its a shame some dick wad stole that car.I really loved it and it was clean as fuckkkk. driving around isnt the same just.
pic unrelated mine was a sedan
>>15938528
Was it ever recovered?
Had my integra stolen once. Wasn't the same after I got it back.

Engineering explained?
>>15938648
Yeah the only good part is the fucking moron who stole it also wrapped it around a pole. Car was recovered although basically the entire body was a complete loss. Luckily I was able to recover the engine/ drivetrain and other parts. They just sit in my garage now unntill I can find another spotless civic...which I wont.
what are some good fun sedans/wagons that can also be turned into or already is a beastly as fuck sleeper. i'm seriously craving old sedans and wagons right now.

I own a turbo Legacy and I can confirm this. 250hp stock. Could drop an sti engine in it pretty easily.
Is there any cool mods I could do on my VW gli that is moderately inexpensive? It's all stock, and I appreciate any ideas, as well as links. Never been on here before, and never modified anything on my cars besides replacing little things, like turn signal bulbs.
Neither of these are mine, but I'm posting this one because i have the same rims.
>>15938060
keep it stock. save the money for repairs or proactively go to the dealer to get it looked over.

Stop making this thread you fucking Jew.
576 N·m (425 lb·ft) at 2750rpm, am I the only one who thinks this is ridiculously good? You tap the accelerator and you're at an insane amount of peak torque
Didnt ford shut down australia? Ford doesnt care about australia, why does australia care about ford

I like how the owner didn't even clean up after his car puked fluids when he was testing it
>>15937935
You can get that much out of a NA big block V8 which still takes up less room than a long ass straight 6. The only straight 6 that should be swapped into anything is a Cummins, a V8 does everything else better than a inline 6.

Pretty sure OP wanted something that isn't for fags
84 vette... so basic 350 chevy
it was running money. pulled the intake manifold off to port, then put it back together. no vacuum leaks, sensors all tested fine and calibrated perfectly.
barely idles
and under any freerev load it backfires up the throttles.
after everything, i think it has to be the distributor one tooth off and firing too early, so it should be retarded. it didnt idle long enough to use the timing gun.
distributor turns clockwise, to retard i could take it all the way out and move it a 'tooth' clockwise? or could i take the cap off and turn something there? the more i think about it the more i confuse myself - so just posting this up here.
the cap cannot be clocked at all.
thanks!!
>>15937846
did you 180 the dizzy?
i dont think so?
sometimes it can idle and ill slowly roll into the throttle and itll be perfect
sometimes i can start it with the throttle half open and itll run perfect
90% of the time its shit.
>>15937846
If you are familiar with distributors, did you reinstall it with the cap on?
So my sister just got a new car cause the tranny on her 01 CL Type S is fucked up, basically gave it to me so all I gotta do is get that fucker fixed. Which brings me to ask you guys what modding potential does this car have? Any advice for a first time car owner?
Extra info: it has 260k miles, has a sport automatic (normally it'd be a dealbreaker but the car was free), cold air intake, and I'm positive it is a type S.
Those auto trannys are made of glass.
I would have it rebuilt with upgraded internals and stick it back in there.
Those are nice cruisers.

Be glade that manual swapping is easier in these cars than most.
>buy hellcat
>can't see out the back
>can't use more than 20% throttle in the first 4 gears
Why is this car good again?
Because it's fun and sounds fantastic
Because us burgerlanders are stupid and will eat the shit up that American car makers produce
I've driven American muscle, sure it might be fun. But it's fucking nothing compared to a 2014 fully loaded sti, for example
>>15937664
You can't do burnouts in the sti and stock it barely makes enough power to spin all 4 wheels in a drift on dry pavement.
Muscle cars are for doing burnouts and spinning the tires when the light turns green. You can't use all of a 12 inch dick but it's sure nice to have anyways.
bigger wheels = more traction
more traction = better grip
better grip = better driving
better driving = faster
these confirmed for race cars

Just bought my fucking expensive as interior parts.
Carpet, weatherstripping for the entire truck, and corbeau Baja reclining seats.
It's on my been a few months since I bought it, but I'm about halfway there. Most of the mechanical stuff is done. Got my interior coming. Mostly just odds and ends after that. I'm not going to paint it.
