When you see someone draw a certain firearm what conclusions do you come to based on their choice of firearm?
I'll start
SKS: Poor fag who wanted a AK
>>27769088
Really? Why?
They're two totally different systems that fill two totally different roles.
>1911
>Wannabe bad-ass who actually knows little about firearms
>>27769088
Any glock: those kids who got megablox when they wanted legos
>>27769088
Great bait friend
Kind of a cool enough idea. Who would win /k/? Red or Blue. Full out war, but no nukes
>>27768604
>Sandboys, Chinese and Yuropoors
>America and Russia
Is this a contest?
>>27768604
Any side America is on will win.

Is there any reason to get big knives like bowie knives, machetes, or kukris? What can a big knife do that a folding knife and axe can't?
>>27767369
>Is there any reason to get big knives like bowie knives, machetes, or kukris?
Yeah it makes women literally tear your clothes off and fuck you to death
>What can a big knife do that a folding knife and axe can't?
That shit is for faggots.

More inches on blade = more hairs on chest and inches on dick

This is a weapons board not /out/ and not a utility tool board.
This thread is in violation of the rules regarding staying on topic.
In fact it has been legally clarified that knives may not be considered as weapons utilized as such making them no different from a wrench or a hammer.
Don't be surprised if some illiterate asshat tries to report and the retarded mods give you a ban.
Are you sexually attracted to guns?
>>27766528
Yup.
>>27766528
Are you not?
>>27766528
What is /k/'s favorite gun?
Maybe it's because autism and trains, but pic related. As far as things that would be practical to own, the VSS.
>>27763616
>official gun of /k/
>not a mosin
you must be new here
But they're ALL dumbass kids with retarded parents
dat trigger discipline
I hate them both.
Terrible trigger control.
Convince me to buy a Shotgun.
Shotguns are awesome. You should buy a shotgun.
>>27756186
They are fun as fuck
Shotguns are great. If you can only have one long arm that's needed for many different uses, a shotgun is what to have.

Where do you all buy your AKs online at? Atlantic seems well liked but their prices are way higher than everyone else I've seen.
>>27756402
It's because they have decent customer service and shit. Also they get shilled a lot because reasons.
Post em'
Yep

My average edc template.
Yes I carry that pack, it's actually not that big and mostly empty, it holds my wildlife/plant/mushroom identification sheets, phone charger, bike gloves and water proof pants for when using my bicicleta. I'm always ready to go hiking or biking.

ONE WEEK REMAINING!
This is a one-day shoot out in a spot we scouted out previously in Panoche Hills.
Here are the particulars:
DATE: November 7th, 2015
TIME: 7:30 AM
ADDRESS: 46378 W Panoche Rd, Firebaugh, in the Subway parking lot.
I don't expect everyone to get up at the asscrack of dawn to get there at 7, but if you're in the area or want to help set up, it'd be great.
DIRECTIONS TO THE SPOT: Drive down W Panoche Rd, past the Subway where we're meeting. Continue down until the road ends. (It turns into private property, there are buildings around.) Turn left onto Panoche Rd proper. Continue driving for approx. two minutes until you see a circular parking lot on the right side overlooking the dry riverbed and a large, flat basin. Pic will be provided.
BULLSHIT: We will be needing tables, chairs, tarps, and food. Two people are confirmed for bringing grills, so charcoal, burgers, hot dogs, and accessories would be welcome. I have a burn permit.
Tannerite, lead, and clays are okay, and although my clay launcher -still- hasn't come in, we should have somebody else arriving with one, trap shooting is still on the menu.
If anybody's scared about getting pinched, for tannerite, I'll mix it for you.
Bring tunes, targets, and trash bags.
(Somebody's also bringing a box of cigars, someone pick up eyepatches for dank memes.)
Sounds good
I'll bring home baked brownies ;)
EMAIL LIST AND SLACK
To get on the email list, reply to this post with your burner. I'll add you and send you an invite to our Slack. (It's pretty much a mini-chan.) where we discuss bullshit and carpooling.
If Slack doesn't tickle your dick, don't accept the invite. I'll still be sending out the information via email.
Pic is the parking area mentioned above.
>>27738340
Finally you hold a /K/alifornia meetup and it's the better part of a thousand miles from me.
Oh well. I don't care. I'll just sit here and fondle my guns all by myself. I am a ROCK! I am an ISLAND!
/bursts into tears
Today is the day Canada, I hope you all remembered to plan your boating trip the numbers aren't looking good.

pls no
Enlighten us further.

Today is our federal election. The current government can be considered relatively friendly to firearms owners, but the other two main parties are not. The current government is the subject of a very coordinated media and activism campaign aimed at making sure it looses power.
The polls are projecting that this will happen.
Our gun ownership has never been guaranteed, but for the last four years it has not been in jeopardy. Today this could very well change.
I have been dreading this all summer.
i just found out this is a thing. i'm considering buying one, but i want to know if it's shit or not. has anyone fucked around with one? is it worth it?
Slamfire/10
>>27587569
They're fine mechanically. Finish isn't the best but it's not bad. Lots of fun to slamfire.
So long as you don't overpay for one I highly recommend them, along with their 1887 lever shotgun clone.

>>27587027
Showing your (meagre) SIGINT capabilities on youtube seems like a nice way to get the russians to change tactics. If I had the capability to listen to what my enemy has to say, I wouldn't throw the opportunity through the window just so I can boast in the internet about it.
>>27587027
Nice tech Ahmed.
As if the Russians care. They'll just keepisode carpet bombing any city not in Assad's control.
Does anyone own, or has anyone used any Sako rifles? Looking at buying a Sako 85.. trying to find some opinions on them
>>27586574
Some of the best rifles for the money. Incredibly accurate too. Imo the only downside is the price.
Very good rifles.
But you can get a good rifle for less money if you buy Japanese. The Howa 1500 is sold under like 10 different brand names, they're solid guns for a good price.
If you're on a tight budget go with the Howa, if not go with the Sako.
Top tier amongst non custom bolt guns.
