Is this the best RYM performance of all time? Five straight albums at 4.0
I would say Elliott Smith's 7 bolded albums in a row is more impressive desu

It's on rutracker already
The lyrics are great, but the songs are shit, with the exception of the title song, 'Treaty', and 'Living the Table'.
I am extremely disappointed. I read the lyrics before listening to the songs and I was expecting something equally interesting.
He didn't even compose most of the songs. Only three of them are actually his. He uses Madonna's composer now. It's degrading.
Has anyone else here listened to it?
It leaked about a week ago.
I listened to it a couple of times since and liked it.
Treaty is probably one of my favorite songs of his and one the best songs of the year. I agree that most of the other material on the album is pretty uneven, though.
It's officially on YouTube at his VEVO channel. Im listening it right now.

There's a name for this, I don't have the study anymore but I remember reading something about it.
What makes Japanese music so different to other countries is the fact that they tend to use REALLY LONG melodic sequences, and tend to use a lot of them, they also disregard many western convention about modern music, conventions made by popular artists to make song really easier to make by following the usual pattern that is >Verse, refrain, versé, refrain, verse, refrain, refrain which makes most of music so utterly boring nowadays.
Also
>video gaymes music
If the first thing you find unusual sounds like "video gaymes music" to you, then I don't know what the fuck you are doing on /mu/

literally what is this
Hi /mu/
There was an album that I played quite frequently at the time of being with my then-girlfriend, which I'm sure was actually an EP.
She had a beautiful, soothing and soulful voice. One of the songs was titled something like "the greatest thing", or maybe it wasn't and I'm getting confused. But she speaks about the greatest thing she could do, which is marrying her partner.
The album cover reminded me of the sea, I think. It was blue of some kind, and it had a stroke on the border if I remember correctly.
Now I'm not entirely certain on the factual accuracy of what I've just said. But anyone that helps me find the album will get a dump of nudes from the most attractive girls I have received pictures from.
Please help I'm having one of those days.
Bump

I recently found the band Dilly Dally, and loved their album Sore. I think they're really tapping into some bits of Nirvana, as well as Pixies and Hole. I like it.
I haven't heard much obviously Cobain influenced music that I liked, so it was fresh.
Anybody have anymore bands like that?
Lay them on me.
