I'm a parts manager at a dealership. The last time in needed struts for my DD rockauto had KYB's for $30 a piece lower than what I could get locally with a discount. I use four different auto parts stores depending on what i need. I have the guy whose the closest & gets me stuff quick. I have another place a few towns over who are rock stars with technical stuff & overall knowledge. I have another place that are the last real local rebuilders of starters & alternators. My last guy is a A/C Delco & Mopar warehouse who gives me 10% over dealer net for factory parts.

Check for plastic covering on any engine bay parts, and when driving an auto put the transmission in "D" mode, not d3/2/1. Then you use the "gas" pedal to go faster and the "brake" pedal to slow down. Use your right foot to brake and left to accelerate.

When towing or on snow/ice it'll keep you it won't shift past 1st/2nd/3rd gear respectively since in those situations leaving it in D will range between bad/zero traction and killing your transmission.

I do have a front one. I used to run a knock off gopro in the front and real dashcam in rear. Since I put chinapro on my helmet and other things I just moved the dashcam to front on cyclic. I

The dash cam is g1wc recording 1080p with a 32gb memory card. Anytime something happens I just save that one file and it won't overwrite it.

Having caught a bunch of tiny stupid things on film as well as catching a dealership treat my car like shit I can say it's worth it.
