Semi-new anon here, quick question: Why are tripfags bad? On a anonymous website, some people may want the ability to be recognized when they post, what's the problem? Is it too much like leddit, does everything need to be anonymous, or is there something else? To keep it /k/ , what machine gun would you use to mow them down and what's it run for $$wise?
Pic related, the last m60 Ive seen went for 40k.
>>28027864
For dedicated threads or OP discussion threads theyre okay, but there's always a fat handful of assholes who will shitposting with names/trips on and be generally insufferable.
Even when it's benign it can feel like you're trying to get attention for your name rather than your content.
>>28027882
Gotcha, many thanks
>>28027864
Not all of us are bad, and a lot try to actually help anons who have questions
>what mg to mow them down?

Hey /k/, I am want to start upgrading my gear from surplus to more modern stuff.
Looking for a chest rig right now. I don't need plate carries or lots of room for ammo as I only own full-sized long guns and have no need for 20+ mags.
I own a Swedish belt set right now and I am looking into stuff like the m83 battle jacket.
Any suggestions?
Tl;dr: rigs like m83 battle jacket
saw it first in mad max
also saw it in district 9

OP, just get a current standard army FLC (fighting load carrier) for $15 off amazon in whatever color you want. then order mag pouches (about $7) of whatever type and color you want. then set it up yourself

I guess this is a little stale, but what does /k/ think about these new higher-end gun clubs that are opening now? Most interestingly, they're apparently bringing in a lot of new women shooters.
They're fine. I'm a member of one since the nearest "fun/no rules" range is an hour away. It's just a good range to actually get some dedicated practice in and it so happens to be nearby.
The one I'm part of has a simulation room and very clean facilities.
I think it's good more women are joining the hobby as well. The ROs are all totally 'proliberty' and you'll never hear anyone talk about how great biometric fingerprint scanners on guns are good. I think before now, gun ownership was mostly viewed as a "white man's hobby" and alot of the population felt unable to partake. This can only help secure 2nd amendment rights.
I even got my 61 year old mother to join and buy a gun after she's been a liberal Democrat most of her life.

>high end clubs
>OP posts pic of basic bitch AR
>>28028188
At best it's an SBR. Otherwise, someone took an AR pistol, slapped a rigid stock on it, and shoulder fired it.
That's a felony, OP. Don't get arrested.
Is it safe to assume that 4.5 gen Euro canards will be done on the international market after F-35 is fully operational?
Why would anyone buy a 4.5 gen plane when you can have 5 gen plane at similar price?
>A jet with zero combat experience will force jets that have 10 years of proven combat capability and technology out of the market
"No"

This.
F35 is already done
Alright /k
Long story short,
>i have always considered myself a pretty passive, non violent person
>getting robbed at gunpoint will change that
I want a 12 gauge shotgun that holds at least four shots in it, is reliable, and economical on the wallet.

Not gonna happen considering orders keep increasing.
Found this bullet, probably a .45 on the street. My question is, based on the same you can see in pic, what or how did it come to rest the way it did with the damage it has?
It was fired, and it looks like a glancing ricochet.
Another
It looks like most of the damage was caused from it getting run over by cars. I can't explain how it ended up in the street without a lot of deformation, though
>Basic training will tear you down and then build you back up
How does that work, exactly?
>>28027381
It doesn't. It is a basic endurance test seeing if you will chimp out when working within a defined series of rules and with achievable goals.
>>28027381
That's just a cliche.
>tear you down
They make fun of your small willy till you cry
>build you back up
They issue you viagra and a hooker with orders to fuck

What are some things you do when shooting with friends? Do you cover safety at the range or beforehand? And how do you handle ammo costs?
Taking a no-guns (as in doesn't own, never shot.) to the range Monday, not sure how to approach this.
>>28027306
At the risk of sounding like a douche, I have always given a basic safety brief. Even when out innawoods camping. Stuff like which area is safe direction, ammo loading point, eyes and ear safety, rules on muzzle awareness, arc of fire, where the med-kit is, what is and is not a target and stuff.
Never had any non-gunz challenge or gripe about it. Most in fact seem pretty ok with it.
This is how I won over a very non-gunz cousin (super anti gun) when he finally came innawoods camping. He thought that we would be full retard drunk and blasting the fuck out of everything. (... although the drunk bit did happen later)

You have been chosen by your District, along with one other /k/ommando, to play in the annual Hunger Games.
You are in the circle, facing off your opponents, ready to make a move for the weapons.
What do you grab when the game begins? Assume that firearms are somewhat limited.
a sling
plentiful ammo
high stopping power
easily carried

>we both squat on a limb facing eachother
>Tale shots of potato water until one of is falls to their death

How legal is it to have concertina wire around your property? Also, fortification thread
>>28027137
In the US? Legal.
>>28027137
Concertina wire?
Son, what you need for a proper fortification is a shovel and some concrete
>>28027137
Depends on local ordinance in US. Your homeowners association could have a problem with it. You could also be held liable for someone cutting themselves on it.
i really want an mp5 because lets face it who doesnt, but i really cant justify spending over $1600 on a $400 stamped metal gun with a $1200 reputation. i dont really want a skorpion because thats already like $900 and there is 0 aftermarket or surplus since it is brand spankin new. wat do.
also pcc thread i guess.
So don't fucking buy it?
>>28027127
perhaps you can get one later when you arnt such a poorfag.? Or save up and get it? or get something else? fucking gun buying isnt rocket science
>>28027140
gee good idea why didnt i think of that
What's /k/'s favorite innawoods knife?
I picked up an ESEE 6 a few weeks ago and I finally got a chance to use it. Other than a few fine cuts for tenderloins and the back strap, it wasn't too much knife to clean a deer.
I also value the ability to baton fire wood, as rarely as I may need to. It's nice to have the option.
