To enslave and kill until everyone is under his tyrannical rule and then move on to conquer all other planes.

He's some 700-ish old vampire that's sick and tired of the PCs (who are dedicated and elite monster hunters) fucking with his and everyone else's shit. He wouldn't care less if we just stuck to putting silver bolts into werewolves or ran around putting geists to rest, but we had to ruin this big party he and all his friends go to every year.

So he's assembled a posse of lots of vampires and is trying to find and kill us. (With the unfortunate exception of my character, who has a wanted: alive bounty. These things happen when you promise yourself to a bloodsucker in order to get into her dungeons and free all her slaves. And being taken alive by bloodsuckers is far worse.)

Eh, the Forsaken are fairly chill with the living, all things considered. The ones who go completely buttmad evil like Putress and that warden doing experiments in Hillsbrad usually get killed off by other Forsaken.

Other than that, Sylvania under Vlad von Carstein in old Warhammer lore was pretty chill. Even during the historical Vampire Wars when he invaded to try and declare himself emperor, he offered fair terms of surrender to every town, city and army he came across, honoured them to the letter, and only massacred and turned undead those who actively tried to fight him off or undermine his regime. Horrifically tyrannical, yes, but still had lots of living people living relatively comfortably under his rule. Sylvania itself was mentioned to be relatively peaceful since it no longer had a mad, sadistic count, but rather a brutally efficient one.

Bombs?

1: Crank Bomb
Turn a crank to power it up. Roll d6 for each turn you crank it, charging up the damage that is released when you eventually throw it. If the charge reaches 13 damage or more it blows up in your face.

2: Mass Bomb
Has a spike on top that takes a small sample of the material it is stuck into (must be soft enough to prod, no gold). Explodes to fill a 10x10 area with that material. Organic tissue created this way will live if it can, but most likely not.

3: Slam Bomb
Causes all doors and lids in 10m to violently slam open or shut, even if locked.

4: Portal Bomb
Has a home pod that must be fixed onto a solid surface. Anything the bomb strikes, up to the size of a wagon, is teleported back to the home pod and the bomb along with it.

5: Monster Bomb
Requires a brain to be fed into a funnel on top of the bomb. An hour later it lights up as ready. When you throw the bomb a monstrous version of the brain’s owner is spawned and immediately hostile.

6: Piranha Bomb
Spawns a swarm of hungry piranhas (6hp, d6 jaws, detachment). When no food is left they devour each other. Obviously ineffective out of water.

7: Airmines
A floating sac of explosive gas (d10 blast). Far too sensitive, so a 1 in 6 chance that it goes off prematurely, causing no harm.

8: Augmentor Bomb
Explodes in a 5m cloud of shimmering air. Whoever is in the blast gets a random mechanical augmentation
1: Digster. Replaces mouth. Mechanical voice and vomit a corrosive slime at will (d6 ongoing damage, melt stuff).
2: Extender. Replaces neck. Extend up to 10m at will.
3: Thruster. Replaces anus. Converts waste into a powerful rocket-thrust once per day.
4: Wings. Fly and Slash (d8)
5: Trunk. Replaces nose, prehensile, scent analysis
6: Observer Dome. Replaces top half of head. 360 degree vision, d6 laser, levitate small items towards you.

Is the goal for the setting to be "extraordinary events are rare and dangerous"? Is the GM trying to emulate a WFRP grittiness of iron swords and leaky boots?

If so, your idea is kind of rules-lawyering your way into "magic" anyway. It doesn't matter if the fireball you cast comes from your fingers or a flask, if it does the same thing... and disrupts the tone the GM is going for.

Nigga what the fuck are you talking about. The Cult didn't become popular till the Constantine expansion which was an inherently violent series of events. It was a total revamp of Roman lore and it brought in huge numbers of fans both for the lore and just to use it to power game.

Besides Christians were total jobbers to those Mary Sue Emperors, so I don't get where you're coming from. Jesus was just another rehash of all those other continental merciful Gods. I'm still convinced that Jesus, Buddha and Quetzalcoatl are all the same guy and they forgot to reveal it.

Play them off as how the Nazis actually were? A diverse group of people with varying allegiances to "the cause", ranging from reluctant conscripts to aristocratic nationalists to cheering masses to full-on Gas the Juden stormniggers.

Overall though, they were still pretty super-villainy OP and remain overwhelmingly unsympathetic. "Just following orders" or not, this was a regime and political movement defined by institutionalized ethnic cleansing and waging unprovoked wars of conquest. They were directly responsible for dragging the world into the bloodiest conflict in human history (inb4 lol Versailles the British did it!).
