>Would you buy one if you could?
I would shit!!!

eeh
yes

One of the few supercars I would.
Why are Honda the greediest pieces of shit when it comes to chipped car keys?
>idiot brothers lose a key to the 2012 Accord
>dealer wants $400
>local locksmith wants $100 for a key with no buttons (open/close trunk) or $125 with, third party part
>meanwhile, I buy a 2015 Ford Fusion with proximity keys
>buy keys for $44/each new genuine OEM parts
>follow procedure in manual (press buttons with certain sequence/timing) and program two additional keys myself.
Is this just a Japanese automaker thing in general? Toyota doesn't seem to permit on-board programming of keys either.

Those keys also break stupid easy. The actual metal barely protrudes into the plastic. Plastic weakens and key begins to wiggle and will eventually crack and you have to buy a new shell. Absolute garbage design and quality.
I think it was 2014 when they went to the key fob / switchblade design.

Already had this happen once, there's a tiny metal screw on the back and the actual plastic at the point where the head and blade meet is super weak.
I did the cheapest method but it wasnt that cheap. Bought key for $35 on ebay, cost $35 to get ot cut. Programmed it myself. Dealer charged another $60 to program the immobilizer.

STOP SPYING ON ME
>You may only post ITT if your car is featured in a racing vidya.
feels good man

Yup.
Seen a cheap one around and called the seller. He said the car is currently in service and (among others maybe) the throttle is broken.
From other sources I heard the car was driven by a woman and it might have been abused. Tomorrow I may go and see the car if the guy says it's ready.
He asks 600 euro for the "fixed" car or 500 "pay and go". Should I back off and look for other offers?
When buying Twingos, always check if all the electronics work and make sure there's no nasty underbody rust.
Depending on the country, €500 should get you at least a runner though, and €1000 should get you a pretty much mint one. Probably worth it to spend a bit more.

>TFW Americuck who wants a toringo
>Cheap as piss in Europe
>First ones to get imported to the USA will be the oldest shittiest ones
>Will still cost $8000+ because meme tax
Being an auto enthusiast isn't even fucking worth it anymore.
>>17050509
Hey atleast americans don't have to pay 120k+ for a fucking mustang GT
Is the 2018 Defender really going to be this abomination?
I swear I have sen these imahes for over 10 years but do they have anything to do with reality?
>>17050280
New Mini is cute. CUTE.
At least you can still buy a Lada Niva.
you know what I don't understand? paddle shifter, people like to think they are an alternative to a manual, even though:
>it automatically upshifts for you
>can't stay in the power long enough
>not even real gears if its a cvt
>>17050239
How about you learn how to construct a sentence, nigger.
>>17050239
It's a gimmick for fags
im pretty sure a lot of DEDICATED paddle shifter cars will not shift automatically for you.
the SMG will destroy itself and wont shift for you if you don't.
same with the PDK, bmw DCT and nissan's own dumb dct.
It's sad that people can't have decent and logical conversations anymore without bringing hateful bias into it.
Looks fine to me
>>17049884
looks like oversized daihatsu copen
it's 1000% more attractive than anything else they've built under VAG ownership.
at least it doesn't look like a fat passat
Should I do it /o/ ?

>v8
do you want people to think you're poor anon?
>>17049796
The V12 is not a very good idea in Yuropoorland.
>>17049796
there is like a 15 bhp difference between the S63 and S65
15 hp for extra 4 cylinders wtf

>>17049503
I'd bump that skank's trunk, if you know what I mean.
>>17049557
i'd explode in her face if you catch my drift
Engine builders please answer me this. I'm contemplating doing an LS build. I've never worked on one before but I have engine building experience (Caterpillar C12s). What's a good parts list for a reliable 7000rpm redline and 450ish hp at the crank?
Double honeycomb valve springs, and good headers
>>17049441
No turbos. Naturally aspirated is the goal, thanks.
>>17049443
This. 500 from an ls is child's play
What does /o/ think of pic related?
>>17049449
>pushrods
It truly is the perfect engine, isn't it?
Nice clean build
Great craftsmanship
>>17049449
for land speed records, of course turbos are better. you want peak power at the top end, where N/A and superchargers are better at the low to mid range.
Anyone into classic cars?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i2rIm21TM8o
me anyone who isn't is literal cancerous gook circle jerkers about "muh deformed plastic aesthetic", when in reality modern cars are all ugly, back then cars were made with pride and eye appeal
>>17050402
Boomer alert!
>>17050410
tell me that this isn't just deformed plastic, literally nothing is aesthetic about it
What does /o/ think of ricermiata?
>>17049206
hes a qt
hes a stonebag
>>17049206
dirtbag moose meat
Are 4 series worth the extra money from a 3? Or just gimmicks and paying extra to remove two doors
slightly better handling
overall you just pay for the looks
Don't they come lowered and with a different suspension and less weight?
If you want a 3-series coupe, get a 2-series.
