I found this neat pic of an A-10 refueling over Syria/Iraq a few days ago and was admiring the load out. Only thing I don't know is the black thing next to the sidewinders, is that a targeting pod?
wat
Well, I fucked that up. Heres the A-10.

I'm interested in buying a gun for personal defense. I want to have a handgun to carry on my person and in my car, my question is should I have something more powerful to keep in case of home invasions or is a handgun realistically all I need?
>>34576055
Handgun is all you'll need in case of robbery or home defence. In most cases you won't have to even shoot. But mor gunz beter gunz. If someone will try to rape your dog and you would have to kill them both (beacouse dog is now halal) shotgun is better option
>>34576055
>my question is should I have something more powerful to keep in case of home invasions
Absolutely. Even the best handguns are weak compared to a good rifle. Even the humble 30-30 can make a formidable house weapon.
>>34576055
Ideally you should have carry gun and a home gun, however if for some reason you are unable this isn't that much of a problem.
Thing is that dedicated carry gun is better at being carried(tautology), and doesn't have to be very powerful (realistically .380 auto or .38 snub is all you need, single stack 9mm is most you should go), while a dual purpose gun should have bit more fire power (glock 19-ish size double stack gun).
You watch Firebase yet?

They keep saying "methylamphetamine" in the article. Surely they mean methamphetamine right? Methylamphetamine is a shitty drug that doesn't really get you high. It's only useful as an appetite suppressant. Also, that 1911 looks like shit. If Filipino coconut niggers can make near perfect 1911s with jigs and files and shit, then Koala niggers need to step up their game

Yes and I'm sure you're a real Hathcock.

I once let a newish shoot try my Beretta 84. I showed him proper grip, proper trigger press, and sight alignment. I loaded five rounds into the magazine, and gave it to him. Five rounds later and the paper was unblemished.
This was at an outdoor range, and hes shots were hitting the cardboard backing so it wasn't all terrible, but I still felt bad for not teaching better.

Guys! This is the perfect improvised alternative to primers. Imagine a homemade rifle that used these.
https://survivial-training.wonderhowto.com/how-to/make-slammin-fire-piston-for-under-buck-0138329/
hi atf
Already have it. It's nice but not meant for rifle priming.
>>34575244
Great. What guns use it?
>>34575256
My urethra, it's a fire piston made of wood and aluminum, try using it in any gun and you'll have an accident of a painful sort.
Russia has disabled U.S. Tomahawks in Syria.
After the US Tomahawk attack on the Syrian Air base, there was some dude spamming a meme laughing about how out of 59 missiles only 23 reached the base and very few of those made any real hits.
First thing that crossed my mind were all the promo videos from Russia about their new electronic warfare capabilities. It was the only reasonable explanation. But i figured i'll look into it when things become more clear and then i forgot about it.
Today i ran into this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iC0t7gP3m2g
Any body got some additional info?
fuck off, vatnik
I'm not even a burger, I'm French
Burt the most of the missiles reached the destination, and Russia was warned before the airstrike and shooting down US missiles is an act of war you idiot dipshit
and Russia isn't soviet union, you have literally Uganda-tier economy and it's only getting worse with corruption and other shit.
Please fuck off
>>34575131
First of all i'm not Russian or anything of the sort. Second the missiles were not shot down. They were disabled, with no admittance of the Russian government that they did it, and no possible way for US to prove that they did.
Basically the political games of "we both know what you did but nether can say it".
Third....what the fuck does the Russian economy have with the discussion of weapon efficiency?
I gotta ask, are you a retarded frenchmen, a butthurt liar, or just a jew?
>>34575131
And shooting a country is an act of war.
When did the Trump Theology declare war on Syria?
Just purchased this gun used for 550. Has been shot under 10 times. Good purchase or no?
>>34574932
How do you know it's been shot under 10 times?
Also it's an okay deal.
>>34574932
>Has been shot under 10 times
What kind of person buys a gun and doesn't even shoot a full magazime through it? Nobody because that was a lie.
>>34574972
10 occasions
Think its possible lockhead or some other government contracted American global aerospace company has made a better sr-71 but we just dont know?
Honestly it's all but certain that it was replaced by something else that we don't know about. The only question is really just how many different types have replaced it.
I'd bet we're on the 2nd or 3rd generation of classified replacement types by now. I doubt it's anything that exotic, probably more along the lines of the Kingfish or a stealth supercruiser, like a YF-23 on steroids.

What would be the perfect /k/ tier game? Post what makes/breaks it for you.
>no ammo counter, have to manually check magazine a la Red Orchestra 2
>"standard" guns to please the fudds and milsurp fags, M1 Garand, M1911A1 etc
>esoteric meme rifles to please the weirdest of us, Pedersen Rifle, Bira Gun etc.
>full autismo field stripping and disassembly
>enemy damage that ACTUALLY MAKES FUCKING SENSE, based on projectile type, energy, angle, body impact location
>shotguns that don't have retard-level spread
>full autismo customization with perfectly replicated gear, to please the gear queens
>custom animations for every function, from chambering rounds to disassembly
>jams, squibs, and clearing said jams, wiping dirt and dust out of the action
>custom ammunition reloading, modify powder load, burn rate, bullet type etc
>engraving shit onto the stock
>made by an AAA publisher
Thoughts? Red Orchestra has all of the autism but none of the nice animations and slick graphics of AAA titles. BF1 tried to do esoteric meme rifles, but the game itself sucks and suffers from WE WUZ syndrome. Metro 2033 is awesome in terms of sheer /k/ and /diy/ tier lunacy, but lacks that wide selection of other titles. Can there be a way to blend all of these into the perfect game?
No.

70's cold war gone hot scenario, complete with a lot more obscure guns and bizarre attachments.
Add in a few maps called "burnpits" that was basically nuked out cities where your character has to wear a hazmat suit that limits vision, has the sky blacked out with constant ash fall so everything is almost pitch black, and have it so taking a single shot sets up a short timer before you die of radiation poisoning (if you survive the shot of course)
>>34574491
There was this one game on Steam, where it was about U.S. and Russian forces fighting in the Desert.
When you first spawned in you had to chamber a round in your gun, set the bolt, click the safety and even manually align both of your sights
There was also an emphasis on drinking water, but I don't think the game ever picked up any speed because it was just too niche/complicated, I think BluDrake42 did a video on it but I can't figure out what it was named
tell me /k/ why don't you have a microwave gun in case a burglar tries to steal your waifu while you're microwaving your tenders?
i find it more convenient to keep my gun on a small robot that follows me around, that way it's always in the same place relative to me
pic isn't my gunbot, just a similar setup

Magic, anon. Motherfucking magic.
Tell me, have you ever heard of the "Cold War?"
... but... why? I think they experimented with launching cruise missiles from C130s during the cold war, but abandoned it quickly when we realized we can already hit basically any landmass on earth with existing cruise missiles
>>34574369
I mean theoretically maybe, but there are already a range of air launched cruise missiles so it would be wasteful to adapt it
