Nightclubs are for fags anyway.

Why am I entering a popular nightclub
How do you know I am carrying
Where am I
Is this a dream

Oberez w/ bayonet
It's so loud no one will come check it out

Wish me luck.

Those knuckles are borderline useless if you can't connect with power. Take martial arts class if you're concerned about hand to hand fighting.

I just whacked 2 possums with my trusty, gusty, never rusty Marlin model 60
Not a special gun or a noteworthy shot....I just hate possums.

I am interested in your thoughts, experiences, and dreams of the .300 blackout round. This is fascinating to me. Thank you.

Needless to say, I love the suppressing capability is has and bought an MCX in .300 BO for this purpose.
Has become my GT home defense

I'm ready to take the plunge and get my first handgun. After firing a few at the range, I settled on a glock no no one's surprise, but I have a few questions:
Gen 3 vs 4: is there any real reason to get one over the other?
New or used: The sights on the gen 4 I rented weren't very good, and I hear that ex-LE g19s often have good sights on them, but I can't find a single one in stock on any website under $600 and none of my LGS have them in stock. Should I just get it new and get used to the standard sights?
How does FFL transfers work exactly with handguns compared to just buying one?
Thanks guys.
>>29484567
All sidearms should be Glocks and all Glocks should be Glock 19's.
I have a Glock 19.
Do you have a Glock 19?
>gen 3 vs 4
Literally no reason to get one over the other apart from personal preference. The differences are minimal but if you really want to split hairs handle both before you buy. The best option is to buy whichever is cheaper.
>New or used
Depends. You can get a new glock for $500-550. You can get a used glock for $450-500. Does the extra $50-100 matter to you? As long as it wasn't beat to shit it'll still work just fine and you can replace every single part at your leisure or as needed making it good as new.
FFL transfers are exactly the same as just buying from a shop, except with an extra step first. You need to tell the gunshop you need a transfer and to send their FFL information to whoever you're buying from, and then they'll ship it there. Easy peasy.

Listen to this guy, anon. He knows what he's talking about. Though if you do buy a used fun, make sure it's from a reputable source (a close friend, family, an actual real, deal gun shop, or a gun show). I wouldnt recommend buying from some guy you've never met or a pawn shop.
Well /k/. How did I do? Paid 150 with tax for it.
Have you measured the exact barrel caliber?
Post barrel pics.

Boy OP did you shit the bed on this one.
Forgive me all I have is my phone.
Hey guys. What's a good bag for transporting a taken-down AR-15?
This one looks about perfect for me, but is a little spendy:
http://www.larue.com/covert-rifle-case-mkII
Any other recommendations?
>>29484487
When I had a 16" carbine I'd use a regular tennis racquet bag with a piece of foam to divide the two parts, worked perfectly and didn't have to explain shit to neighbors
>>29484487
I use a blackhawk "diversion" bag that looks like a tennis racquet bag and has a divider for the upper and lower. A bit more lo profile moving the rifle to/from the car to home.
Anything cheaper would be crap. In the realm of what you are looking for, that is reasonably priced. Just save your pennies and get that.
Also that is not "covert" it doesn't look like an instrument or camera case. It screams gun bag.
I like to check Armslist/Gunbroker on the hope I will find a short barrel for my M37 (I don't dare cut it, and I don't really want to give Ithaca $300 for one).
I saw this today. I would like to think it is a joke. I don't think it is.

I have literally never heard of people doing this.
do u think this guy will shoot himself?
>>29484408
he's a three gun competitor.
I'd give it a pretty low chance.

>>29484424
the guy who blew his leg off with an explosive filled lawn mower was a three gun competitor too
Where can I go to learn about military history and weapons technology past present and future?
Since the "History" channel isn't even trying anymore.
I miss being able to turn on the History Channel and Weapons At War would be on.
I also miss Discovery Wings.
History channel documentaries were all propoganda shill anyway
>>29484296
>History Channel
More like the Holocaust Channel, it's all they ever showed besides MASH and shitty movies.
>go with a friend and his new norinco sks to the range
>lots of ammo on some questionable stripper clips
>first loads and fires fine
>second magazine experiences a chain fire
>maybehejustbumpfiredonaccident.jpg
>I go to shoot
>load another clip
>first four shots are good
>fifth shot is a three round burst
>wtfisthisshit.mp4
>Meanwhile the stripper clips keep on failing to load
>resort to manually loading the gun
>go to fire again
>two round chainfire
>bolt locks halfway open
>shell casing is stuck in the breech
>next round has been horribly disfigured
Then we took it back to the funstore where they gave my friend a refund. He's gonna get another one at their other location later this week because he already bought 1000rnds of ammo. And the worst part? We had to drive like an hour each way to go to a place where we could shoot the damn thing.
Of all the things that didn't happen this didn't happen the most

how important is food distribution in the modern battlefield? Couldn't we just have our soldiers source their food locally or scavenge it off the corpses of the enemy?
>>29484141
Why not just have them eat the dead? Food supply is taken care of and so is corpse disposal.
>>29484141
>scavenge it off the corpses of the enemy
Have you ever actually been outside?
>>29484141
No
Foraging or other means of supplying off the local economy is stupid. It is a good way of getting all your soldiers sick or starving because you there is nothing to eat in the war zone.
Soviets tried supply locally in Afghanistan. It went horribly.
