So I've been searching for the past few months and I've narrowed it down to an '05 RX8 with 125k mi, an '03 IS300 with 120k mi, and an '09 Cooper S with 80k mi.
They're all in the same price range, but I need more information about them.
My biggest concerns are Reliability (gonna be my daily) Ease/Cost of Maintenance (gonna be servicing myself) and Wrenching Potential (I'd like something car meet worthy)
What's your input /o/?
They're fucking gay so you'll love it
>My biggest concerns are Reliability
>Is wondering about the least reliable Mazda ever made
>Is wondering about the least reliable BMW ever made
>Is wondering about a 13 year old beat to shit lexus
I don't really intend to do anything major to it, just want it to look clean, ride smooth, sound nice and have a good deal of pickup. my average cruising speed is somewhere between 80-120mph depending on the road, I'd like to get up to speed in a timely manner without straining my engine. If it could achieve higher speeds without compromising too much reliability, that'd be great too. Out of the 3, which would suit my needs the best? What should I be mindful of?
Different pic so euroanon can keep dumping. Once the other thread dies we'll resume the same shit.
keep em comming it's good stuff

What are the easiest cars to wrench on?
Entry level cars that have a big engine bay but a small engine
even I could fix one
>>16819841
> wrench on
fuck off amerifag
>looking at used car
>exactly what you wanted
>no accidents, solid maintenance
>drives great
>check tires
>shitty literal who tires like "dohonko" or some shit
as long as all the tires match who gives a shit.
the only time im redflagged buying a car is when the tires are bald as shit or they are all mis matched
atleast if they all match and have tread the owner still maintained the car but chose the cheap shit tire option
Just put new tires on dude
>>16819550
kill yourself my man
A screw punctured my tire so I used pic related then poured tire sealant in the tire afterwards.
Now what? Drive around with it for a bit, then is everything ok forever or will this tire lose pressure faster than the rest forever?
Why the fuck did you pour in sealant? The plug is all you need.
Be wary though: when you plug a tire, the speed ratings are void. I wouldn't drive more than about 85 on a tire that's been plugged.
Same thing happened to me about 5k miles ago.
No issue so far, pressure is holding the same as before.
Seems permanent.
I don't trust plugged tyres as anon above stated, i'd get two new ones if you like to drive.
>going to pick up my date in this car tomorrow
the classic mini really is the best car for picking up women, right /o/?

If she likes Mr. Bean
>>16819270
I've had two classic minis and zero girlfriends

Sure, m8. And then bang her in the back seat.
I'm not sure how I can ever go back to a V6 after buying a V8.
Who knows that feel?
>not appreciating all types of engines
normies REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Not I.
But then again my vee ayte was a smogcucked 302.
kinda
I cant go back to a V8 after driving high revving 4 bangers
You're at the BMW dealership when this guy walks up and tells you to buy an Alfa Romeo instead.
What do you do?
Keep in mind he's 200lbs and is making Alfa Romeo great again.
>>16819015
I'm probably looking at used shitboxes vapelords have traded in anyway.
>>16819015
he's a big guy
>>16819015
tell him I can't drive automatic so I couldn't drive any of his cars anyway
Why doesn't your car have 1500bhp?
>>16818962
197 is plenty in a Fiesta desu
This is my e63 AMG tuned to 1000 HP. Not 1500 but Id rather have luxuary and comfort over 500HP. Pic related is my car. It also has a cloaking device.
>>16818983
Cloaking device is shit, you can still see the tyres if you look closely.
regrets?
I got this m4 2014 for my birthday but its a really bad car and my parents wouldnt tell me what they paid for it, i did some research and it costed 75k, like WTF for 75k you can get so many better cars. Is there a way I can trade or sell this car without my parents knowing?
>>16818885
>Being THIS ungrateful
Wow...
Seriously, wow. If my parents bought me a $75,000 car, I'd be washing their dishes and mowing their gardens until I retire.
Show some goddamn gratitude, you ungrateful shit...
gonna need a bigger hook m8
>>16818919
I am not ungrateful, if they spent 75k, which is a shit ton of money, on a car for me then id better get one which I am happy with, or else its literally 75k down the drain.
the m4 is such a boring car, it doesnt stand out people think its a 3 series or something and they only know its more than that when I give it some gas. I want a car that stands out like porsche 911.
Why is a "handmade" car considered a good thing?
Humans aren't consistent.
machines dont put soul and passion into their work
>>16818582
An African immigrant in Italy does?
>>16818582
>soul and passion
What the hell is that supposed to mean? I would rather have my car made consistently by a machine that doesn't get tired, doesn't not give a shit on Monday morning or Friday afternoon, and doesn't get bored.
What features that come with Hard Rock do really matter for offroading? And is there a way to find a more detailed list than on Jeep's "build your own"?
And, is it possible to remove features from any model? (I sure don't need the "premium audio system" off road and might be just fine with crank windows, to name a couple).
>>16817980
Why the fuck do you need the Rubicon? It's the most expensive of them all.
Lol jeep
The rock rails are nice, and the sway bar is good. I wouldn't consider an SUV that didn't have locking differentials, so that is meh. The skid plates would probably need to be upgraded, along with other shit
Tbh if you go buy a 90s YJ/4runner/etc for 5-6k and drop 12k on mods/replacing parts it would be much more of a value unless you absolutely need to have muh touch screen. Coming up on 40k for a new offroader just doesn't make sense to me personally
I come to /o/ because it's the only auto board I know.
I am looking for these things;
>2013 or newer
>automatic
>0-60 of 8 seconds minimum
>20 mpg city minimum
>Under 60k miles
>sedan or hatchback
Budget: 12k at a dealership
There's a lot of cheap models and cars in the inventories near me but I do not know which model would best fit these categories.
I'd like to avoid CVT/DCT unless the issues with those are now fixed; I just remember when these first released it was bad and broke often.
Thanks.

I'm cringing so fucking hard right now.
How the fuck can any automotive company come up with a commercial this fucking gay?
>>16817232
Fuck. forgot link

wow. that was really bad.

Thank god I'm not the only one.
I remember when car commercials were inspiring and intense or at least funny
what the fuck happened?
