That sounds amazing.
I don't think you have the skills to do it.
You wake in a dank cell. The room is tight and a a rough cut out in the wall serves as a crude window of sorts. The cell door stands menacingly in front of you, footsteps and muffled words are heard echoing the dark halls beyond.
What do you do?

You are Gunnar Erling and you have a dream. Not of one of becoming a great warrior or mage, not becoming a great leader or general, as most of your people, the Norden, would ply to become.
You want to own a rail empire in earnest, stretching from your hometown Wurzhof and across all of Rumenia.
Around thirty minutes ago, you just got funding to build the first railway in the region for Wurzhof Steel, the largest steel-maker in the city and it must be built by years end: 8 months.
Thankfully, the route is short, only 100 km but getting started will be hard as you don't have a workforce needed to build the rail line.
Your first order of business is to post ads in busy areas of the city to advertise employment but you have a thought, should you try to find managers first or manage it all yourself?
>Find managers first
>Manage it all yourself
>>776027
>Manage it all yourself
This will save us money, allow us to gain experience and otherwise be advisable for the short term. Once the line is running we can see about getting a few managers, though we will need to find a engineer and such for the train.
>>776241
You decide to manage everything yourself, mostly to gain some experience and to save money but only in the short term.
With the ads put up for work, you head home and get a good night of sleep.
Once up, you find your mailbox filled with at least 250 responses. Seems like the workforce needed will be easily attained.
---
As you head out for breakfast, you wonder if you should check out the route of the line first hand and maybe make a layout of how the railhead might be done, just in case expansion is needed.
You also could try and research what type of engine you should buy for the route.
Lastly, you muster up the thought of something you didn't really want to do but you must: you will eventually have to incorporate your business or else if something goes wrong, it's you who gets shafted.
You could choose to do any of these things or none at all and do something else.
>>776316
Let's go inspect the route, preferably after finding out about the different types of engine we could get. The route will effect the engine and the engine will effect the route.

Your name is Jim. Your occupation is being a bicycle courier on the big streets of London... or it was...
You see yourself cycling around a corner when - "Argh..!"
You wake up and clutch the side your head after releasing a sigh of pain. You see that you have ended up in a hospital, surrounded by expensive machinery... and are naked. You get dressed and begin to work your way out of the hospital. The hospital is trashed and empty and your yells of "Hello?" fall on no ears. Eventually, you leave the building and get out onto the street.
Cars are overturned, newspapers with headlines such as "OUTBREAK!" "EVACTUATION POINTS IN CORNWALL" blow across the pavements, posters that are attached on trees sway around in the light breeze, their contents displaying the faces of missing persons... And it's quiet... Silent... Desolate...
What would you like to do?:

You are Subject 108—"Whirlpool", sent with advanced technologies to fetch water for an isolationist civilization (on Earth, mind you). However you ignored the objective in favor of having your own adventure and you stumbled into exactly that on Cymbio IV. Since your arrival you've done nothing but wade deeper into the plot that seems to uncover the conspiracies behind the luxurious establishment of Resorcinol and the history of the "tribespeople" nearby. Within the span of three days you're already close to finishing what you started. Just a little more, it's time to finish this before retiring peacefully.

RECAP
The battle with the twin robots wasn't as difficult as you thought, thankfully. After dispatching them, Hamilton revealed his findings about Petroleum's past involvement and the history of their destination: the R&D District. The information prompted Betelgeuse to tell her side of the story, regarding her people's history. Upon arrival they were greeted by Petroleum and his two cohorts, somehow managing to arrive there earlier than your group. The situation was stacked against your favor as Petroleum has taken someone hostage: a long-lost relative of Errai's. Fortunately, you managed to save him by way of a clever gambit and his two cohorts (along with much of Grant's robots) were driven back on the defensive. Now all you have to deal with is the man who started this whole thing, and he just managed to activate his secret weapon. Once you've dealt with him, you can begin cleaning up after his messes

Your RIOT GUN-TONFAS are non-lethal but somehow you managed to destroy the remaining drones in the area. Luck must be on your side or something, some of those look like they are meant to fight entire tanks. Petroleum is distracted by the sight of his remaining forces simply fall apart, causing him to pause from whatever he's trying to do.
>"Alright cat-lady, if you keep this up you'll get a penalty, I just gotta...huh...this is harder than I thought."

Nicotine asks Elisabeth why she is working for Petroleum as the maid tends to the wounded one.
>"Uh, I'm not Elisabeth, I'm someone else. However I would gladly answer your question. We were hired to be maids for his private estate in the Management District. However he made it very clear that he preferred those with lots of miscellaneous skills. It just so happened that all of us have fighting experience one way or another. This lady here once fended off a horde of zombies from her household."
>"Okay, so does she actually like the blundering palooka?"
>"No, it was strictly business for her, and now she has more of a reason to not even bother."

Sheng Hua Nan, carrying an unconscious Grant, rushes past the others and diligently avoids their attempts at catching him like an all-star football player.
Meanwhile Petroleum successfully activates the platform he's standing on with a forceful kick. The first thing it does is deploy a small turret to shoo him off.
>"Woah, looks like my superweapon has some attitude."
Afterwards it deploys into a ginormous machine with tons of weapons.
>"There we go, and just in time for the others to arrive."

Hamilton: Go to the security hub with betelgeise, errai, and your smartest colleague who is here and available. See if you can activate any ancient security measures put in place here - Lockdowns, turrets, robotic security fabrication lines, whatever might be available. If there are any offensive security measures, see if you can get them to target NONHUMAN ENTITIES, with priority on ARMED AND DANGEROUS NONHUMANS.
For the duration of this post, you are now Hamilton Cooper.
Whatever tricks Petroleum has to offer, you don't want to be caught off-guard again. You tell the others to follow your lead and turn towards a different hallway shortly before arriving at the atrium from earlier.
>"Wait! Grant and the other guy went that way back to Petroleum, why are you leading us through here?"
You explain to Rigel that you're heading towards the SECURITY HUB in another room. Although you haven't seen it in action, you're sure this place has defense systems on the off chance that something might be happening. Eventually you reached the aforementioned room and, predictably, no one's there. Wow, a lot more hazmats went upstairs than you thought. You consider getting Betelgeuse to help out but it's possible that she never had any experience due to living somewhere else for most of her life. She could try to learn now but you don't have that kind of time. Lucky for you, Flubber is familiar with this.
>"Don't worry, I think I'm familiar with this."
The two of you figure out how to prime the facility's security systems, setting the filter to prioritize HIGH-THREAT NON-HUMAN ENTITIES. Switching the screen to look at the security camera footage, you see Petroleum's contraption finally unleashing itself. Damn, just in time too.
As you finish punching in the requisite commands, the footage shows the weapons platform retaliating against its surroundings. Betelgeuse is mortified at the sight.
>"No! Our objective! Hamilton, you must disable the defense system and protect the facility from critical damage!"
Hmm, this is tough to consider but she does raise a point. The autonomous weapons platform is destroying the laboratory (or at least, that one room in particular). Turning the latter off would protect it from further damages but then it means you'll have to fight Petroleum and his forces again in person.

Nice try, Satan.
Welcome, boys and girls, to Demon Overlord Quest. Just as a heads-up, the openig I prepared is a bit writefaggish, so bear with me while I turn this bad boy out.
OVERLORD DEAD!
The newspaper the Prinny hands you has the portrait of an old demon with dusty blue hair plastered over 80% of the front page. Investigating further reveals the Overlord of the Netherworld you live in, Potential X, passed away during the aftermath of a failed coup d'etat. Overlord Ghraanus tripped over the corpse of yet another would-be usurper and fell down all 40,000 steps of the staircase leading to his luxurious throne.
Ouch.
But this isn't bad news to you! Now that the old man is out of the way, you, a young demon with strong abilities have the opportunity to take the throne and ascend to your rightful place as Demon Overlord of Potential X!
And actually, the newspaper addresses that! Well, not your name or you in particularly, but all powerful young demons with ambitions (or delusions) of glory and fame. A series of tests of power and skill will be held at the palace. How convenient!
(Con't)

>>And actually, the newspaper addresses that! Well, not your name or you in particularly, but all powerful young demons with ambitions (or delusions) of glory and fame.
So the newspaper thinks we aren't powerful, young, or a demon with ambitions or delusions of glory and fame?
I think the first stop is not some dumb palace tournament, but the newspaper hq. That place gotta burn.
You scramble to the Palace as fast as your demonic legs can carry you. Luckily by the time you arrive, the line outside is still fairly short. Of course that doesn't necessarily mean this is going to be easy. You try to make small talk with the tall blonde demon in front of you, but they ignore you. It seems he isn't here to make friends.
"Next, dood!" A Prinny cries out and the line moves forward.
"This is taking forever, dood. Can't we speed this up a bit?" Another, bored sounding Prinny complains loudly back to the first one.
"Not unless you want to make the Master upset, dood. Personally, dood, I don't want to lose a whole decade's salary just because you're impatient!" You can almost hear the Prinnies shudder from way back at the end of the line.
Finally, you reach the front desk. Two Prinnies are sitting at a hastily decorated folding table. A poorly spelled sign reading "AWDISHUN SINE-UPS" is taked to the front. The bored-looking Prinny pipes up first.
"Thanks for participating inthe Potential X Potential Overlord tryout slash tournament. Before you join the other contestants, please fill out this form, dood."
"C'mon! Say it with a bit more fire, dood!" The angry Prinny sitting next to Bored Prinny critiques. Bored Prinny just sighs heavily.
"It doesn't matter, dood. They're the last one. This is the last space on the clipboard, dood."
You ignore their prattling and take the pen in you hand.

No need to feel bad OP, sleep's important!
reporting in.
You peer over the edge of the building, watching Akemi intently. You were sent here to learn how to hunt these things, so you might as well pay attention. You can feel Kia focusing as well, through your connection.
Akemi lunges forward, bringing Daisuke, transformed into a crowbar, in a wide diagonal arc aiming for the misshapen creature's head.
What did she call the thing? Dahmer, like the cannibal? Odd...
The bloated figure brings an arm up with unnatural swiftness, catching the brunt of the strike on it's forearm, before lashing out with the other arm, knocking Akemi back. She slides across the pavement, dragging Daisuke to slow down faster.
"This bastard is faster than he looks. All right, new tactic!" You can hear Akemi's voice from here. She launches herself at the monster again, but from much higher, flipping once and bringing the crowbar in a hammer blow at Dahmer's head.
Of course, the monster blocks the strike, similar to before, but Akemi is ready. She hooks the clawed end of her weapon into the beast's arm, using her momentum to fly in a sharp curve into it's back, and drives her foot against it's spine. You can almost feel the impact from your perch, a sickening CRUNCH filling the air. The hooked end of the crowbar tears through muscle as the Kishin Egg is launched into a wall. You can see the spot on it's back where Akemi hit it.
"See that? That's what you can do with just your own wavelength! Now, let's kick into high gear! Soul Resonance!"
You can see Akemi adopt an almost ninja-like stance, putting two fingers up in front of her nose, and holding Daisuke out horizontally. Kia mutters, "I wonder if that's just for show, or if the pose helps?"
Might want to ask about that at some point. Could be useful.
You can see what appears to be green electricity start coursing through and around Daisuke, until he suddenly SHIFTS into a new form: He is still the same shape, but the flat end of the crowbar now has what looks like a wicked set of spikes that point inward, like... fish hooks?
Akemi points this end towards Dahmer, who is turning to face her, finally. It's arm is torn to shreds in one place, and it seems to have trouble standing upright...
You feel something is about to happen. There, in the corner of your vision, behind Akemi. Something is moving.
>Jump down, intercept it
>Chuck Kia at it, preemptive strike!

You are Sonia Reynard, Viscount of Rioja and its surrounding trade lanes. Protector of the Smuggler's Run and the DRH 1 Nav Relay. It's been weeks since you helped to defeat an invasion attempt by House Nasidum. The remains of smashed fleets still litter region with the wrecks of thousand ships.
Salvage efforts are still underway but have cleaned things up considerably. They'll probably continue for some time.
Efforts to return captured heavy and super heavy warships to service continues. The Forbearance yard has finished integration of newly arrived equipment you got from the Alliance. The first of the three Mega class ships you crippled in the fighting are now being refit to new specifications. With six siege weapon scale turrets their firepower will rival that of even the newest Alliance ships once completed.
The Navigators Guild is relieved that you and your allies have re-opened the connection to the Centri cluster to civilian traffic. After being cut off for so long by fighting, blockades or damage to key stations it will take some time for normal trade to resume. With the Civil War still raging many companies may decide to simply avoid the region.
It has allowed a more substantial flow of reinforcements from the major houses. Several of the vassal states of the Ruling House, Ber'helum and Helios have sent fleets and large contingents of ground troops to assist in the capture of remaining worlds in the DRH 2 Relay. It's becoming a bit of a land grab at the moment and you're glad your House was able to cash in early.
The fighting next door and Baron Winifred's use of the latest built RSS Heavy Cruiser has brought additional attention from prospective buyers. Ultimately their firepower is reliant upon weapons from House Helios which means only Houses with good relations are showing strong interest.
Reminder: Suptg link in OP has been changed. Old link will allow people to vote on /tg/ threads but not /qst/ threads. New link is the other way around.
Your advisors and key commanders of your military:
Knight Captain Katherine Drake is your fleet's Wing Commander. She has been working to help rebuild the attack squadrons in the aftermath of the fighting. Personnel losses were low among the attack units. Until more ships are repaired or built she's dealing with having more crews than ships for them. For now crews are rotating for patrols.
Knight Captain Kim Yu Chung is overseeing minesweeping efforts. Tens of thousands of mines were laid during the enemy invasion to trip up their fleet and many are left over. Recovering them will not only make space lanes safer for salvage teams, but replenish your badly depleted warhead stockpiles. Work on this is nearing completion.
Uyi Rna, the General of your Army, has returned after personally overseeing the troops fighting in the DRH 2 relay. The General seems quite pleased you've promoted as many prospective Knights as you have.
Wiremu Tama is the Admiral of your Fleet.
Fadila Saqqaf is your leading diplomatic adviser.
C.F. Vanderwal is a former House Erid noble now serving with your intelligence division as part of his parole.
Chide Dlam'ard, the Governor of Rioja is working to restructure the local economy, keeping it afloat until normal trade resumes.
Knight Commander Myrish Avun, formerly of House Sulos, has joined your fleet leading elements that defected from her House. Intel is still going through the long process of vetting her people. For now her Talos Heavy Carrier is crewed by a mix of her own personnel and some of yours that have served aboard the Majestic.
While you have vouched for Avun, negotiations between the Knight and Count Jerik are still ongoing. Eventually the Avun will have to go to the House capital if they're to ever become a Baron of your House.
You're currently attending a ball celebrating the return of your army and victory against the Nasidum invasion attempt.

"It's ready."
You stand weakly. The monks had already drawn much of your blood to prepare the necessary ink for your seal. On waking up, you were told some of the council of monks had fainted on seeing your design, while others began to pray right there and then. You'd made what was believed impossible, what did not even exist hours before.
Now, to apply it.
The young monk, finally introduced to you as Chiriku, stands in the shaded stone doorway to your cramped guest bedroom. He and Rin will be assisting the monk Tai mentioned before in applying the tattoo seal.
You stand with a struggle from the cot. Chiriku guides you down the halls, but stops you outside a stone door.
"The frailty of your constitution is a subject of great concern among the monks, Amon. The procedure will be long, a day at least, and it will be painful. Historically, it was suggested the chakra of the one to be sealed should be disrupted for the entirety of the procedure...but nothing quite like this has been done before. If we did that here, you would invariably die from the collective stress and trauma your body has undergone.
Rather, we have decided to position our own monks in the room to stifle any sort of attempt at possession by the spirit within you. Should this fail...we would suggest one of your companions be prepared to restrain you until a seal can be made."
"Who will you choose to stand guard?"

"Go to your reward, you shall find it quite welcoming I think." He says with a smile, "I am proud one so young as you was able to challenge me in this ancient art and moreso, defeat me. I shall rest easy, knowing civility lives on in this world through you." He bows in the most submissive manner he can, going to his knees and resting his forehead on the ground.

Edgequest: Get Over It #4
an Over the Edge inspired quest

The Story So Far:
You are Marie Kingston, a bartender with sticky fingers and somethign like a spider sense. Five years ago your cousin Darron disappeared while doing some unknown cybersecurity work. You tracked him down to the Edge, a strange city on an isolated island. Since you've arrived, you've met a bunch of weirdos and found out that Frank, a former employer of your cousin's has been secretly helping you out. On your way back to your hotel room to get drunk with Kim Sommers, a performance artist who also knew your cousin, you were surrounded by a gang of weird satanists who wanted you to meet someone. FOr some reason, you went along with it. Now you're in the back seat of a black limosine, Kim is next to you tied up and unconcious, and you're enjoying a nice drink while talking to a friendly, refined, and genuinely creepy gentleman.
Contacts:
Italo, a taxi driver, you have his card
Esa Main, a young unkempt moody looking man, or woman... hard to tell. Runs the Forrester front desk and is always drawing in a sketchbook. Has what he calls an "electric memory" and doesn't forget what he sees. He remembers your cousin.
Kimberly Summers, "a desperate college student from Darbane University is up next trying to make this months tuition". Also a performance artist who knew your brother. Member of the Alpha Rio Theta sorority. "vegan". Currently tied up and unconscious.
Frank, owner of Sad Mary's, overly connected and too well informed to just be a man running a bar, strip club, and underground fighting ring.
Hulk Smash, inquisitive and friendly member of a gang of satanists. His tattoos mix pentagrams with anime characters.
Thug1, Hulk's assistant and muscle. He grunts.
Clues (Things you might want to look into later or follow up on)
-Weird dude in a cherokee headdress with a badge saying SNS on it who works at The School of the Original Sensation, in a picture with your brother.
-The School of the Original Sensation, a consciousness raising educational facility that runs classes at 10, 2, and 6 on weekdays, taught primarily by Ben Windfeather and Daryush Madari, the founder of the school.
-Darron Kingston. Your cousin. Works in Cybersecurity. Likes guns. Disappeared five years ago until you found a picture of him on an obscure internet forum. Turns out he used to be a high class courier as well as a fighter at Sad Mary's. So far everyone on the island seems to have known him.
-The Black Car. Kim is terrified of it. It has a really expensive skull hood ornament. The satanist gang seems connected to it. The man you're meeting in it makes pretty good cocktails.
Corpses:
So far, none that you know of.

Your Traits (the signs revealing that they exist):
Bartender (talk about liquor, able to pay attention to multiple things at once, look like you sleep in and stay out late)
Stick Fingers (has a bunch of credit cards without her name on them and a pock full off pilfered odds and ends she barely noticed taking)
Something Like Spider Sense (all your clothes are rip and stain free despite spending lots of time in dingy bars and rough areas)
Mysterious Weakness (everyone seems to know who you are lately)
Stuff You Have (most of which is back in your hotel room):
Light weight travel bag on wheels
a change of clothes: white t-shirt, jeans, sneakers

A note on how I'm QMing this:
This is Over The Edge updated using some PbtA merchanics.
Most actions roll 2d6 adding bonus and penalty dice. If you have one bonus die, you roll 3d6 and pick the two highest. Penalty dice pick the lowest.
You get bonus dice from your traits as well as your situation.
I'm running on a longer interval than most quests. I try to check in every hour or two like a high speed play by post so I can run this while working.
Feel free at any time to toss in questions, votes, suggestions for actions, etc. I'll work them in.
Ok. Now I'm writing.

Sure the man in the limosine is weird, but who have you met in the Edge that isn't? At least this time he's being friendly and at least pretending to tell you what he wants up front. The man is pale, wears an expensive tailored suit, and soft white gloves. He has a crushed velvet leopard spot vest under his jacket and eyes that seem lifeless. His skin is smooth, well maintained, and pale but you can see the healed cracks of age that don't completely vanish. Most people wouldn't notice. He pours himself a drink smoothly, the contents of the glass not shaking even as the limosuine drives over the cracked parts of the road.
"So your cousin is why you'er here, eh? Well that's fascinating. Fascinating. You may not realize it but you've been a busy busy bee since you've arrived on our little island. Organized crime, brainwashing, even mystic weirdness. You may not have realized it but you've seen it all." He nods at Kim. "You didn't think she was a nobody did you? She's not 'somebody' but she is 'something worth noticing.' She performed at a party of mine once. I'm pretty that if she isn't a golem she's a broken doll from one of my rival's experiments." He stops talking to take a sip of his drink.
"You just tossed a lot of words together to make yourself sound like you know stuff."
He laughs. "It wouldn't be the first time someone has made that claim and I'll admit that in days past I certainly did fake such knowledge. But that isn't the case.
You've wandered into a most wonderous land, Alice, and no one seems to have bothered to explain the rules of it to you. I'd like to be your guide. I guess that makes
the Cheshire Cat? Too bad I can't turn invisible. That would be fun. I always like that turning into just a floating smile trick."
"You're not making sense right now," you say.
"Sorry. You're right. A little clarity is in order. I'm to teach you the rules of this place. The first thing to understand is that there aren't any. It's all here.
It's all true. Everything. Magic. Weird science. Ghosts. Clones. Aliens. Interdimensional gambling cyborgs. All the world's great and secret masters come here to
vacation, plot, and have fistfights. That's the mess that your cousin was mixed up in. That's probably what got him killed." He takes a breath.
"Wait. Dead? Are you sure?"
(cont)
"Can we go home yet?"
"No."
You continue to push the girl further and further into the wilderness.
"But it's late."
"I don't care."
The forest almost seems to extend upward, and grasp at the moon.
"-And I can't see my hand in front of my face."
"Then don't look."
You are Yuuki Kuchinashi, the hero of the distant lands of Bruschetta.
You're also on a mission, and you won't let whining or incompetence stray you away from the path this time.
"Can we at least take a rest?"
Oh for crying out loud.
"We're almost there, right? How much further?"
"I don't know, a mile?"
"We'll cover that in a few minutes."
-Where were you? Oh yes.
Today, you're out in the middle of the wilderness at the dead of night daftly searching for a missing scoundrel.
Okay, maybe that doesn't sound like the most sane thing to do, but you have your reasons.
Earlier, someone took control of a much younger person than you using some-kind-of-magic-you-don't-know-what. When you went to question that younger person's guardian about it; they deflected the blame to a completely different person.
When you came back to check on that guardian, she was gone.
So, now, you're in a tough spot. You can't just say 'forget about her' and return empty-handed. That guardian also took someone very important to Kayda. Without that someone; Kayda could very well die within a few weeks.
A few weeks seems like a long time, but it also gives Clair a long time to find a place to hide and never come out.
Besides! You got a cunning detective to show you the way! Someone who managed to find where Clair was going even before she went there!
Isn't that righ-
"Ohhh, I can't go on!" She jumps off her mount and starts to slow down on-foot. "Just a few minute break, okay? I need to stand up!"
>No.
>Get back on.
>Pffft OKAY FINE! Five minute break!
>Okay, you set up camp for the night. I'll just run ahead and attack this place.
>Just tell me where it is.

We're super strong, just carry her ass.
"Eclipse Phase is a tabletop roleplaying game of post-apocalyptic transhuman conspiracy and horror.
An "eclipse phase" is the period between when a cell is infected by a virus and when the virus appears within the cell and transforms it. During this period, the cell does not appear to be infected, but it is.
Players take part in a cross-faction secret network dubbed Firewall that is dedicated to counteracting "existential risks" — threats to the existence of transhumanity, whether they be biowar plagues, self-replicating nanoswarms, nuclear proliferation, terrorists with WMDs, net-breaking computer attacks, rogue AIs, alien encounters, or anything else that could drive an already decimated transhumanity to extinction."
The above is the official description of Eclipse Phase offered by it authors on their website. This quest will be set in that universe but will not explicitly follow the rules of the system nor its expectations for the players.
Let's all begin by creating our protagonist, (You). Here's some things I can say about (You) right now:
-You are a survivor of the Fall. Like most of transhumanity, you are old enough to remember the apocalypse and are presently an adult.
-You have a body - a biomorph, in fact. It is not the body you were born with, but it is based on your flat (unmodified natural human).
-You are female. Despite what most of your contemporaries may think of the fixation of such a "bioconservative" concept as sex and gender, you were born a female and have always been a female.
-You are currently employed on a contract in deep space.
But there's a lot that we don't know about (You). For one thing, there's your name. For another, there's the question of where you came from.
Let's see if we can't clarify those issues.
Please write in or vote for a name and select a background.
>Fall Evacuee - You were born and raised on humanity's homeworld, the now ruined planet Earth. This gives you more Moxie than most. (better than average luck)
>Lunar Colonist - You grew up in one of the cramped dome cities of Earth's moon, and had a ringside seat to the Fall. You actually held down a real job for a while as a psychosurgeon. (bonus to psychosurgery and psychology)
>Martian - You're from Mars, the present "capital" of the Inner System and thus transhumanity, and also the true home of hypercapitalism. Understandably, you know how to interact with hypercorps and the Old Economy better than most. (bonus to networking with hypercorps and starting C-Rep)
>Zero One G - You are a first generation space colonist, and have lived the vast majority of your life on board habs and ships. The benefits of being accustomed to this lifestyle in 10AF cannot be understated. (better than average physical skills and piloting)
>Isolate - You grew up in a community that wanted nothing to do with transhumanity at large. You've learned to be "self sufficient." (large bonuses to programming and infosec/hacking)

Oh shit, son! It’s Back!
It’s The Island! The one thread quest where you die! A lot!
Pick your selection from the image attached, one choice per post, and generate us a character to fly or fall in spectacular fashion.
This is a rogue-like, so with each post roll a 2d10; the first is a priority roll (Who’s post gets picked), while the second is how successful you are in accomplishing your request. Three failed rolls in row will net you some serious penalties, and four in a row mean your death. Good luck.
Let’s get busy!
