I couldn't get the megasquirt ecu to work. Was running 8.4 afr which is basically dumping raw fuel into the exhaust. Put the stock but reflashed ecu back in and it runs fine. I drive it around the parking lot to blow out some of that gas that's in the exhaust.

In the flesh, now. The MGB was ded for about 6 months with a busted carb that leaked gas onto the airbox and an exhaust leak at the manifold. But fortunately, I made enough on my first ship to pay for the repairs, so it's running good as new now. Funnily enough I got it back from the shop literally 3 days before I left for this ship.

I haven't been in the newest Taurus but a 2014 one was really comfy, considering it's not that expensive but almost every new car is so damn comfy. Don't see too many Lincolns around, mostly MKZs but no experience with any of them.

Full size, comfy, and with at least some power to the rear wheels. The last one isn't a breaking point, though, since I'm also looking at a 2011 Avalon and have looked at XTS' in the past. And yeah, the 2014 is fine. They honestly haven't changed the Taurus at all since 2013 beyond swapping out MyFordTouch for Sync 3. They haven't even touched the styling.

I'm also floating used new Explorer, since it's built on the Taurus' platform. Anyone heard anything bad about them beyond Austin PD gassing themselves in them? I've glanced at the Q70 as well, and heard literally nothing but good about them.

Califag reporting in. Worst rain I ever been in was an El Niño in 4th or 5th grade, nothing compared to my Texas brothers though. Stay dry, safe, and if you have to go out, please bring a 1-day or 2-day bag of socks, blankets, fresh clothes, protein bars, and water in case you get stranded.

I can only say for a new models such as the Taurus, CTS and a few Lexus ones but you'll need to do a lot of test driving to find the right one for you.

Exterior and interior you can get an idea from pictures and videos but that's all it gives you. If possible test drive all 15 of those cars or pick the best few. For long term issues, it's difficult to tell what issues will come, but there was a carbon monoxide leak on the explorers.
