For me getting female hair was extremely easy. I just went into a female salon with my mom and when the stylist came I asked her for a specific kind of cut that is female only (but I never said I wanted a feminine cut). I got really girly haircuts even when I was still a guy. Usually at salons they don't care plus stylists prefer doing female cuts anyway. Don't specifically ask for a female cut though. Just tell them how you want it.
