Why were Wehrmacht divisions on average 20% more combat effective than US Army divisions on the Western Front?
Mission tactics? Panthers?
>>34424720
moar combat experience. also, fighting defensively.
Combat experience? Fanatic loyalty? The 88mm gun? Rommel? A judenfrei commanf chain?
Probably combat experience but I question that percentage and would like a source.
I can't figure out why someone would do this, but I think I came out on top?
I was at a gun show trying to sell my Romanian AK47 SAR-1 (no threaded barrel). It wasn't in bad condition but it was in great condition either.
A dealer traded me a used Sig P938 with 3 magazines (2 extended, 1 regular) and 2 holsters (1 IWB and 1 OWB). Pretty sure all this is like an $800 value.
Which is more than the AK was worth.
Here's the AK:

OP, I...
>one guy with a suppressor on his rifle, the others aren't
>different uniforms, one guy with multicam and the rest use a desert bdu
>different comms pieces
>different plate carriers
so are you alowed to bring your own shit in SF as long as it's milspec?

Basically, yes.

>so are you alowed to bring your own shit in SF as long as it's milspec?
I'm sure the KAC NT-4 was in the armory.
what country has the worst uniforms?
I despise those IDF Chef Boyardee hats
Maybe not the worst, but China has some retarded camouflage patterns. Some are questionable, like the all brown Tibetan camo, but then you have full retard stuff, like paratroopers having blue camo with white clouds on it, or firefighters having flame orange camo. Marines have that famous blue camo, which is actually based on the paint used inside ships, so if they brush against wet paint it gets hidden by the pattern, and it's bright enough that you can still easily see them if they fall overboard, unlike the US Navy uniform. All that is nice, but it kind of looses it's purpose when they apply it to armored vehicles and shit.
Yemen, by far
>Live in a black earth rocky place
>uses an average clown uniform
Whelp, /k/, it's that special time of year again. In this thread, discuss fireworks, homemade explosives, and anything else of a questionable legality. What have you done in the past for the 4th? What will you be doing this year? Do you buy them or tinker yourselves?
>someone lit off a firework that was shit
>set fire to a neighbor's bush
>me and two others get up and rush to put it out
>fire's out already
>we're all just keeping water on it and blasting where smoke comes from
>neighbor(s) (all women, go figure) aren't doing shit and just standing around in the street as we keep blasting their bush
>fire comes, shoots at it, tells us thanks for trying to help, smoke is bad etc
>neighbor whines it was us to the firefighter
>fire leaves like 10 minutes later
the fourth can bring out the worst of people
>>34421292
Saw a thing on the news today that these smoke bombs are getting recalled because they could explode. I'm trying to find some before everyone takes them off the shelves.

>Fireworks are still illegal in Florida
at least I live close enough to drive into Alabama to buy them
What do I look for in a one handed combat axe?
It seems like memes. Throw a spike on the rear and it's a "combat axe". It just reminds me of the entire sword debacle. Japos fold their steel, westerners try to imitate woots with wire twisted/folded "damascus" so you're either a weaboo or a wehraboo, both are axistards. I really don't understand the role of the axe. Cavemen would put a rock on a stick and call it an axe, don't hear much about it in bronze or copper, then iron and steel a longer point apparently makes it more deadly for stabbing no matter if it's a spear poleaxe or sword.
>>34418480
Just buy something from the hardware store.
>>34418501
well yeah i could but i wanna hammer or spike on it or something like that. not really a spike but some of those have it why would you get something without it that's the meme thing.
>>34418480
buy a tomahawk, like this one from cold steel
it needs to be light enough for your DYEL arms to swing it around without you falling over
So who buys Tavor except Israel worshippers and cop killers?
The Tavor is a good rifle but I cannot answer the question posed as I fall into one of the two categories.
>>34417107
You say cop killers like it's a bad thing...
>>34417107
That guy was trained by the marines, shot 6 and just killed 3. Marines confirmed for failures
So is this the best band that sings about historical warfare?
yeah and it's not very good

Check out what I just bought! Should be at my FFL soon. You really can't beat 500 for something like this.
Also fuck academy and their refusal to honor their own price match policy
Here's the thing with the century c308:
Everyone who want a PTR knows about it. They also know that for $200~300 more, they can get a much better track record and QC than century. Either pay $500 for luck of the draw
or save 300 more and get something that is a ton more consistent.
In other words, What is $300 to you?
>>34413781
>rolling block action
wtf classic...
roller locked, you fucking monkeys.
>>34413812
>you fucking monkeys.
Why hasn't the A-10 been taken out of service?
Because it's fucking awesome?
Same reason why it's Russian cousin, the SU-25 hasn't. No matter how hard bleeding-edge futurists in both countries' governments & militaries have shilled for its retirement, both air forces have realized that they don't quite have anything close enough to replace it in that very particular ground attack role they both play, especially considering that the very situation that both planes excel could very conceivably arise in some future engagements.
>>34412205
As a bleeding edge futurist, I see nothing wrong with this post.
Muh stopping power. Would he have survived a 9mm round though?
> With one camera attached to a ladder and the other propped on the back of a car, the couple staged their stunt, according to authorities. Ruiz held the book to his chest and Perez held the gun, a gold Desert Eagle .50-caliber pistol considered “one of the most powerful semiautomatic handguns in the world.”
> From a foot away, court documents say, Perez fired.
> This time, the bullet didn’t stop in the book but instead pierced Ruiz in the chest. Medics tried to revive him, authorities said, but he was declared dead at the house.
>>34404210
People can't be this stupid.
>>34404417
It was a very thick book with hard covers. It would probably stop a 9mm but not a .50
>>34404417
What's back and white and red all over?
> the book he thought would stop the bullet
Tell me /k/, what is the idea type of grip for a handgun?
Dick
>>34427229
This.
>>34427217
I am suddenly wondering what would a realistic dick grip feel like on a firearm
Would propeller airplanes still make a difference in today's battlefield?
Lets say you command a desperate yet willing army of a shithole that has some ancient migs and gazelles in working order but a lot of propeller fighter planes.
You have decent motorized brigades with t72s, as well as 64s and 55s.
The infantry has the basic cheap package for them, ak's, rpgs, all bought at discount and doused with anti-rust chemicals and oiled.
Your enemy is foreign backed and you have a short window of time before the foreign backer comes to turn the tide.
Could a fleet of Yaks, or possibly Mustangs, Spitfires still be a deciding factor on the battlefield?
The jet powered planes could be bombers if you strap enough barrel bombs on it, or whatever you have.
Sure the prop powered planes would get shot easily but if you have enough of them, with pilots that passed a 10 day crash course of flying (as was in ww1 and 2) would it make a difference?
There are tons of ordinance to put on them and engineers to install them.

This is an OV-10 during operation against Isis in marawi, philippines.
You tell me
>>34426138

sounds like they would have infantry anti-air?

Hey /k/, I normally lurk and don't post cause I'm a /noguns/ faggot, but what do you think is going to be the next milsurp gun pouring into the US and Canada?
>inb4 Korea M1's
I dont know what it is going to be, but it's not going to be the M1s. They're going to go through the CMP, and not everyone can buy through them immediately.
I'm honestly not sure if there is going to be the next "cheap surplus"...
None. The cheap milsurp era is over forever. It was inevitable that it would happen eventually, and it has. This isn't all bad though - with it no longer true that milsurp is a good way to get a cheap shooter, bubbas will stop hacking them up to shoot durr with. From now on, milsurp is for collectors with a minimum of $300-500 in their pockets to spend on an antique.
If you want a cheap shooter, buy an AR - they're way cheap these days and will stay that way for at least a year or two.
>>34426101
The CMP will have nothing to do with those Korean M1s.
Is there an American or international equivalent to the British guards? Most of what the British guards do is ceremonial, but they also work as regular infantry. I know the Dutch and most European monarchies have guards that work similarly.
>>34425748
Army is "The Presidents 100".
>>34425808
trolling this hard.
>>34425748
American equivalent would be "The Old Guard"
>>34425833
Thanks, anon. Do their ceremonial battalions also rotate roles with the combat battalions, making sure everyone sees combat?
