Better.
Visited the Porsche store today and test drove a few 911 variations and ultimately enjoyed a lot of them. But I did have a few concerns especially if it's going to be my daily driver.
Concerns such as:
- Winter and snow (I live in Canada)
- Small storage space (I carry some big bags for work)
- Ability to be an all year car
Can any 911 drivers shed some light?
>>17422937
the only concern you should have, mark, is that your 911 is slower than a fucking camero.
just, let that seep in.
just.. let it be known, your car is a pieve of shit compared to a camero.
>>17422954
>997
>991.2
are you fucking retarded?
>>17422954
Why would I care about that especially with a 2 second difference? I'm not a track or race car driver...
Well /o/ poorfag with a decision. Should I keep my 1997 Mustang GT (PI swapped heads and intake, EGR delete, Flowmasters) or trade it for a guys 1989 Mustang GT. Now i love Foxbodies as much as the next guy, but damn this 97 has been good to me. And yes, both are manuals. (Pic related, the 97)
The fox
Honestly it boils down to how you like the look. I prefer foxbodies over SN95's because I like how 80's retro styling is. Having OBDII is nice, but I've found the 5.0L a lot easier to take care of and fix as opposed to the 4.6L.
Did this person offer the trade?
If so, that is kinda sketchy and may imply that their fox has some expensive repairs that need done relatively soon.
In your opinion, what era had the worst aesthetic designs (domestic and import)? Any models that you think are particularly bad?
Personally, I think that the mid 70's to mid 80's domestics are the worst. Those boxy, pseudo-thirties body styles are just terrible. My most hated styling cues are the faux radiator-esque grilles and the terrible looking bustle back sedans. Cadillac was probably the worst offender.
>not liking the malaise era Seville
Shit taste, desu.
I wanna say that the late 90s and early 2000s produced the blandest cars of all time.
>>17422366
90s-2000s was such a timid era for car design.
No one wanted to stand out when designing a car.
>>17422351
Really all cars have shit designs. I would have to say that the 70s land barges are probably the ugliest.
Newish manual driver here.
What does it mean when I'm driving aroun and the car is decelerating, and it sort of bucks back and forth?
Like if i'm decelerating from 4000 rpm in second gear, some times around 2000 rpm the car will sort of jerk back and forth. What is this? While low in the range, the car shouldn't be lugging or anything under the deceleration right? Especially noticeable in traffic.
Also, sometimes when I'm coasting, and I gently apply the throttle (or not) the car will buck the same way when I go to accelerate away.
This happens even if I'm in the powerband, not lugging.
What's happening? Is it bad for the car? I've just been letting it happen.
Car is a 2017 WRX STI
Not enough torque. Probably leaking headgaskets.
Is this bait?

Why are American cars so shit at everything? I thought America was supposed to be the home of the large displacement engine, why can't they even get their own specialty right?

Yah, it's fiction and all, but that would be pretty sweet yo
>tfw always put on my seatbelt when I got into a car (driver or passenger) ever since I was a 4 year old
Either because I'm a good boy (goy) or because there was this girl whose mom came in for career day in 3rd grade and she told us that working as an EMT she'd seen people not just fly through the windshield in car accidents but people (without their seatbelts) would fly vertical through the fucking roof
Never knew if that was true or not but Texas has that fucking "U BETTER CLICK IT 'ER TICKET, BOY" shit going on so I never forget to buckle up.

30 years ago. The fastest car in the states was a V6. Its come full circle.
Why do they market it as a top tier supercar when it is just a Ferrari 488 GTB/Lamborghini Huracan LP610-4/McLaren 650 S competitor?
