>wearing headphones publicly
Why not?
The NY Metro is loud and stressful, so I put on my headphones to listen to good music and block out the noise.
Absolutely nothing wrong with headphones on a flight, a long bus ride or something of that nature. But when you're sitting in a coffee shop with your $500 phones on, yeah, you probably look like a tool.

I don't understand what's wrong with it though. Like I understand why playing a 3DS in public looks weird but isn't listening to music a pretty generally accepted thing to in public?
that album is good but nowhere close to a 10/10 lol
>>68574183
>nowhere close to a 10/10
it's 9/10 at worse
replace family affair with part time punks and it's indisputably a 10
it's a shame they never did anything else that's good
OP did you make a thread about this album yesterday asking how good was the rest of their discography and then made this >>68573375 thread today?
If so, dude, you need to take a shower and have a nap. Holy shit.
Reminder to be nice to Bri Wi

Can you believe he let a twelve-year-old fan direct this music video?
Absolute fucking madman he is.
Xtal is probably one of the best songs that i've ever heard by any artist
I really liked it. Why did Marina completely abandon this style?
>>68573724
For EH she was kinda forced to change her style because the success of TFJ wasnt enough. She once said that she had to work with those producers and it was frustating because she couldnt really use her own lyrics. The producers gave her beats or the instrumentals and she had to write lyrics for that and most of the time it was lyrics she hated. Thats why she started doing her own shit at home and thats how FROOT came to life. EH was a mess and not fun for Marina. Only reason she was able to bare it was because she got slightly more famous than she was in TFJ. For everybody saying that shes a sellout, she is not. She was simply forced to change thats also why EH has a fictional character that the lyrics are about because she didnt wanted to get connected to the lyrics to not make her look like a whore. That was Marinas easy move to not make her look like a spoiled whore and with that, thats also why FROOT is mainly about Marina and not a fictional character
>>68573724
>>68574318
I was repeating myself here at the end with the whore part. None the less looking at Unreleased Tracks and The Rejects from Marina you see that there were a few songs similar to her style from EH but they didnt make it into the album unfortunately. All in one, the label and producers made this album shit
>>68574318
Sad. Didn't know this, but to be honest I actually EH too, but it's still shitty she had to go through this. Did she self-release FROOT? Do you think she'll ever do something like TFJ again?
Give me some music that can help me to reduce stress

probably the best voice evrerrrreee
It's just "happy", "sad", and "mellow". There is no corrosive anger, destructive depression, or mindful creativity.
>It's just "happy", "sad",
>>68573652
>album called "happy sad"
>he looks sad
like pottery
>>68573626
>corrosive anger
Burn the Witch, Ful Stop
>destructive depression
Decks Dark, True Love Waits
>mindful creativity
Kid A era was arguably the only time Radiohead really had this, it's not really something to expect this far from their prime.
>one album absolutely blows your mind
>everything else is mediocre at best
what's her name /mu/?
pygmalion was their best album prove me wrong
>everything else is mediocre

hate her but this was a solid album
I don't hate her at all, but the album was just ok.
Where is your god now OP
I don't think it was 'solid', but there were plenty of great songs. Perfect Illusion was rock bottom for this album. Dull as fuck, except the end part.
>>68573155
i don't know what it is with her and weird lead single choices. i liked applause but for a lead single? no
Anyone here play the banjo?
>>68573037
Just bought one two weeks ago actually
I can play the L4D2 theme, two cords and two basic rolls lmao

Why isn't there more mature metal stuff so an adult like me can enjoy metal more?
Is there something like a The Glow Part 2 of metal? You know something with actual emotional intelligence and substance than the average edge fest that metal usually is.
3/10 you forced it too much; try using synonyms and softening the phrasing next time. Innocence is the key word here

OP here
Case in point
Why do artists tend to reach perfection only once during their careers? You think when they strike something magical they should be able to hold onto that creativity for more than one album, right? Shit's annoying mang.
Bill Bruford left after CttE.
>>68572960
Well the majority of artists never reach perfection even once. So enjoy it when you find it
Varg pulled it off on four albums, two albums being really phenomenal. Although he did record all four within the same year, so that's probably why.
