I dont have a pic since it happened 10 years ago, but I got popped doing 96 in a 45. The thought that I would get arrested when I pulled over didnt even cross my mind.

I lost my license when I was 16, I drove like a total shitlord a decade ago.

Only ticket I got was 62 in a 40 but he write me for 49.
Write 62 in comments though and got me on radar, so didn't try to fight it.
It was about a month ago, and the same cop just got my friend for the EXACT same thing in the EXACT same place.

Sits there Wednesday afternoons I learned.

I don't have any because I am a safe, respectable driver who does not break the law.

My only ticket ever was 118 in a 45 zone. I was 17, in my Grandma's Civic at 4AM, and wanted to see how fast she could go. Next thing I know I pass a cop and see him turn around. Said I was going 118 in a 45 but he dropped it to 65 because going over 20 is a big no no in my state or something.

He told me to go home and go to bed, so I did.
He came into my work the next day (I worked at a gun store, at the time), recognized me, and just stared chuckling. Wound up being one of my regulars for a long time.

Took my 1985 Mercedes Benz 300D to 113 on a downhill stretch of freeway once, so about a week or two later I went back to see if I could beat the record.

Saw the cop and stopped accelerating, he got me going 98, then cut me down to 85 to save my ass from a felony.

I was 20, and my state allowed you a certain amount of points before they took your license, and this amount was lower when you were <21. So that one sent me over the edge, but my suspension hearing happened like 3 days beforehand my 21st birthday. They ended up suspending my license for those 3 days until my points-allowed went up.

Depends on the ramp, really.

Around here, they have 30 MPH "suggested" speeds for a lot of ramps that are really just great long sweeping corners. They mainly set the stupid low suggested speed for tractor trailers in normal weather, and everyone else when there's snow on the ground. It's not hard to hold 60 MPH around them in fair weather, at that speed it just feels like a moderately quick corner. Doing 90 around it would be a stretch, though I've done 70 on a few before and it didn't go too badly, even in an econobox.

It's not that hard in anything, ever. My 150 HP shitbox can easily double the limit on a 50 MPH road in 4th gear, and that's on a decently twisty road where you tend to go off if you do more than 10-15 over on some of the bends.

Even in my 200 HP shitbox, doubling the limit on a 50 MPH road when passing someone is a matter of dropping to 3rd at 40-45 MPH, running it out and going part way through 4th before letting off.

Good lawyer got the reckless dropped and the speeding reduced to an "Unsafe Operation of Vehicle". $400 ticket, but no points(still cheaper) and all of it goes to the township instead of the insurance company.
