(Not him) because the hole is further down the blade than the pm2 or most benchmades its slightly slower but you can still flick it open fairly easily, and you can make it very fast by putting your wrist into it. The closest knife i've had to it is the endura 4

Hey /k/, what do you think it will be like when China finally makes a move on Japan, America fumbles coming to the call, and Japan finally starts up their own military again in earnest?
Obviously they're gonna kinda suck from 50+ years of not really existing, but I think the nips would really have a go at it since A. Japan already through and through seems to fetishize the military B. Not wanting to lose whatever their next conflict is and be militaryless for another 50+ years.

NJ fag here. 2 stories
One, some off duty cop got drunk and shot someone so now there are news reports about how it is "legal in NJ to drink and cc" even though only cops and millionaires are allowed to cc.
Second. DC courts told DC they can go fuck themselves and that the "good reasons" clause for cc is unconstitutional. So NJ might get cc someday. Thing is we also have a law that says once "smart guns" go on the market all handguns sold must be smart guns. So I want to get a cc gun now incase smart guns become a thing and scotus let's us cc.
What gun should I get? I was thinking 9mm sub compact single stack. The one I was mainly thinking was an xds because it has a grip safety. I heard the ccp is pretty cool. What's the best 9mm subcompact to get?

Of course it's effective. Nixon dropped so many bombs on Cambodia that the NVA were forced into the Paris Accords. I wouldn't call it genocide, but carpet bombing is not meant to be precise and everyone understood that the collateral damage to civilians would be great. The same logic brought both Germany and Japan down in ww2.
It's not fancy nowadays mostly due to how wars are fought. Namely, Bush understood that he couldn't keep the media out of the middle east so carpet bombings typically were not the MO, as "targeted strikes" were easier to play off. This is how drones became so popular in the past decade, despite the technology for them existing much longer beforehand.

My point here is that it's effective but the political circumstances have to permit. WW2 was a situation where everyone was actively on board with carpet bombing, Vietnam was so-so (enough to secure peace with honor) and Iraq a no-no.
