That is surprising, they say its supposed to beat pistol rated armor which it does so here, like to see it vs fresh lv IIIA kevlar. Is Lv IIIA steel supposed to be 1/8in? The round is only supposed to be around 1500fps right, are spitzer bullets supposed to be best then?

You may be fucked but I recall seeing a webm of some guy in Paris being approached by an African with a baseball bat. The guy reveals his sidearm and the African backs off (if anyone has that webm, please post it)

So you guys may have concealed carry laws. Or that guy may have been a cop. Dunno.

You are reborn as Daenerys Targaryen, daughter of Aerys, and the rightful ruler of Westeros. You have 3 fire breathing dragons, each with a wingspan of 50 feet and can fly for 80 MPH. They are strong enough for you to ride them. Their fire breath has an effective range of 130 feet.

How do you invade Westeros with your 10,000 unsullied spear men, 500 calvary, and 10,000 light calvary. You will be facing armies that are 50,000 -80,000 in size.

How do you utilize your dragons to conquer your enemies and rule?

You must be fun at parties.

It's a fun thread and I am interested in how people will apply military strategy to something that is imaginary. There's a lot of ways you can utilize a dragon in this setting, the psychological aspect of it and trying to demoralize your enemies through extreme brutality and making an example of one enemy. Or maybe using the dragons as a way of exercising unconventional warfare tactics and striking food resources (no other people can contest your air supremacy)

I think it will be an interest topic.

this show is absolute fucking trash now, they've given up all sense of consistency, which is why a brain dead fanboy like you cant even get the numbers correct.

Dany has Dorne, the Reach, and literally every Dothraki which means her numbers should be somewhere around 200,000 at least. The Lannisters were crippled during previous battles, have no competent commanders left, and no money, and no food because they had been relying on their alliance with the Tyrells for it. Yet D&D are going to pull a conflict out of their ass in which Cersei can resist them and not get completely steamrolled.

This show is shit and youre a moron for not even remembering these details

Interesting to compare these soldiers to ones you see in media with American soldiers. All their gear and attitude is fresh and doesn't have that fatigue a decade of war brings. It must be surreal for them fighting an urban battle in their home turf, as 3rd world as it can look they're all pretty much up on the times like the rest of the west. The country as a whole is overwhelmingly catholic/christian so it goes to show how dangerous it is to let Islam gain even a small foothold. Not necessarily that "all Muslims are like that" but that any Muslim dense population within a larger one can serve as a way in for them to try to start a Caliphate. Hopefully this serves as an "oh shit" moment for any population that nurtured Muslim populations in their counties.

A weapon is an enclosed container for a (generally) chemical reaction that launches a projectile in the direction of your choosing.
The projectiles come in various sizes from 4.6mm up to 16" and higher, and can be made up of copper, steel, lead or a combination of several.

New /k/ommando here. I was just perusing my state gun laws and came across this

>It is unlawful to have or carry any rifle, shotgun or any other gun (except a handgun as detailed above) in or on a vehicle on a public highway, unless the gun is taken down or totally contained in a securely fastened case, and its barrels and magazines are unloaded. If an individual has a permit to carry weapons, it is lawful for individuals to possess uncased and loaded firearms in a vehicle.

Now, does this mean I cannot have magazines preloaded in my locked gun case, not inserted into the weapon, in the trunk of my car?

Also gun laws general.

Why is the European theater of WW2 focused more than the Pacific theater?

In Europe, we fought the German B-Team. Germany's focus was on the USSR, and D-Day came after Stalingrad. The USSR would've won against Germany without the USA's help. The only brutality here was Omaha, Bastogne, and Market Garden (which was due to Montgomery's incompetence).

On the other side of the world, the Pacific theater was much more brutal and bloody conflict. The Japanese were literally prepared to do anything and give up their lives just to kill one American. Every battle was brutal: Guadalcanal, Peleliu, Saipan, Iwo Jima etc. etc. were all 10x worse than what Americans had to face in Europe. For fuck's sake we had to nuke Japan to end the war.

literally hate this shit.
guess thats how i know im a pro in something... sigh
germany was focused on calis (narrowest gap of the english channel in between france and britan)
hitler knew the undersupplied and under equipped troops he sent to stalin grad were to turn south at the end of the seige and capture the oil fields

the real brutality is the air warfare over europe and hitlers vengance 3 "millipede" weapon aimed directly at london putting pressure on churchill

montgomery dropped british paratroopers to there deaths/eventual capture by trying to seize major ports and bridges without proper support/supplies

For fuck's sake we had to nuke Japan to end the war.
> Pic related
japan had been firebombed alot.
emperor gave no fucks about the civilian population.
when china/russia conflict began it set up a delicate situation for the japanese...

went like this... okay the russians are gonna kill our god emperor.
the americans wont.
hence the decision was made to surrender to the americans due to the looming threat of a russian occupation.

Why hasn't anybody tried their hand at a mass market automatic revolver in decades? It'd be a challenge to work out its mechanism, and to be competitive with automatics you'd likely need to make it auto ejecting and feed from a magazine, but it's clear to me that a cost effective and very reliable automatic revolver could be produced.

What's the point of a cylinder if it feeds from a magazine and ejects casings? What's the point of making something like that?

No guns euro here with legit question. What's the actual difference between the assault weapons that media always rambles about and the average semi auto, detachable magazine rifle? The term assault seems pretty stupid and used as some type of buzzword to make it look scarier. Thanks.

Assault weapon is a made up term starting back in the 80's to characterize semi auto rifles and pistols with detachable box magazines (most of the time) and a bunch of other features that they like to throw around. It literally just describes modern semi-auto rifles and pistols of any type that they incidentally want to ban. They also intentionally conflate terms.
>>
>>34412643
its a way for them to describe a semi automatic rifle without calling it an assault rifle, which would be flat out wrong. Not that they would seem to care
its all about fear and how much BS they can spew out without getting caught
