For as long as you can remember, you have never been a very paranoid fellow. However, today you just can't shake the feeling that you are being watched.

While part of you chalked this up to the fact that Frau Strausse was still starign right at you, even though she remained blindfolded. However, you had been feeling this almost unnatural gaze upon you.

Another part of you chalked the feeling up to being back home, yet being treated as an enemy of the state. If you were cynical sort, you would use this as an excuse to do whatever you wanted, however, you were not so dishonourable to use such an excuse.

It was this unnatural feeling which drove you to look around the convoy as it made it's way to the impromptu command post that had been set up.

You looked back at the other occupants in the jeep with you. Aside from the driver and the gunner on the mounted .50 cal, Logan, Strasse and Gilamore sat in the back of the jeep with you.

Logan was sat to your right, cradling his Thompson with a sense of purpose, his eyes locked on Strasse.

Gilamore sat oposite Logan, his pistol was kept clutched in his hand. The gaudy revolver was cradled in his right hand, while he loaded massive cartridges into the revolver's cylinder.

Finally, Strasse sat oposite you. Unlike everyone else in the jeep, she was smiling happily. You knew not what was driving her to smile so broadly, but the smile and the fact that she kept looking towards you was slightly disconcerting.

You had no idea how long it would be until you would reach the small encampment where the commander had set up. You could guess that you would have enough time to talk to one of the people in your jeep.

>Talk with someone in the jeep (who?).

Something about Strasse worries me greatly.
It wouldn't surprise me if she's not entirely human.

You are Carrina... no, you're Carya Marseille-O'Hara, and for the first time in years you're no longer alone with your own thoughts. Your sister Catrina has returned, a silent but very real presence within your mind once more. In the years since the accident that stranded her here you began to grow accustomed to the situation, until she fell silent not long after the birth of your child. But now you're two newtypes in one body once more, and it feels as if everything is right with the world.

“Can you speak with her?” Rossweisse asks you after taking a few moments to collect herself after the shocking revelation. Even though she can feel what's happened, she probably has a hard time believing it.

You shake your head. “No, she can't seem to be able to communicate. But I can definitely feel her presence there... we're still linked at a primal sort of level. My sister's instincts and feelings come across loud and clear even if she can't speak.”

“What does this even mean?” Cima persists as she too grapples with the implications. “I mean, what do you do now?”

“If she's alive, then the situation can be improved,” you insist firmly. “She's family, and if there's even a chance she can have her own life back I'll do whatever it takes to make it happen.”

“But you have no real plan?”

“I have a plan,” you sigh, “and it's the same as it always was: survive. Help out wherever we can, and hope to stumble across the right opportunity at the right time and seize it.”

“That's your plan?” Cima asks, furrowing her brow as she tries to find some hidden depth to your 'strategy' despite the fact that there's never been anything of the sort.

You decide to save her the time. “That's right. We don't have a specific solution because we can hardly define the problem. We newtypes may know from a practical standpoint how our own abilities work, but that doesn't always extend to the science behind a given situation. This is that sort of situation.”

“Do we report this?” Rossweisse frowns to herself. “It sounds so...”

“Incredible?”

Rossweisse shakes her head. “Insane. At least anyone who doesn't know you personally will think so.”

With a shrug, you finally manage to finish dressing. “Since when do I care? We're newtypes, most people already think we're insane.”

“I suppose you have a point.”

Just one room down the corridor is the dedicated conference space, really more of a glorified office pod with a massive computer bank resting behind a pre-fab wall. A screen is mounted to one side with a tabletop of polished hardwood below it, and sectional seating for three to five officers is provided wrapping around the conference table. More wall sockets than you'd even know what to do with are set into the walls and the table itself, for reasons that currently escape you. It's not like you have a cell phone to charge, and nobody comes in here to work so you're not going to be plugging a portable computer or tablet in.

But that's not important at the moment. What is important is that the monitor here is hooked up to a massive psycommu relay capable of harnessing newtype brainwaves to communicate to similar relays in real time. You asked Audrey April how that was even possible one time, and after a half hour of theoretical jargon and grade-school examples of the most basic principles she admitted that it might as well run on magic: because the brainwaves particular to newtypes seem to operate under their own set of rules.

If solar radiation, radio jamming, and M-particle interference don't matter, she told you, why would you assume distance does?

You immediately conceded the point.

“Well then, this is the stop,” Rossweisse announces, glancing into the conference room. “Now what?”

The main points here would be the recent mess with the Cuithe pirates, the rescue of Cima Garahau, and the likelihood of information that will only become available once the data stolen from Cuithe's computers can be properly analyzed. However there are other topics as well: the re-use of a Titans design, the return of your sister Catrina, the damage to the Lilium... hell, if there's an external reviewer listening in on your report Cima's rescue may turn into a political issue, and Catrina coming back may raise questions about your mental competence.

>Focus purely on the status update: action report, data analysis, and suggested new priorities.
>Add Cima's rescue and continued cooperation to your report.
>Offer the extra information that your sister is back
>Try and drop hints to the more sensitive details, but don't mention Cima or Catrina directly.

This Evo game is a continuation of a previous evogame, led by Richard. Fortunately, it was pretty uneventful so there won't be a lot of confusion on what species does what.

Now, for the (mostly copypasted) rules:
How to play:
! Open an image of a species in MS Paint, or your editor of choice
! Make one evolutionary change to that species
! Save as .PNG
! Post your species in this thread and explain what you added and why.
! Indicate the generation, size and diet of your species(Only generation and size for plants). Starting species are gen 1.
! Do not make your evolutions too drastic or silly.
! Have fun

Other info:
! Unless stated explicitly, no species ever goes extinct. Old species can still evolve, even if they're not on the latest "chain"
! Try to make your evolutions gradual and realistic in biological standards.
! Every so often a World Event will happen. Extinction Event is a possible type of World Event.

The setting: the planet is fully covered in water, although it will not be long before land appears. Currently species can only live on the ocean floor or swim.

Species №1: Sojojo
A creature that swims by contracting and expanding. It has spikes to defend itself.
Eats plankton.

The line at the horizon clearly tells apart sky from ocean. The water sparkles, like a big
mirror for the sun. It's a sunny day, a rare occasion.

"Is it working yet? Is it working? Come on, my back is melting."

Automatically, you turn from the blissful sight towards the small speaker over the desk,
taking in the relative darkness inside the Himehorn Support Center.

"No. Not yet." says the broken horn Leader, playfully throwing a grape up and down, up
and down, until it bounces against her nose.

"Awwwwwwwwwwww fuuuuuuuuuuuck!!...."

Yet from the giant framed window, the light still makes its way, blocked only by the frames and
the small tower of monitors in front of the himehorn. Fortunately, you can see above it.
Even if barely.

"Hey hey Roomba, is it working yet?"

"Not yet, Ado." You shake your head. "Sorry!"

You allow yourself a glance at the pretty scenery as Ado mumbles and grumbles
around the Greathorn's big and bizarre anthena. Earlier, you gave the broken horn
Leader a small white top tank to wear against the heat despite the vent system. As her
forehead sweats, thinking about Ado at the terrace makes you cringe.

"...Hornfuck, talk to me. I need it." It's Ado's voice across the static.

"What kind of cake do you like?" Says, neutraly, the broken horn Leader.

"Cold cake! The one with all the icecream! Or maybe it's just this fucking heat!" Ado's voice
comes out between small gasps. "Funny that you mention that. I used to put spring traps
under ice cakes at the caves, the hornmothers were so fixed on the cakes that they never
saw the fucking wire going out." He laughs. "Man, fuck karma! Mina always got fucking
mad at that, cuz well, she was the one doing the cakes. For the himmies. And I gave it to
them. Haha, fuck them!" Ado gasps some more. "Is it working yet?!"

"No." You both say at the unison.

"FFFFFFUCK." Ado goes silent for a while. All you hear is dim noises, faint curses, and
metallic clanks every now and then.

"You know, I've always felt guilty about that!" His voice breaks the silent, as the broken horn
Leader throws the small red ball at you. You catch it, then aim at her. "She was so sweet,
you know! There were these guys, like priests, like magic voodo or some shit, I dunno, and
she was like a priestess or something. And they were really friends with the himmies, and
the himmies liked them. Kind of a cult, fuck If I know." He stops to gasp. "But man, was she
sweet! And she used to wear that ceremonial weird long shit."

"Until she met you." The hornmother catches the ball with a single hand.

"Even when she was mad. You could SEE the fucking fire in her eyes, but she tried so hard,
man, so fucking HAAAARD to be a saint! To be "patient"! To be "serene"!!" He emphatises
each word, with feeling. "I think I was just bullying the hornmothers to bully her by proxy,
in the end." This time it's not a gasp; but a sigh. "Maaaan, where did the cute go?! Is this
fucking radio working yet?! Just what is wrong with it?!"

"I do have to admit I'm wondering," You scratch your cheek in thought. "what is Mina of you?"

"We never fuck, if that's what you're asking." you hear across the dim static. "It's like
brothers and sisters, only way fucking worst, man FUCK TH-"

A loud "clank!" makes you flinch; a small, pausing sound draws your eyes and the radar
is working.

"It is working now, thank you very much." the broken horn Leader states.

You hear a faint breathing sound.

"WHYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?! WHY AM I SO FUCKING AWESOMEEEE??!"

...that must be Ado screaming at the winds. Regardless, you take the small cup at the desk
and take a sip, glancing at the small himehorn sitting at the big black chair. Her hair does
seem a bit messy; maybe you should get the brush.

Also, OH THE NOSTALGIA!

Can we wake up? Or do we have to continue our blissfull memories? Resulting in the painfull awakening that BHL is DIRTY FROM EATING STRAWBERRY CAKE, WHICH GOT ON HER ROBE, RESULTING IN AN INDEFINITE AMOUND OF VACATION DAYS!

Ado was a bully-cakeist?

There's some kind of air in everyone this morning as everybody starts to polish and clean their tanks. For once, everyone actually seems pretty excited for the match tomorrow. Even you can't help but feel some anticipation for it.

Just the idea of finally getting that clean sweep and tying things up with J. Walter Christie Polytech. It's nerve wracking but the idea of it is just giving you hope.

You quickly say goodbye to your crew and exit out the hangar with Denise. Thankfully, today she has her Kettenkrad. “Hi, hi, Ellie!” You step aboard onto the back, smiling at her. “Ready to go to work today?”

“Yep.” You lean back against the seat. “You?”

“Ready!” She grins happily, handing you a thermos of coffee. “Still, you look excited. I bet the match must seem like an easy sweep tomorrow, huh?”

You are Grau Himmel, first year student in Haven Academy, leader of team GNJR, and descendant of a long line of Hunters and Huntresses. You are currently in your first day of classes and sparring against a Faunus student named Brennan Arctos. You both started off trying to put each other under suppressing fire, and now the time to trade blows has begun.

You hear the machine pistol Brennan's using go 'click' a few times. He grunts and switches it back to the large survival knife it started out as and charges at you, keeping his body low to the ground before swinging the blade up.

But it is possible that as the quest continues on, you will find what idea of a plot would be. Alright then, let's start the story!

So, you are doing homework early before you went to school, is that right? You had a project to do before the deadline on a Wednesday with your buddies.

But as you had finished your homework before running out the door to start the day simple and clean, something was glowing through the mirror.

Will you check this unexpected glowing on the mirror before heading out to school?

"Monkey Man the strongest." They say in unison only making your smile wider.

"You can die now.
Enjoy."

It's hard to tell just what's going through Aizens head upon hearing these words as his form has been distorted beyond recognition.
The only indication of his current emotional state is a single drop of tear rolling down from his functioning eyeball.

You gaze long and hard into the Hogyoku and sigh with relief now that you tied up that loose end as well.
After pocketing the gem you flick your finger and the portal to the Garganta opens up before you.
Looking back at what you wrought fills you with a sense of accomplishment as you step into the infinitely stretching abyss.
The last thing you see is the teary eyes of your former wife and your son. With a heavy heart you wave them before disappearing.

With a mixture of emotions still swirling inside you traverse the interdimensional plane as you form a path of reishi before you.
Your resurreción slowly begins to fade away while you walk and almost trip over holes and other lumps in the pavement.

"Looks like I overexerted myself."
You observe with a groan and heavy breathing.

The Garganta opens up before you and you step out with your legs shaking a bit and see Ichimaru and Yoruichi talking while Tatsuki, Rukia and Orihime are busy playing with Wiggles.
Strangely though you don't see any of the boys.

Gin looks up at you and speaks up.
"Ah we were just talkin' about you.
So how was it?"

You crack your neck before answering.
"The deed is done.
Aizen is not going to be a problem anymore."

He opens his eyes up for a brief moment in surprise.
"Really? Huh...
Didn't expect that."

"Yeah but if Marr didn't show up I would have been toast.
Speaking of which how did he show up back there?"

"Oh he just noticed that you disappeared and he quickly figured out why.
It's a shame I didn't get to see it. I bet it was fun."

"It was.
Marr went all out on him and destroyed Aizens spleen alongside the majority of the district we were in."

Gin whistles while Yoruichi changes the subject.
"So it's all over now?
The mastermind behind everything is dead?"

"Not necessarily but he won't be a problem anymore.
After utterly destroying him I gave him to Captain Unohana so the shinigami can sort their shit."

"That might have been a bad move."
Gin interjects.
"Never underestimate Aizen."

"Trust me after inflicting major damage onto him and beating his bankai we managed to pacify him quite well.
All I worry about now is the shinigamis incompetence to process him properly."

"I wouldn't worry about that."
Yoruichi speaks up.
"While normally Central 46 takes their sweet time with such procedures I imagine they'll deal with Aizen pretty swiftly."

"But... they are dead, aren't they?"
You ask.

"Trust me they'll be swiftly replaced.
Many nobles are ready to jump in and take those seats at a moments notice."

"For some reason I'm not too reassured that such an obviously flawed and corrupt system is so easily maintained.
But that's none of my business.
So... what happens now?"

Yoruichi entwines her fingers behind her back and straightens her posture.
"Who knows?
But as long as we are concerned things should calm down for us now that the Gotei has something else to mess with."

You look around and a few questions already come to your mind.

Last time:

“Yes, this is it. I’m its leader. What’s going on?” You ask.

The man salutes as you stand up, returning a lazy salute.

“Sir, the Colonel wants you and your team to report to a special briefing once the mobile suits are back to full working order.” He states.

You look back at your team and ask this messenger a question. “I don’t think one of my teammates will be ready in time with the mobile suits.”

“Err, yes, well, the Colonel says that if you wish to go on without him, you may pick a new, temporary member. I’m sure the other teams have backups, or at least, trained members in reserve. Your team is new, so there are no reserves in place yet I’m afraid.” The messenger responds.

You don’t like that idea at all. Dmitri has proven to be a solid and dependable team member in your short time here. At the same time, you are curious as to what the Colonel has up his sleeve that he would hold a special briefing, and if you were the only team invited…

All you do know, is that in just over a week at this base, you have encountered two things: You don’t get to sleep or finish a meal that often.

Hey, is this thing on? Phil, is this thing-Ok, this thing's on. So they can hear me, right? Yeah, ok. Ahem.

Howdy folks, Frankie Billiards here, captain of the (relatively) famous Junker ship the Eight-Ball. Course, if you're here, you already know that. What with having crawled into VR Pods by this point and all...

Right, let's get straight down to business. Y'all have different reasons for wanting to join my operations, and I'm not the prying type (I'm just assuming most of you just heard what the pay is and came down to apply). However, I do like to know that I can get a return on my investments, and I like it when people know how to do their job. To that end, my good friend Phil has hooked us up with a training program he's been tinkering with. At this point all of you should be in a Virtual environment, looking down on where you'll be landing soon.

As you know, the Eight-Ball is one of the best Junker ships in this quadrant of space (in my opinion) for a reason. That reason is that we take the jobs other folks don't want to. Let others tear derelict ships apart for scrap metal, damaging the precious cargo that was left inside. Let them space portions of the ship to get rid of dangers, and haul ships to a safe location. We don't need any of that razzamatazz. We pick our targets, we go in, deal with whatever's taken up residence inside, grab all the most valuable bits, then leave. In and Out, quick and easy.

That's what I'm gonna be testing you on. I'm told that this simulation is "highly realistic" and "as close to being on a ship as you can get without being there" and-Hm? What's that? No, you told me that it was... What? Glitchy? What's that supposed to... Ok. yeah, sure. Fine.

Ahem.

I'm told this simulation is "kind of realistic" and "Barring severe glitches, should just about almost reflect real life". The important part is that Phil is letting us use this for free, and I'm not one to pass up on free.

And don't go thinking 'Oh, it's only a game, I can die and not suffer any consequences'. I'm looking for how you'll actually be acting. You die in the game, your next paycheck dies in real life.

Alright, if you look to your left, you should see a menu pop up on your left. Pick the options on that that most closely resemble you, and you'll be loaded into the simulation in, what I'm told are "The best graphics that free can buy". As you're taking care of that, I'll be handling the debrief.

>Template: Please post this filled out when joining, and after every action.
[Name]
Hands: [weapon, item, whatever you're carrying in your hand]
Hands: [if you're carrying a second thing in your hands. This means two 1 handed things.]
Outfit: [What you're wearing]
Gear: [what you have in your gear slot. Anything in the gear slot can be used without it needing to be in your hands. This only extends to Gear though, not weapons.]

Inventory:

>Before every mission, Frankie will debrief the crew on their target, goals, and possible dangers.

>DEBRIEF
In this simulation you'll be getting off that landing craft you're seeing on the western part of the map onto the target Derelict.

For the purposes of this exercise, Paul's set up an almost pristine X12 "VoidSkipper" for you. That's an old Bellezu model people, and for those of you that don't know your ships, that means a small size, tight spaces, and high-quality engines. Unfortunately, as its pristine, that also means automated droid defenses mixed with pop-out turrets.

Usually when we find a Bellezu Derelict, the engines are priority number one, and that's how we'll be working today.

>OBJECTIVES:
You guys have three targets.
1-2: The Voidskipper has two engine rooms with an engine core each. Find those engine rooms, and grab the core from the engine. It's the important looking thing, you'll know it when you see it.
3: Bellezu are also known for being all over the place. This makes their flight data valuable. Find the cockpit, and download the flightdata. While you're there, feel free to access the ships main computer to look at its schematics. It won't tell you where threats might be,

Grab all three targets and bring them back to the shuttle for extraction. If you want to earn a bonus, there's also extra valuables in various places around the ship (check drawers, cabinets, cargo...). While you'll normally get to keep what you find outside the objectives, for the purposes of this here exercise, every valuable you bring back adds a point to the tally. Succeed with 10 points and I'll mark y'all down for a bonus to start.

All clear? No questions? Dial in your information then, and we'll be starting in a little bit.

>Please use the template above and image attached to create characters. If there are any questions about how this functions, what you can do, and so on, ask and I'll answer.
>We start in two hours, or when at least 5 people have signed up, Whichever comes first.

I'm not saying you CAN'T, but...

Well, let me put it like this.
Depressurize a room you're standing in, you might get thrown out into space, and without a rebreather, you'll start running out of air. Then if you don't have grav boots, you'll need to start chucking objects to move yourself back to the ship.

Point is, you might not exactly make it back. That and depressurizing a room breaks the nice, relatively fragile goodies we're going after. If you can get to them and secure them they'll survive, but anything else lootable is going right out.

Not to mention the red/yellow lines for blast doors that'll drop and limit passage when you do, or the fact that you need to make your way back to a regular door before you run out of air... My point is do what you think you should, just don't start crying when you get spaced.
Seriously. You'll waste what little air you got.

z( *o.o*) I know what you are thinking.
z( *`n`*) If this guy is a ghost type, where was he in halloween? Isn't that spooky time.
z( *>.>*) Does spooky get you friends? No trust me on this.
z( *o.o*) But December 5ths wholesome, nothing involving masks happened now!

Welcome to Hex Maniac quest, battles and skillchecks are variable and dependent on what is appropriate at the time.

You are Gurie, you were in a coffee shop one day pitying yourself and a weird pokemon in a pikachu costume asked you to be its friend.

You think you may be a magic girl now? Youp hope not, those never end well.

But there is more to you then that! Like...

>If you were to be honest, you aren't really a hex maniac! You just like the outfit, you are more of a... (Fill in/change pokemon type affinity)
> You are quite the weaver. You are great at making costumes. (Bonus to Coordinating, if you go that route)
> Your parent/s/guardian is pretty famous in the Pokemon Trainer Circuit, you got some of their skills, not a lot of them but...

(This is the character creator part of what is the spirtual ancestor of mimikyu quest. However mimikyu already got what he wants so the focus is switched to a more traditional Pokemon Quest. We don't know a lot about Gurie, help make her!)

Demons. Eldjötnar. Oni. Asura. Jinn. Monsters.

Whatever they are called, they now rule the world. On December 21st, 2012, the barrier separating Earth from what is now called the Eskathos ruptured, and these twisted creatures emerged from the Breach to gorge themselves upon the flesh and souls of humanity and sate their endless appetite for wrath, pride, envy, insincerity, falseness, boasting, and bellicosity.

Mad Wendigo spreads frozen wastelands and devours all those unlucky enough to cross its path. Radiant Lucifer spreads his devout cult of personality throughout the world. Jealous Andhaka abducts the wives of his despairing subjects. Two-faced Shezmu drowns northern Africa in orgies of wine and blood. Hidden Vucub-Caquix usurps day and night in South America. Arrogant Arachne weaves her monstrous fashion out of hair shaved from the heads of beautiful maidens. Evil-eyed Balor wages war and battle in Ireland and its neighbors to expand his kingdom.

Demons were not the only ones to return, however. Soon after the Breach opened, the Relics awakened their power. Only these men and women, mortal embodiments of divine weapons and tools, hold the power to match the forces of the Eskathos.

Excalibur and its Sheath arose first, followed by the Thunderbolt, the Tower of Babel, the Brahmastra, Gungnir, the Was and the Smoking Mirror.

The Relics defend human civilization and gather their strength until the day comes when they can lay siege to the Breach and assail the Eskathos itself.

You are one of them.

Commander Blumstein stands alongside your old boss, "King" Arthur. He's tall, blond and generally built like God hand-sculpted him for propaganda posters.

Arthur signed up for a duel of his own, so there are five other people with you in the room. Natsumi is directly to your right, followed by Mark O'Dale, whose Relic is the harp Uaithne, and Jean McGowan, who wields Gae Assail. Neil and Siobhan, who leans on Claiomh Solais, complete the line-up.

You're probably the weakest one here aside from the Commander when it comes to sheer killing power, and that's saying something.

"I didn't expect to see you here," you say to Natsumi. "How did you get roped into this?"

"The Commander asked for my help," she says. "One of the Fomorians uses fire."

"We need the best people on this mission," Arthur tells you all. "Balor has seven lieutenant. Together, they are capable of unlocking the seal on his Evil Eye. That's not something we want to happen. The ideal would be to kill them all, but even if we only get a few, that'll make it more difficult for them to unlock the seal. You've all been given your orders and you've all fought powerful enemies, so I won't take any more of your time. Good luck out there."

"Emergency evacuation will be available if you need it," the Commander says, "so don't throw your lives away."

The two bosses leave.

Mark is looking at you and Siobhan sideways, Jean is looking at you and Siobhan sideways, Neil is coughing awkwardly, Siobhan is very pointedly not looking in your direction and Natsumi is squirming, trying to figure out what's wrong.

Basically, this situation is very fucking weird.

- Just get to your duel.
- Talk to Siobhan.

You are in command over the Imperial Japanese Battleship Hyuga, starting at the very beginning of December 1941. Due to the will of players and that of the dice, history may go quite differently from what we know. For all intents and purposes, this is a wargame. It is incredibly important that you check the Pastebin link to familiarize yourself with the relatively simple dice mechanics, and to check it somewhat often as I may change important details of it as time goes on.

Last time on Hyuga Quest, it became quite clear that Midway is kind of like 'November Rain', by Guns N' Roses. It's a lot longer then I remember.

With Hiryu currently safe, but still heavily damaged, and your own ship damaged as well, there are a few options to be chosen as to how you move from here.

>Continue defending Hiryu
>Tactically retreat, with Hiryu following
>Move back in, risk your ship
>Retreat without Hiryu

Nice trips. If the rest of the battle plays out as in real life, we still lose 3 CVs though.

You sit in the large waiting room, breathing in harshly and checking your watch every few minutes. You're extremely nervous, and the huge glass window being the only thing keeping you from the empty void of space is not helping that much. You drum your fingers on the arm rest, waiting to be called in. Soon enough a well dressed woman steps out into the empty waiting room and motions for you to come over.

As you approach her she waves for you to follow, and so you do, into a small room with a chair and a computer terminal. You instinctively take a seat and the attendant makes sure everything is working and leaves.

A green text message appears.
Please wait, processing biological information

You feel a light pinprick into your wrist sitting on the arm rest, and you feel extremely drowsy, drifting off into sleep.

Now we create the character. Most of it will be dice rolls, usually 1d100 unless I specify otherwise.

Roll a 1d2 for gender (yes this is important)

Roll a 1d100 for financial and social background
0-25: You won this ship in a gamble, quite amazing you even knew how to get to this place, really.
26-50: You're a middle class citizen whose family saved up for generations to purchase a vessel
51-75: You're a wealthy planetary merchant but a single planet can only hold so many goods, you want more.
76-100: Heir to an unimaginablely large political family, your name carries much weight and can influence entire systems.

Roll 2d5 for positive and negative traits
Positive:
1. Lucky
2. Midas Touched
3. Intelligent
4. Charismatic

Negative
1. Greedy
2. Weak
3. Unlucky
4. Untrustworthy

Roll 1d6 for starting location
1. Sol Confederation
2. Jenik Insurrection
3. Betelguese Domain
4. Alpha Centauri Republic
5. Sirius Merchant Guilds
6. Unaligned Space

You're starting a shipping enterprise, but what do you seek to ship?
(Bulk, military goods, medical aid, illicit goods)

Dubs/trips hold precedent unless another post is seen more favorable.
1s, 5s, or 6s determine what post is used for the Char Gen
