Anybody hear how much of a failure gun control Australia had today?
>prepare for protest of lever action shotgun (2nd pic related) "before it enters the country" (again, pic related is mine) in the same square as the Sydney ISIS related hold up afew months back
>pro guns find out and plan protest
>they move it to a park nearby 2 hours before
>most guns groups still find out and react
>move it to a private room of government building
>nobody shows up but presenters and reporters
>only 3 pro gun guys make it in however
>standing quietly until given a chance to speak and then debunk everything with facts
>media rushes too them over the GCA party
>end up running anti guns stories everywhere about the "words that were fired today when sensible gun control supporters and gun violence victims were attacked by pro gun activists"
>fuck this country
>pic related is the GCA "mass protest"
like I said, muh adler
Is not the anti's that are the main problem it's the fudds that wont get of their arses to support our cause
>>27799421
agreed, "as long as you dont take muh bolt action"
not to mention inner city trendies that have no fucking idea
My girlfriend wants me to find her a backpack. I don't know the first thing about fashion, so I thought it'd be smart to go to somewhere where a lot of people do know about fashion.
They told me to go here, due to the fact that we need function, not form.
She wants a backpack, which she said she wants to be
>able to carry a lot of weight
>ideally made of a material that things can be stitched into
>lots of pockets
>doesn't look disgusting
>ideally not too pricey but if it's worth it, it's worth it
Could somone point me in the right direction as to where to look?

>Could somone point me in the right direction as to where to look?
Anywhere but here, fuck off.
>>27799262
>gf wants something that will carry a lot of weight
Kek
Buy a bag you like, you'll be the one carrying it 99 percent of the time
/k/ommandos, show each other your war face and war paint!

Why do white ppl feel it necessary to steal shit from other cultures to feel like "warriors"?
>>27799081
Out of curiosity, anyone ever seen these in person or better yet ever shot one?
It looks alright, CnC machined bits always do, but would it be awkward to shoot because it's lighter?
Is it still all just regular AR10 internals?
>poorfags need not apply
>>27798977
Obvious troll is obvious
I couldn't find any listed weight for the AR-10. I did find an estimated weight of the AR-15 Nomad: 5.75lb. That's not super light for an AR. Decently light but not the insane ultra light they're acting like it is. An AR-15 with carbon fiber pieces can reach 5lb. I doubt the AR-10 is all that light if all they can get with the AR-15 is 5.75lb
>>27798977
I would rather have the extra couple ounces of weight than a shitty wreck like that.
>inb4 poorfag
I know nothing about this manufacturer except that this rifle looks like a garbage hack job for the sake of being special.
What do you people think about these reciprocating charging handles on AR-15 platform?
>>27798920
why the fuck would anyone want to add a reciprocating changing handle to anything?
the less external moving parts the better
>>27798942
>muh forward assist
>>27798942
Try charging an ar15 while prone
it would also allow you to use cheek raisers
My first gun was a Remington 700. The scope was atrocious. It had little eye relief, and the reticle turned when I adjusted the magnification. After the infamous trigger recall, I sent my Remington in for recall work. The trigger came back as heavy as a bulldozer, so I replaced it with a Timney. Because the new trigger's bolt release got stuck, causing the bolt to come out of the rifle when it wasn't supposed to, I had to take the whole thing apart and oil the bolt release. When I rescrewed it, the trigger guard cracked, so I had to order a new one. After installing the new trigger guard, I could barely open the bolt. The action screws were pressing against the bolt lugs and left a deep, tell-tale scratch. At this point, I gave up on Remington. I sold the rifle to a pawn shop and bought a foreign-made rifle. Old timers used to say that Remington 700s from decades ago were among the best guns in the world. What happened?
>>27798849
I thought remington became part of a new corporate group a couple years back? That's when they went to shit.
My father's rem 700 is by far one of the most wonderful rifles I've ever used.
>>27798849
I bought a Remington 870 3 years ago. The stock isn't flush with the receiver and the forestock was loose. I functions fine but it just feels cheap.
I got a remi 1911 a few years ago and it works like a charm. It's probably luck of the draw
Is this a good starting revolver, /k/? The only other pistol I own is a Glock 17 Gen 4.
>>27798813
It is a most excellent revolver, if you like wheelguns.
>>27798844
That's what I've heard. Can you comment on Ruger vs. Smith & Wesson? In terms of reliability and durability.
>>27798851
In case you're still monitoring:
S&Ws are generally more fine and have better triggers.
Rugers are just as good, but less finely finished. They're also built like fucking tanks, and can take virtually any load you put in them
Either way is great, can't go wrong with either
Decided on getting a PAP M92.
Any comments?

What do you carry? I'm thinking officer framed 1911.

Alright /k/ommandos.
I need a small knife I can fit on a keychain for opening boxes and the like. But something that also could be used for other stuff, reliably, something that can take some heavy use.
If there is nothing like that, just recommend me the best possible pocket knife in your opinion.
>>27798583
What you seem to be looking for is a small fixed blade, cause keychain folders can be flimsy as hell.
Are you okay with neck knives? Cause the ESEE Izula or the CRKT Folts Minimalist are pretty solid choices.
>>27798603
I'm ok with any type of knife, so long as it will work.
>>27798583
SOG Key knives are pretty sturdy thanks to the lockback, just uncomfortable to hold and use.
Which Euro country has the absolute worst army and could easily be invaded by an average force like let's say Italy?
I'm thinking one of the microstates.
Assuming nobody backed them up, I don't think Lichtenstein actually has a military. I'm pretty sure they don't even have police, because Germany does that for them.
>Italy
>average
This is what spaghetti niggers actually believe
Other than that, try Benelux and other small countries
>>27798282
Actually, Switzerland does.
They're bound by treaty to defend them, too, but the Swiss army should still be manageable for a larger force
I just showed my power level by responding to this picture with the following: Well if we're going by the exact legal definition word for word then as stated in U.S. Code › Title 10 › Subtitle A › Part I › Chapter 13 › § 311 it means the following:
(a) The militia of the United States consists of all able-bodied males at least 17 years of age and, except as provided in section 313 of title 32, under 45 years of age who are, or who have made a declaration of intention to become, citizens of the United States and of female citizens of the United States who are members of the National Guard.
(b) The classes of the militia are—
(1) the organized militia, which consists of the National Guard and the Naval Militia; and
(2) the unorganized militia, which consists of the members of the militia who are not members of the National Guard or the Naval Militia.
(Aug. 10, 1956, ch. 1041, 70A Stat. 14; Pub. L. 85–861, § 1(7), Sept. 2, 1958, 72 Stat. 1439; Pub. L. 103–160, div. A, title V, § 524(a), Nov. 30, 1993, 107 Stat. 1656.)
I have some additional recommended reading that pertains to this topic in case anybody's interested.
District of Columbia v. Heller:
The Second Amendment guarantees an individual's right to possess a firearm unconnected with service in a militia, and to use that arm for traditionally lawful purposes, such as self-defense within the home. United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit affirmed.
McDonald v. City of Chicago
The Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms for self defense in one's home is fully applicable to the states through the Fourteenth Amendment. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit reversed and remanded.
I hope that clears it up for everyone
The reply was a link https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/the-five-extra-words-that-can-fix-the-second-amendment/2014/04/11/f8a19578-b8fa-11e3-96ae-f2c36d2b1245_story.html
Can I get some help in breaking down this link and countering it?
The Second Amendment clearly implies that the militia is to be well-regulated. That is not the same thing as implying or stating that -gun ownership- is to be regulated.
By anti 2A logic, the 14th amendment leaves a clear precedent for denying people from voting rights for all sorts of reasons as long as those reasons don't include race or status as a former slave.
>>27798045
What's to counter? By posting that link, they admit that the second amendment doesn't say what they want it to say. . . and that they need to CHANGE it to remove firearms.
So - you won. I would just respond with, something along the lines of 'hey, good luck with getting those words added. Until you manage that, enjoy shutting the fuck up. Faggot'

>The big bad gun lobby ermagherd are reading private ownership into an amendment in which it doesn't exist. They are monsters.
>But watch me literally insert my own words into the amendment even though, as a barrister, I should understand that jurisprudence evolves and incorporation isn't a new thing.
