this is actually an interesting topic. what are the general ideas around this? do you put a thin layer of oil on every metal part? none at all? just specific point? grease, lube or something else? what about those ceramic coating sprays?

I refuse to have 2 different types of lubes so I only use oil (slip 2000 ewl) for everything in both my ar15's and pistols.

A few weeks ago I went to a Marine Corps recruiter just to see what the Corps would be able to offer. We spoke about my goals, plans for the future, what I wanted to do while in the service, and things of that nature. Before I left, he had me choose 3 things that I felt were most important out of a list of 12 or so, and to write down what I thought each meant.

Would anyone be able to tell me if the Marine Corps genuinely offers these opportunities? I'm trying to plan long-term, and to use the military as a stepping stone for when I eventually move on to other things. I want to do Public Affairs and eventually move onto journalism.
