>not white knighting the girl and pretending to like One Direction
THAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN ME AT THAT PARTY YA DINGUS
What was your first run-in Death Grips?
What did you initially think?
No Love, and I didn't like it at first.
when exmilitary dropped
it had some catchy tunes
not a huge fan overall
Shortly after Exmilitary came out my then girlfriend found "Guillotine" and sent it to me in a "what the fuck is this?" text. I didn't care for it either but I listened to the whole mixtape a couple times and liked it well enough. Didn't really give them a second look until I heard "Hustle Bones" a year or so later, then I was hooked.
Rock has more artistic merit than hip hop and electronic music

Asking /mu/ cause you guys strike me as the people who'd know these media in and out.

Just base your music taste on whatever Tiny Mix Tapes hypes
You have 5 seconds to name your favourite album with less than 300 ratings on RYM, anon.

Lol, come back when all your 5's have single digit ratings, kid.
Benjamin Shaw's album Goodbye Cagoule World I'd good shit.
Also Zlota Jesiens album Girl Nothing
>RYM
It's been 1 year since this masterpiece released. What are your thoughts?
"damn i'm fucking getting old"
one of the most creative albums of 2016 easily, somewhere from an 8.5/10 to a 9.5/10
>>70598924

Funny how this album is vastly superior to all the atmoshit, dream pop and crappy shoegaze that swarm around here and the internet.
>>70598744

The King of Limbs and Tomorrow's Modern Boxes are are two of my favorite releases associated with Radiohead, with the King of Limbs easily being my favorite. Amnesiac is right up there with these two. I'm honestly not even a huge Radiohead fan but The King of Limbs if quickly becoming one of my favorite albums released in the last five or six years.
Does anyone else feel the same way?
>>70598614
Yes.
TKOL is the pinnacle of Thom's career.
>>70598614
TKOL is definitely an underrated album. I don't really rate it as highly as other radioread releases though
also, Amnesiac is my favorite radiohead album
TKOL is great
but if you prefer the second half of it, you're a pleb
