Probably a combo of two things:

1. Gay guys are more promiscuous and so you have less to feel threatened by - he'll come around to you.

2. You are confronted with that which you cannot have. It dredges up those feelings from youth that you're "supposed" to be attracted to women.

It's possible they are into you, but shrooms can obviously make you find random ass things fascinating.

Regardless of if they are into you or not you could have taken them tripping and geeking out on toes as sexual interest and now just have that on your mind.

I have seen many friends do this both cis and gay that misinterpreted someone's comments or physical contact as romantic or sexual interest.

Personally I'd just carry on as usual and see what unfolds.

There was the threat of them or my family taking everything from our lover if they contested our wills or power of attorney as was the case with the hospital, which cost me $3,500 in legal fees to have an injunction to have the power of attorney forcibly recognized.
