FRAAAAAME BY FRAAAAAME
Discipline, released by King Crimson in 1981, was their first album after a seven year hiatus with an almost completely different lineup than the last. It combined King Crimson's prog rock style with New Wave. This album went on to influence the Math Rock genre.
>>70599015
better than in the court of the crimson king
not sorry
>>70600607
Unironically this
Red is still the best though
80s King Crimson is best King Crimson
>>70599015
Would have been shit tier without tony levin
>>70600656
red is amazing too, as well as larks.
basically a majority of the king crimson albums w/ bill bruford on drums.
The GOAT
I tried Talking Heads but they don't have the same punch
Something similar? Devo?
>>70600607
Discipline sounds way too '80s to be good.
>>70599015
Not as good as Islands or Larks Tongue in Aspic
>>70600825
any talking heads album ever
>>70599527
this is a stupid meme
>>70599636
except this is older than tool and actually good
>>70602181
It's a meme you dipshit.
>>70600825
Try Talking Heads Live in Rome, its on Youtube. Has Belew on Guitar and occaisonal backing vocals, and its a great entry point for that era of Talking Heads.
If you like it, listen to Remain in Light, which has both Fripp and Belew on it.
80's trilogy is my favorite actually.
Adrian Belew is the best thing to ever happen to the band.
Red is the exception.
>>70603284
wrong
bruford, wetton, lake and arguably cross were
>>70599015
Does that symbol have any meaning?
>>70603415
some irish tree people shit
i can't fucking stand new wave
i don't think it's shit it's just one of my least favorite popular music genres
even a band as talented as king crimson couldn't make it enjoyable for me
>>70599015
A 7/10 that people will pretend is a 9/10 to seem cultured and intelligent.
I'd like to know similar kinds of stuff to Frame by Frame, Sheltering Sky, and the title track specifically.
>>70599015
The appeal is that it's incredibly tight.
>>70600685
>>70607211
This, come for shit like Thela Hun Ginjeet, which is also tight and stay for shit like the title track which has NO RIGHT to be that tight.
>>70600685
Tell that to fucking Beat and Three of a Perfect Pair. I'm not the only one that didn't like either of those albums, right?
I actually genuinely really like THRAK though, and no one ever talks about it.
Indiscipline is the best track.
