What makes something "mallninja"?
I just got this because it's a $30 short sword, and I'm arguing with myself whether it's mallninja or not.
>>29489192
no fucking argument
you're a mallninja
Everything is mallninja.
>>29489192
>$30 all black short sword with 3 inches of serration
mallninja as fuck like 12/10
New 20 round mag for 9mm hipoint carbines. Looks fucked up but supposedly works better than the shitty promags
>>29489103
id get a highpint carbine if these were realible
Why can't anyone make a very long single feed double stacked magazine instead of having one huge single feed single stack magazine.
Just never go prone
Hey /k/, I would like your assistance in identifying some of these rifles, I can't tell what any of those in the left column are, I think the 2nd from the top is an FN-FAL but not sure?
pls halp
here is a side view
dont think this one helps but whatever
last one a view of the whole stash
So I've never put much thought into being prepared before but a few months ago I got a new neighbor. He's this delightful elderly Christian-prepper and we met after I invited him to come to a men's ministry group I'm a part of. Since then he's really got me thinking a lot about being prepared to help others and I believe that this is something I should do. There is no better tactical board than /k/ ( Luv ya, guys! ) and I figured I'd make my first stop here. I found this a few days ago ( see vid below, pic related ) and it seems like a decent first-purchase at the cost of $25 via Walmart.

He's going to rape you
>>29489082
Don't go any further! >.> I'm confident he wouldn't be able to or want to.
So how is Schrade as a company? I had one of their knives as a kid but I heard they closed allowing a new company to open under the name and manufacture in China. Only reason I havn't bought the pen or any of their knives yet.
>>29489070
It's got a good rape whistle, I'd keep it on you so the ministry guy doesn't get to rape you... unless it's not rape
FAMAS is shit, and literally everybody knows it.
Also it looks stupid.
>>29488989
Its accurate as fuck though.
>>29488989
its not shit
french make good firearms
>>29488989
I am salty as fuck that no company is making a semi-only "totally not a FAMAS" and releasing it to the North American markets. I love the look.
I've had an idea concerning making a simple and relatively cheap gas seal revolver that doesn't use special snowflake ammo.
Essentially its a taurus judge with a nagant revolver mechanism and a pancor jackhammer style cylinder/barrel interface (barrel forcing cone presses into a conical depression at the mouth of the chamber, expanding crimp of the shotshell seals any small gap left between the two).
I was also thinking six o'clock barrel because that allows you to use a fuckhueg suppressor without blocking the sights. I also thought you could make an eccentric cylindrical suppressor about the height of the frame, that can also be used on .45 acp pistols upside down (one twist difference in threading between the revolver and the .45's threading)
As too why: because you touch yourself at night
Enjoy your 50 pound trigger pull
>>29488938
have you sent this to kel tec yet?
>>29488949
I'm thinking 5 shot cylinder to reduce travel, rotating and camming forward done by the same part, etc. to reduce trigger pull.
Or just make it an auto revolver.
Does anyone here own a lever-action rifle? How do you like them compared to bolt action or semi-auto? Are there any obvious lemons besides pre-2015 Marlins?
I'm considering one in 30-30 myself. It seems like a decent round for plinking and shooting whitetail.
I'd take a .243 over 30-30 any day of the week tbqh. Lever actions are neat though
>>29488919
Yeah, but who sells lever-action .243? Remington and Marlin don't appear to.
There is literally a thread up of this on the front page
Fucking kill yourself
Chief Joe Medicine Crow-High Bird has died at 102.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joe_Medicine_Crow
I have started a White House petition to get the next Army helicopter or tiltrotor named after him and his tribe.
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov//petition/have-us-army-name-their-next-helicopter-or-tiltrotor-crow-honor-joe-medicine-crow-high-bird-and-his-tribe
Please help me get it signed.
>Name the next helicopter the "High Bird".
Seems kinda redundant, anon.
>>29488918
It would be the Crow, dingus.
An improved variant could be the Crow War Chief.
F. Signed.
Anyone here have experience with commercially built lorica segmentata armor? im going to be using it for some small reenactment next year (no, not a christian thing) Im feeling unsure about the quality of the brass pieces that make up the binding parts.
any recommendations where to find a decent one?
>not being a ferrarius
>not fabricoring your own set
>>29490245
>ferrarius
ive not got the time nor the tools for that
>>29488834
>no, not a christian thing
why would Roman reenactment be a Christian thing?
Seriously though, what are we going to do if one of these antis gets elected?
>in b4 some bernie bot shill
he wants a fucking assault weapon ban, to ban private sales, and to pretty much ban guns in cities
>>29488738
We kobby, we vote in pro gun congressmen and representatives.
We also host classes on basic economics so we can hopefully avoid a democratic socialist nominee in the future.
>>29488738
You take this shit to /pol/
And then you vote in your state and local elections for senators and house members who are in line with your rights as a citizen. Obama was able to do shit when the repubs held Congress, for a good fucking reason.

Whats the practicality of knives with knuckle guards?
I can imagine they would be useful for the one time you may get into a knife fight but impractical for every other use, and even then you would have to be able to thread your fingers in at a moments notice.
>>29488728
Pros-you can punch your enemies like a mafia then stab them like a nigger
Cons-the guard handles would often break the users fingers
>>29488728
Helps the police know who to arrest.
Rule of cool
CG artist here, I make guns for movies and video games.
My biggest problem is getting my hands on good reference material, including the internal parts of guns. Do you guy know of any good places to find detailed reference material? (the more detailed, the better)
I live in a European country where guns are illegal (which sucks), so I can't just go out and buy stuff either.
Also, post your favorite gun that you'd like to see in movies / videos game, but rarely (or never) see.
>>29488530
Great for inner parts and mechanical coherence
http://store.steampowered.com/app/262410/?l=english
For detailed measurements you probably need to cross reference with wikipedia or maybe there are better sources.
Most guns that were in Deadfall Adventures
Colt cap and ball revolvers. Only one to pull off the cylinder change reload that i know of was Darkest of Days. Crappy game mechanics but great idea
>>29488593
thanks, yeah I know of world of guns, it's great for getting to know how all the parts are assembled, but to recreate a weapon as accurately as possible, I'd need measurements, and wikipedia doesn't have much (mostly just weapon length, weight and barrel length)
>>29488732
Google up some blueprints
Or use the known lengths from Wikipedia and use them as yardsticks for the rest of the gun
>barrel is 16", receiver is about 1/2 the length of the barrel, so the receiver is about 8" long
Anyone know where to find some good pictures of the "Mateba_2006"? I'd also like to find some side shots of the stubby version if any at all available.
I've been thinking of checking airsoft sites, however i'm unsure if they are accurate.
>>29488527
there's a handful of anons who actually own them.
just keep the thread bumped until one of them shows up.
>>29488527
Those things are rare theses days.
Still, I've got this. I'm not entirely sure why it doesn't have that extruded edge on the top like yours does on the barrel.
There must be different variants or models.
>>29488547
That's a great picture, thanks!
Hi /k/, just sat down and watched Fury. I enjoyed it and thought it was alright and hard some good action - even if the last part was slightly unbelievable.
What are your thoughts on Fury?
What are other good /k/ approved tank movies?
>>29488526
Im not autistic with tanks so I enjoyed the movie a lot.
The tank battles were really cool to see, but the plot and the guys fighting on the ground looked like pure garbage.
>Shoulder fire my rifle onto nazi dudes hiding inna forest and hit my target
>>29488568
Fuggg meant hip fire
Small repost
Military related question: why do so many SF guys have white supremacist tattoos?
Some background this time so the thread doesn't get shitcanned again: I met a guy who has this tattooed on his inner forearm. I know what it is because I was a thoroughly aspie teenager and really into werewolves and so I drew it on my hand a few times for fun before I knew what it was. The guy I mentioned is probably the third or fourth SF guy I've met, out of maybe a dozen, to have vaguely WS tattoos (the other guys had Celtic crosses; admittedly, one was Polish). They were mostly nice to me, as a black dude, so I'm wondering if maybe it's just a camaraderie thing removed from its original meaning or what.
>>29488486
A lot of white supremacist symbols come from things like Viking runes and mythology. So do a lot of badass warrior stuff. While there's probably some overlap, there's also probably a lot of separation.
>>29488515
There's a guy in my unit who has some of the Nazi symbols as tats and says its some old symbol like what anon above says
>>29488486
It is incredibly unfortunate that runes and lots of other cool symbols have been co-opted by white power to the point that people have forgot their original meanings and made having them social suicide.
This Valknut, for instance, is incredibly badass, with a long heritage, but is used by some white supremacists so I am hesitant to display it in public.
