Engine builders please answer me this. I'm contemplating doing an LS build. I've never worked on one before but I have engine building experience (Caterpillar C12s). What's a good parts list for a reliable 7000rpm redline and 450ish hp at the crank?
Double honeycomb valve springs, and good headers

No turbos. Naturally aspirated is the goal, thanks.

This. 500 from an ls is child's play

No turbolag

Just buy a crate LS7 at that point. 505 horse, revs to 7k and comes with full warrenty.
Aftermarket builds might be cheaper by using a wet sump.

>anti lag
He wants a reliable engine, not a timebomb that needs to be assessed between races. This isn't initial D fuckhead.

I'm a stickler for throttle response and turbos have just never impressed me in that regard.
Do a carbed 350/383 stroker my man

Trying to get away from carbs. The car it's going into currently has a GM 350HO Crate engine. It's not that it's bad, but I just want to go in a direction that improves all aspects of the car/engine's performance. Weight reduction, more power, better fuel economy, etc.
