So, I was looking for a new concealed carry gun, and I recently stumbled upon a walther ppk .380
Anyone have any experience with it, or can recommend something of a similar size?
Also, general cc thread
Just get a Bersa Thunder

looks nice, how's it handle?
>>27787185
its shit. go look at the massive amounts of FTF complaints and how sharp its edges are.
oh and its made by S&W under license....so yea....
maybe if its a genuine walther made in germany model it will be somewhat passable.
as for the gun itself, when its not constantly failing to load correctly, it has nice sights, a snappy safety, and a pretty good trigger in both DA and SA.
just get a glock43

In 2006, Crichton clashed with journalist Michael Crowley, a senior editor of the magazine The New Republic. In March 2006, Crowley wrote a strongly critical review of State of Fear, focusing on Crichton's stance on global warming.[81] In the same year, Crichton published the novel Next, which contains a minor character named "Mick Crowley", who is a Yale graduate and a Washington, D.C.-based political columnist. The character was portrayed as a child molester with a small penis.[82] The character does not appear elsewhere in the book.[82] The real Crowley, also a Yale graduate, alleged that by including a similarly named character Crichton had libeled him.[83]
Why don't you own a lever action and a wheel gun? You love guns don't you? Who cares if you never use them THEY'RE BEAUTIFUL.
Case hardening is beautiful
own a wheel gun and im convinced ill find a great deal on a pre-64 94 from someone who doesnt know what they have so i'm holding out for it.
>>27787085
No levergun for me yet, but plenty of revolvers.
If I shoved this Remington 870 up my ass and pulled the trigger, would I explode?
It would be very painful.

What's the deal with old katanas? Are they better than modern day swords?
>>27786851
>are old swords made with less metallurgical knowledge and manufacturing process's far inferior to the present day better
no
They're better than Walmart katanas

this
it's neat that they were able to get that much out of shitty pig steel but modern metallurgy is literally space age in comparison
Was Colt the original manufacturer of AR rifles?

Anyone own a p 07? There's one for $468 at my local gun shop, 2nd gen, and I really like the feel of it. I currently own zero hammer fired pistols, and I've been meaning to get a compact, decent capacity 9mm for a while now since I only own an XDS .45 and a DB9, the latter being in the shop right now for a broken trigger. I will also accept opinions of the Steyr M9A1. My desired weapon is something that I can CC but that is also more fun to shoot at the range than the XDS or DB9.

>P07
Don't expect it to be quite as corrosion resistant as a Glock and I can't imagine you'll be disappointed. That's the only semi-legitimate complaint I've heard about them.
I've had my P07 for a couple months. I first shot it with really cheap 115 grain TulAmmo. Shot like a laser, but hated the ammo. It would fail to feed every 5-6 or so rounds. Switched to 124 grain and haven't had one hiccup yet, loves it. Fits my hand like a glove. The Omega trigger is amazing, 2nd in line right behind my SRT Sig trigger.
I appreciate it, guys. I'll feed it well, my buddy has a reloading press so I can afford to do brass case.
I kinda like this Macuahuitl. It's basically a wooden club with obsidian blades.
This is my favorite

Almost finished with my first term in the Army, with reenlistment coming up I plan on Reclassing from a mechanic to infantry. Has any vets taken this route? If so, any pointers on what it may be like for prior service guys?

Question:
I have a new Glock coming in tomorrow. I've stippled polymer handgun frames and knife handles before, and have checkered walnut rifle stocks and rosewood 1911 scales.
Has anon or someone anon knows ever checkered a Glock instead of stippling? How did it look? How was the grip?
(Image is of my Dad, taken for Wikipedia a few years ago.)
Do it, and let us know.
You should google "grip tape" OP.

Are these rare in the US? From what I understand Molot isn't banned in the US.

Yeah rpk74m's are pretty fucking rare/expensive
Arsenal used to make them but they had 45 degree gas blocks for some fuck fuck reason
>>27785756
Rare, not really, expensive, hell yes. And I don't think such baby killing weapons will make it into the US...
>>27786007
Is there such thing as an RPKM?
I'm at just over 4 months now waiting on a Form 1 to be approved. What in the fuck? What are these retards checking exactly? I want to know what additional checks they do beyond what NICS does. I have a CCW permit here in GA and walk out with a gun anytime I buy one, same day. So what the fuck is the ATF actually doing other than wasting my fucking time? Does anyone know why this process is so slow and stupid?
>>27785674
>4 months waited
>NFA
>complaining
nigger get patient, I waited 10 months for my first Form 4.
Also, please input your dates into NFAtracker when you get your stamp.
>>27785717
saying you waited longer doesn't explain why there is a multi-month wait in the first place kiddo
>>27785717
I will. I've been watching it to see if anyone else who filed on 07/01 has gotten their back and the trend line says no.
Just because you waited doesn't mean any of us should. What takes then so long? What are they doing? Why does a NICS check take 10 minutes while this takes months? This is bullshit.
