Im gonna buy nitrous kit for around 1000 dollars.
Im from Europe so its easier to buy from UK based companies.
Right now its NX vs WON.

I'm helping my not-so-car savvy friend with his 2006 Honda Accord this weekend.

He said it just shut off white he was driving it this week. The car has 200k miles and he isn't sure when the spark plugs or transmission fluid were ever changed. These two were my guesses as to why the car shut off. But currently it has no check engine light on, and he stopped by pep boys and they said they couldn't see anything visibly wrong.

So we're gonna look at it this weekend. I was thinking of looking at (a) the engine air filter (b) the oil levels and (c) the spark plugs.

Any thoughts ideas?

Can you give us more info?

Did the dashboard lights stay on? Did the engine just stop running, or did it exhibit other behavior?

He said he had just left work and was going about 10mph and the engine shuttered a little bit, the check engine light came on, then the whole car shut off.

He had to coast to a stop, put it in park and crank it back up.

After he stopped at Pep, but not sure if those guys knew what they were doing. The tech was just like, "eh it was prob nothing, just keep driving it"

I had a similar problem in my 05. Chances are (unless they grounded the fucking alternator the next year) you'll have to run grounding wire from the alternator to the neg terminal on the battery. Sounds hick as shit but that's all it took to stop that shit in mine.

I have a beater mk2 golf that I'm fixing up. I want to slap a small engine thats reliable and handles boost well in it. I plan to run about 12-14PSI
Anyway my question is, what engine would you personally use

I'm thinking of possibly a Miata 1.6, but I've never done an engine swap, will I be able to get something like that to work with the stock transmission?

Hey /o/, found this 88 Fiero for 4k. Its a 6 Cylinder so its the real deal. Interior looks rough and the miles are a bit on the medium-high side, but other than that it looks REALLY nice. Looking for a old-ish car to drive fast and Fiero's really strike my fancy

The ad on Craigslist is as follows:

>Lots of work done.
>Shifter assembly/cables completely replaced/rebuilt, along with short shifter, using Rodney Dickman parts.
>Sunroof entirely rebuilt.
>Rear suspension almost entirely new, using Fiero Store performance poly parts/Rodney Dickman parts.
>Clutch/flywheel/slave cylinder brand new, still has a few miles left on the break in, using Spec parts.
>Aftermarket ignition coil
>Momo Steering Wheel
>Brake booster upgrade
>Aftermarket stereo, works with stock performance sub
>Paint is in decent shape, a few scratches here and there
>Replaced:
>Dew wipes (Fiero.nl vendor, did drivers side but still have to install passenger side)
>Door hinges rebuilt (Rodney Dickman, did drivers side but still have to install passenger side)
>Clutch master cylinder
>Speakers
>Other stuff, can't recall everything

>The bad:
>The usual wear and tear on the interior - some chipped dash corners, leather driver seat needs to be recovered, and rear glove box cracked
>One sail panel is cracked, the other has heat spidering
>AC needs recharging
>The engine could use a good bath...

Opinions? Ran a VIN check awhile ago and its spotless

I kept lying to myself all these years, thinking that racing is a waste of time and money. I tried to do more "usefull" activities such as cycling, climbing, general outdoor stuff and all kinds of stuff. But at the end of the day, I felt emptier and so does my bank account.

It's over now. I...finally decided to be honest with myself and pursue my childhood dream of becoming a race driver. Kf course, at 23 I'll never make it professionnal but I don't care, I want to be behind a wheel in full racing gear because it's the only thing that ever made me happy.

I have a total of 10 000$ I can spend on racing. Tell me, where would I better start off? I live in Quebec, Canada by the way.

I have considered

What do you guys think about the Toyota C-HR? Releasing in Europe Fall 2016, and possibly US in Spring 2017. I really like the look. Apparently, it is a leftover model Scion was planning to release before the Toyota takeover. Looks really unique. People have compared it to the diarrhea Nissan Juke, but in a better way.

I might buy this thing honestly.
