Programming is mathematics
>>8510728
Yes, obviously. Did you have a question?
>>8510733
I did not.
According to Google this is a real quote. What a completely retarded thing to say.
>the universe was created 13.8 billion years ago
What was around 13.81 billion years ago /sci/?
>created
checkmate atheists
>>8510724
Time came into being with the Universe, there was no 13.81 bya.
>>8510724
If there wasn't a universe, any discussion of time is pointless.
When did you realize that being infinite means being bordered by nothingness?
>>8510720
Infinite numbers aren't bordered, that's the point.
>>8510720
The answer is 16
Infinite is also equal to the number of times I fucked your mom OP. Without borders. i.e. she and I are still fucking.
I'm your new daddy
why dont you ever see x-axis of imaginary plane and y-axis of imaginary plane?
and area of a circle radius i would be
A = pi*i^2 = -pi
>>8509901
Because it doesn't add any new information that way?
You're just taking R^2 and multiplying by -1. Good job.
couldnt it explain some negative pi you see in formulas?
how can the universe be flat if space is 3d?
>>8509580
Think of a comic book. The book's pages are flat, even if you rip them in half. When you turn the next page, you are essentially determining the time rate of each event. The universe is essentially a different slide each and every time a Planck Length passes (smallest unit of time). If it were curved, the universe would be "curved" inwards as if you were pushing on a trampoline from the bottom. Things would rush faster outwards and would appear as if they were moving faster than the center.
A three dimensional system can only have one axis of rotation this gives it a flat shape
>>8509580
space is 4d
the extra d being time
Basic Algebra Time
Let's see it /sci/ :^)
Impossible to solve, proven by Mr Wiles haha :>>>>>)
>>8508873
Link to the proof?
No integer solutions, since [math]x + y + z \equiv x^2 + y^2 + z^2 \mod 2[/math]

can someone explain to me the difference between voltage and voltage drop, especially within the context of pic related
>>8512087
Voltage is always in reference to something.
That pic appears to be voltage across a resistor, current thought a resistor, and power lost through a resistor, all with resitance R ohms.
>>8512090
Yeah I would say voltage is just voltage, the drop is what is measured across a component or even a long transmission line for example.
Are these creatures conclusive evidence for the theory of evolution (be it natural selection or otherwise)?
Still nobody can explain to me how cuckoo brood parasitism evolved.
Once you have done that then you have proved evolution once and for all
>>8512044
Can they mate with each other?
There is no proof that an offspring could not mate with it's ancestors or "cousins" in fact I can mate with any female human that is not sterile. (We're assuming that the human is not too old or too young for reproduction.)
>>8512050
How could you not explain it? Mutationsort are the driver of evolution and mutations are random. With that in mind, what is the problem with this form of parasitic relationship ?
Any of you CS faggots play Screeps?
Is it a good way to teach yourself JS?
>>8511909
kys
JS is for dumb designers and frontend noobs
>>8511909
looks pretty cool OP
JS probably isn't usually agent-orientated, and it might pay to learn/borrow some algorithms from elsewhere
have you learnt much js through it yet?

Somebody please explain to me how methylphenidate gets you high.
>>8511562
It boosts levels of dopamine and serotonin in the brain. Plain and simple.
>>8511571
interesting
what would be reasons it wouldn't work?
>>8511574
Can't help you there.
Why do all calculus professors have such an enormous hard-on for arctan?
>>8511379
It's got a pretty derivative.
According to my calc 2 professor, it's because all of the other calc professors have an enormous hardon for it. In his words, "you're going to be seeing it a lot, so it's best to get comfortable with it now".
Because its really useful and yoy use it a lot , like this guy says >>8511395

Why is medicine considered a science?
>>8511117
because
1+2+3+4+.... = 1/12
>>8511117
Hello Varg.
It's considered a science because it uses the scientific method.
>>8511117
Why aren't you a credible source?
So I was on a lecture the other day and someone talked about properties of cancer cells compared to regular cells. From what I understood, the problem with cancer is that
1. The cells grow in bunches and spread to unwanted places.
2. The cells don't stop splitting, making it harder to destroy them.
So, I had an idea at that time that I wanted to share with you guys:
Is it possible for scientists to biologicaly design cells that use the 2nd cancer property that I listed, but without doing the 1st? Can we make use of this to create limbs and internal organs that can self repair, given enough time?
Disclaimer: I browse this board mainly for math purposes, and have no more than basic level background in biology. So explanations to where and why am I wrong are also welcome.
>>8511109
it shows. Use google you mongoloid.
>>8511129
I know google has answers, but I wanted those on this board who study biology to guide me into more specific subjects I should look into
theres a lot of work being done on that OP. google telomerase research. only thing is its damn hard to activate telomerase in non cancerous cells and non gametes.
>when you're stuck on a mathematical proof and you know deep down that this makes you a brainlet but you lie to yourself and say that this doesn't count because of a particular reason
Whats the problem, buddy?
Explaining the problem with your proof will often elucidate what was giving you trouble.
