for the rest. And what about you?"
Misha looks at the sky, thinking intensely.
"I want to improve my curriculum. I would like to study abroad, you know?"
As you're entering the school, something comes to your mind instantly. Emi wasn't at the track. Maybe something happened to her.

On the frozen planet of Rassael stood a hidden yet impotent temple dedicated to the God-Emperor of humankind. Inside of its holy walls there was a group of faithful humans with a clear objective on their hearts and minds. Protecting the faithful and purging any trace of corrupting deviation.
The temple is constantly assaulted by howling winds that seem to carry whispers of the past, present and future with them. To the touched by his grace those whispers can become yelling screams. It is unknown what or why on that desolated planet the winds carry those words but the Sisters of the Order of his Gilded Anima decided to investigate it. After settling on the world and creating a small colony they discovered that those supernatural voices could be beneficial, and carry precautions that greatly aided the Imperium to bigger or lesser degree. Still, those came with a price, sanity. After only twelve years on the surface of Rassael the first case of warp derived insanity appeared. That poor soul became lost and dammed after his will succumbed to the voices and he ended with some cacophonic roars inside his head that would put most forms of schizophrenia to shame. Several new cases came afterwards and in some of them with a great bloodbath along them, if those voices overcame a psychically gifted individual it would lose all its control and become a daemonhost… or worse.
>>44130316
That danger and those scarring death were considered an affordable price. Those same voices that had turned so many people mad did also save countless of Imperial lives with their premonitory murmurs. The Sisters decided that they would sacrifice their sanity and souls for their cause, and changed their name to Martyrs of the Order of his Gilded Anima. Several thousands chiming bells were constructed from gold mixed with the ashes of their deceased and most loyal Sisters. With the constant winds those bells started to sound at all times, it was a noisy and annoying sound yes, but a small pay compared with what listening to the voices could do to your mind.
Humanity probed once again that no matter how big the challenge it was, they could beat it. Within months all of the colonists, serfs and Sororitas of the Temple and its surrounding village were accustomed to the sound of the bells and they ceased to notice their sound completely, on a side effect this made them become mildly deaf and this has made the place develop a unique form of sign language and to the creation of mute liturgies in which the worship of the Emperor was developed in a mixture of sing language and few delicate dance moves.
>>44130334
The Martyrs didn’t abandon their true mission and from time to time they sent Sisters to scout and explore the planet in the search of the source of the voices. Those missions were rotary; they spent three months exploring and the rest of the years doing different duties, that way they let their brains rest and purge any kind of taint that they could have gotten from outside. Another new addition to their small corner of the Galaxy was the creation of the Infinity Bell, a massive bell that rested on top of the temple and was extremely detailed and covered in a mixture of dates, names, litanies and symbols that gave it a great protection against the dark forces. This bell, somehow, also acted as an energy shield generator and from the top of the tower from where it rested a great dome of transparent psychoelectric energy that further protected the loyal citizens and warriors that lived within.
Today people all around the temple were nervous, it was a strange sight, tranquility was usually the commonplace. The arrival of a stranger had caused the Infinity Bell to resonate all across those old and holy walls. It was an emissary of a powerful and secretive Inquisitor of the most dangerous and misunderstood Ordos, the Ordo Malleus. Even if it was now a mere courier its inclusion among the Daemonhunters gave him a great show of respect among the Sisters. It carried with himself a scroll that had been signed by both the Inquisition and the Munitorium. Without losing a second and ever straying from its path the courier advanced towards the Canoness Superior and then with a great yet quick show of respect he gave her the message:

How do souls function in your settings?
How are they created?
Do they have something significant in them?
Do the souls go to some afterlife or there is something much more to it?
Post your souls.
Also may be something philosophical in it.

But Anon, we already had one of those in Radha and she is amazing. Did we need the R/G Wondertwins? And why did we get two R/G legends in the same block when it's a two-set block and not about legendaries?
