How do I stop my voice box from completely dropping when in nervous

How do I stop my voice box from completely dropping when in nervous situations? I get nervous when meeting new people, and my first impression generally always has a really deep voice. It happens so involuntarily, even when I'm consciously trying to keep my voice level stable. also, I guess general voice tips thread.

Just focus on not being too nervous, my voice is a little shaky when I'm extremely nervous (like when I run into someone from before transitioning) but the best thing that helps is just confidence. I know that answer may not help way too much, but it's the best I've got x-x
