Well price range is relative.
They can be really expensive and stupid hard to find. Ive been reading about these cars for a long time and from what I gather the hardest part is just finding a clean one thats been taken care of. I can confirm this, especially living in the new england area.
I see a lot of people compare it to a miata. They say its more forgiving at the limits than an mr2, which I absolutely believe

N/A Rotaries that are properly maintained are very reliable.
Turbo rotaries less so, but that's mostly the because the FD wasn't designed with nearly enough cooling and heat shielding.

Because I'd have to remove my hardtop, the rear half of my soft top, sound deadening carpet, and finally an access panel to get to the engine
