So, when I was a teen I read:
>2001: A Space Odyssey
>2010: Odyssey Two
>Rendezvous with Rama
and
>Childhood's End
I'm planning on rereading these sometime soon, and my question is: what else by Arthur C. Clarke should I read afterwards?

Don't call it that ever again.
>>9895720
What would you call it?
Why do you read literature?

the consumption and creation of art is the only thing that I can see that makes life worth living, and literature is my favorite medium of art.

To learn about the heritage of my whiteness and white forefathers who built Western civilzation which is now crumbling thanks to feminist postmodernism

"You must understand, the leading Bolsheviks who took over Russia were not Russians. They hated Russians. They hated Christians. Driven by ethnic hatred they tortured and slaughtered millions of Russians without a shred of human remorse. It cannot be overstated. Bolshevism committed the greatest human slaughter of all time. The fact that most of the world is ignorant and uncaring about this enormous crime is proof that the global media is in the hands of the perpetrators." -- Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn

Robert Aitken. I'd just read "A Zen Wave" and call it a day.
You can look at it, but you can't see it; it has no color, no size
You can listen to it, but you can't hear it; it has no tone, no words
You can grasp it, but you can't hold it; it has no texture, no shape
These three senses can not measure its depths
It passes beyond where they mingle and become one
One - there is nothing greater around it
Nothing smaller inside
It has no edge, no definition, no name
And it is constantly returning to itself
It is the form of formlessness
The image of imagelessness
Subtle and hidden
How can you follow what has no back
How can you lead what has no front
Stay with it, here and now, and you will find
The thread that runs unbroken from the ancient past

Real lies
why is a poetic mishmash of tautologies and contradictions considered important?

Does he actually believe the shit he says? Is it just the result of him trying to come up with justification for his ideology or does he already conceive it as brainwashing? Why do people think he's not right-wing and why is he still allowed to teach?

>Does he actually believe the shit he says?
He's definitely engaging in hyperbole but he believes the gist of what he's saying.
>Is it just the result of him trying to come up with justification for his ideology or does he already conceive it as brainwashing?
He had some problems in his life so he had to come up with a way to cope with them. He then engaged in a fuckload of time trying to prove why his way of coping is the best way.
>Why do people think he's not right-wing and why is he still allowed to teach?
Because he says he's not right-wing, even though he obviously is. He's still allowed to teach because he garners attention for the university and, of course, tenure.
Why do people try to debate Chomsky?

>Rose is effectively claiming that the Pentagon was greatly interested in Turkish nominalisation (the first dissertation in our programme), Australian aboriginal languages, Wilhelm von Humboldt’s inquiries into language and the political order, and other work of comparable military relevance. And, by the same logic, that it took a similar interest in the incipient programme in philosophy and other teaching and research programmes sustained in the same manner, including undergraduate courses in radical politics.
Why can't the armed forces be interested in the radical politics? Does he think psy-ops and sparking insurrections abroad couldn't be of strategic interests?

To tap into his money-making schemes
Post a book.
Call out a name.
If your name is called, you now have the next book you should read.
Here you go, James.
Gabriel/Gabrielle/Gabe/Gaben/Gabby, and any other variations I may have forgotten.
Enjoy, Dylan.
I fucking hate that name.
