i'm a huge basinski fan but honestly didn't like this that much. the title track is good but the piano at the end doesn't fit very well (it's better on variations and melancholia anyway) and "for david robert jones" starts off well enough but the saxophone is too dissonant for me. i don't think it'll grow on me too much, either.
