I need some advice /o
I have the chance to buy a 1991 Ford Bronco, pic related, for $800
It has the 302, but it was taken out of the car because the 8th piston lost compression.
The guy who took the engine out didn't label any of the bolts to where they're supposed to go.
Should I go for it /o? I'd buy a crate engine and throw it in. The body and frame are in very good condition.
I'll post a pic of the engine in this thread.

Is there anything more pathetic than a 3-series owner? It's like the guy that buys a fake rolex just to seem like he's wealthy. You can literally buy them CPO for $20k directly from BMW...with 0.9% financing. No wonder all these know-nothing teenie boppers are driving around with them...yuck
Now that we got that out of the way, one of my friends recently bought a 2014 328i and I've been driving it on occasion and I can't help but notice the transmission in this thing is fucking awful. The throttle response is super laggy in first gear. I did some quick Googling and it looks like this is fairly normal and is a result of some "adaptive" transmission that fits your driving style or some shit. But I have noticed that when coming to a stop, the engine downshifts and it's surprisingly abrupt and jerky. There is no revmatching, it feels like someone just slammed it into second from third and then just dropped the clutch. It doesn't happen everytime, but I have literally never felt this from an automatic transmission in any auto car except this one.
Any of you guys have some advice?

/o/, are there some cars that are just automotive abortions?
Pic-related, I think Chrysler fucked up with the Plymouth Prowler. They didn't have the money to develop 2 custom American cars that were so drastically different from everything else they made at the same time, and it shows. So much of the Prowler is good ideas done badly, or bad ideas done well, like the front wheels. Chrysler should've spent all the money they spent on the Prowler making the PT Cruiser a real luxury wagon.
What cars do you think should've been killed on the drawing board?

visibility is always an issue. Good luck ever having to look over your shoulder because its very difficult to see. It also feels like a very wide car partly because you can't really "feel" how big the back end is.

Alright now that I have a schedule that I can rely on lets get a late night cruise going through the Ortegas. I see all these meets and cruises but they are always during traffic hours. Lets do something where we can have fun and not bug anyone on the roads.

The plan is to meet at the parking lot, cruise up to the "Narrow Bridge" by the Fire Station, than cruise up to Lookout Road House than cruise back to the fire station. Rinse and repeat until bored.
If anyone is from the I.E. you can drive over to us and spot to see if any cops are on the road or you can just meet us at the lookout (probably be there by 1030/11pm)
