What are the main cultural differences between the USA and Europe? My group traveled to the USA and I've never been in USA.
>>45016873
When you ask for water, it's free. That was the biggest culture shock for me going to Scotland. I asked for water and got charged for it.
>>45016873
Just cover all the food in cheese and dip it in ketchup, and make sure every NPC has at least three guns
I'm not even an American and I know that there is a massive cultural difference between states let alone different countries. The cultural difference between Maine and California are so huge they may as well be different countries. The only thing that links them is the currency and McDonalds.
>>45016901
That's just Scots having a keen eye for a tourist mark.
Here ye, here ye! Gather around all ye Hero's of the village! For far too long has our village been plagued by those damned able and most vile raiders of the Underdark! The time has come to deal with the problem that is the Drow outpost within the mountains to the Southwest! But first, we must come up with a plan. To whomever's plan we use, I shall award you with a pouch containing no less then 500 pieces of Gold as well as the hand of the Mayor's second daughter!
Why don't we take the village, and push it somewhere else!?
>>45016699
What have they been raiding?
>>45016728
Now that is one plan. But let us not see if we cannot find one that will ruin the village and it's entire economy based around the syrup that we harvest from the forests west of here. Any other takers?

Dwarf Warriors(4;+1) cost the same as Hammerers(4) and Ironbreakers(4) unless there are 20+ then they cost more.
Quarrellers are (5;+1) and Thunderers are (6;+1).
OK.
>>45017416
>Dwarf Warriors(4;+1) cost the same as Hammerers(4) and Ironbreakers(4)
Warriors(4) for 10 models, Hammerers and Ironbreaker are (4) for 5 models, sound reasonable(but not accurate). BTW, Warriors cost (9) for 20 models.
Not sure about Quarrellers and Thunderers thru.
>>45016083
That artwork looks really cool.
Why the hell can't we get dwarf or salamander models that actually look like that?

You tell the demons to stay alert as you squat down besides Fitz.
“Is there something you need?” You ask. If looks could kill, you’d be dead multiple times over. “I’m not trying to be a smartass. Like…here, blink once for yes, twice for no, okay? Can you do that?”
She still looks as irritable as an immobilized person can be, but she manages to blink once.
“Gotcha. So…do you want me to do something?”
One blink. “No shit.”
“Okay, then. You want me to fix you?”
One blink, with a desperate look in her eyes. “Oh for the love of God, yes!”
“Ah…right, about that…” You rub your head sheepishly. “It looks like we don’t have any items or spells that can heel this kind of thing…whatever it is.”
“A bind spell, mortal,” Apsaras answers without addressing you directly. “My mistress has been struck with a paralyzing spell, the likes of which can only be nullified by an item, a healing spell, or the victim’s own personal prowess.”
“…okay then,” You respond to the demon before returning back to Fitz. “Did you get all that?”
A quick, irritated blink. “Of course, Captain Obvious.”
“Well then, you can clearly see that I don’t have a lot of options here...”
>Move Fitz behind the electric fence.
>Leave her at the barricade.
>>45015915
Is behind the electric fence deeper into cover/generator area? Not completely sure how where we are relative to the objective.

>Move Fitz behind the electric fence.
>>45015941
The electric fence guards the doors that lead to the underground generators. That's what you need to protect. Right now, you and Fitz are outside the area, standing by the gate entrance that leads towards the bunker.
Welcome to Banished Quest!
You take the role of a young mage labeled a criminal by his people and cast out into the wider world. In the last thread you got gored by a charging corpse monster.

You're struck by just how immense the pain in your abdomen is whilst hurtling through the air, further into the hallway. The only indication that your attacker exist at all is your own red blood outlining the shape of an otherwise invisible horn. You land hard upon the rough, uneven stone amidst a stagnant pool of blood and rotting vegetation, your armor only partially softening your fall. Fortunately the wound in your abdomen has already healed, though you don't recall exerting any conscious effort to close the jagged gash. A benefit of your expertise in the magical arts, no doubt.
>Vys Pool: (51/66)
>Combat Initiated!
>Allied Turn!
>Enemies Remaining: 1x Wandering Spirit
>Allies: Darzi, Fulvia, Mortia, Profectus
>Status: Unharmed
Profectus angles his shield, sparks streaming from the metal surface as your unseen attacker carries on his assault. Darzi, standing just behind your elven compatriot, shoves her long bladed spear forward and buries it deep within what you assume to be the creature's chest. Cracking fills the air as a blue bolt of vys discharges from the spear's tip, sending shards of bone and bits of singed flesh flying through the air.
Flame, accompanied by the stench of burning hair, licks across some unseen surface suspended in midair. No doubt Darzi's attack caused the beast's fur to catch fire. Fulvia seems to use this as a marker for her own attack, willing into existence a half dozen globules of liquid fire and hurling them towards the patch of burning flesh. The first strikes the beast and spills across its shoulder, revealing much of its torso and right arm. The second strikes lower, exploding within its now gaping chest cavity. Unfortunately the others are snuffed out before they can reach the creature, simply vanishing as they make contact.

Should it be a new Dawn of War or something similar to Total War?
If similar to Total War how would you balance the factions?
Should the map be galaxy size,a single star system size or single plane size?
Should it have space battles or not?
If Dawn of War what changes or old mechanics would you like to see?

You are Kline Bueller, and you are resting in Maria's house. Who knew she had such an interesting family?
The sheets are thrown off as you rise from the bed and you let out a yawn. This was the nicest bed you slept on, even better than the guild's bed. Quickly getting dressed, you step out of your room and head downstairs, seeing two blonde men chatting among each other about how they killed the most monsters. Justine, meanwhile, is sitting down, reading.
What do you do?
>Introduce yourself to the men.
>Go look for Joanne.
>Talk to Justine.

>>45015053
You walk towards the men, who are still talking.
"I tell you, I shot down a number of birds, and I ain't never seen so much flying in the sky before." The blonde man wearing a red shirt cackles.
"Are you kidding, Len?" The other blonde man wearing a blue shirt asks. "Don't you remeber the time where-"
"Good morning, gentlemen." you politely interject into the conversation. "My name is Kline Bueller, I'm a friend of your sister, Maria, and-"
"Friend?" Len scoffs. "Did you hear that, Ron? Our sister managed to get herself a man!"
"Oh, lord, son." Ron shakes his head. "I am so sorry about you having to deal with our crazy little sister." He sits up and puts a hand on your shoulder. "I feel your pain."
"Um, thank you, I think." You blink.
"We heard about y'all from Mom. So, you're the guys looking for her highness?" Len asks.
"Yes, we are." You nod.
"I wish Maria would run off somewhere- Oh, wait, didn't she already do that?" Ron scratches his head.
"And all was right with the world." Len nods.
>"You two don't really like Maria much."
>"Don't you guys miss your little sister?"

Option to go with from last time:
>Go outside and check out the "junkyard" of contraptions Pampi had outside. Perhaps you could salvage something and make something of your own.
You were outside Pampi's house. There was a bunch of junk here, and quite a lot of if was huge, like the tank Jenny has been left in. The witch apprentice must've gotten help from the other Titans, or the Blue Witch herself, you assumed. When you asked her if you could use some it, she gladly accepted. "I have to get rid of it anyway" she mentioned.
There were plenty of varied spare parts. Some of it was stationary equipment, like industrial refrigerators or water purifiers , and you discarded them as an option. Instead, you paid more attention to what you could bring with you. You had plenty of experience with improvising technology together from your Battlebot club experience, so assembling something would be easy - it was just a matter of patience and effort.
You also noticed that Pampi had gone outside too, a bit after you did, and was sorting out parts - apparently what to keep and what to throw away. She was dressed rather skimpily this time too. You quickly noticed that she was actually just grabbing thing and putting them back, while giving you short, shy glances now and then. Rocking her world last night in bed must've really left an impression on her.
Pampi's appearance and apparent intentions just made you want to work on your task even harder, and block out the thoughts of her being there. You cleared your throat uneasily, and got to work.
What did you make? Note that each of these can be expanded on later to add more.
>Walker: A seat in a small chassis, with a pair of legs. Useful as a vehicle.

Welcome back to Cell Evolution Quest last time you were here you decided to deal with some pesky microscopic mosquitos! The whole thing went better than expected but you still have a small problem. There is a shortage of floaty things in the area and you must now hunt the wiggle things.
1. Try to find an area with more floaty things
2. Float about and try to lure prey towards you
3. other- find your own solution

Post your good aligned monsters that you like the best in D&D or Pathfinder in this thread.

That basically doesn't happen anon. Neutral isn't unheard of, but good? Nope. I am sure it can happen, but it is very, very rare indeed.

Yeah you're full of bullshit. Please also tell me about the time your first level character killed a great wyrm dragon through his sheer edgy bad-assery. What you just described is literally impossible.
Hey guys, I'm new to Role playing games and after lurking on here I'm intrested in Dnd. The problem is I don't know anyone who's played it before. I have a group of friends willing to try. But I think I'll have to DM. but I'm curious on tips on how to not suck.
it's going to suck the first couple of times. things will feel uncomfortable, sometimes awkward, you'll run into scenarios you didn't plan or envision and just be at a total lost
relax. play through. have fun, don't be too serious.
and remember pic related
>>45013317
First and foremost, you're going to suck, just try to learn from your mistakes.
Try to keep things moving fairly quickly in combat (and elsewhere to a degree), even if that means you have to fudge a rule or two now and then.
Try not to let the characters get stuck at some obstacle. D&D doesn't really have rules for it, but "fail forward" is a good way of doing things. If they come to a locked door, for example, try not to have them just fail to unlock it / break it down / whatever if they roll badly, but rather have them open it noisily in some way (and potentially alert guards in the process). Unless, of course, there are other ways to continue, in which case do whatever.
Published adventures are great for getting into DMing since, while you don't know they'll be super amazing, you can usually trust them to not be terrible (and you can look up reviews online for many of them).
>>45013317
Run a module, tell everyone the buy in is snacks for shareing, give out blowjobs at the end for good roleplay.
Have fun.
Does anyone have an estimate of how long it will take to repair the Warp Drive? It's no good having Guardsmen with nothing to fight, makes them disorderly.
>>45013303
A delicate matter? Well, if the matter requires a small force then I do believe I and my staff could help you. If you need a large one.....we simply lack the manpower, it would be better to ask Verasii....unless you can't, that is.
>>45013160
As is salvation. They have one chance at redemption. As a Praecentor, my goal is to make sure they achieve that, even after their crimes.
