Ok /k/, so you're out camping in the desert and suddenly you become acutely aware that your friend/fucktoy has been eaten by a graboid. What's your optimal loadout?

Googled "FMK Review". First thing that came up.

I'm sure this thread has been done to death but as a recent /K/onvert im interested in serious opinions.
Wife cannot shoot anything heavier than a .22 LR accurately due to being very petite, even with regular professional firearms instruction (not me) at local range.
I bought her NAA Black Widow (pic very related) and she is delighted, hitting ten ring with it @ 15 yards. Using HQ .22LR ammo never a misfire - she is confident as fuck and ready to throw down if necessary. Why would I ever want to transition her to .38 when she has already tried it and hated it? RFK was taken down by a .22 short, the LE from "The Thin Blue Line" was taken out by a .22 short as well. Innumerable people have been taken out by .22LR body shots at close range and I know from a friend's experience that getting shot by a .22 is immensely painful and debilitating, even if it is in an extremity (in his case the leg), what's the point of pushing women into "serious" self protection calibers if it means they can't handle them effectively and would be afraid to use them?
.22 mag.
>>30005438
From a 2" barrel there is no ballistix advantage and a lot more flash and noise fuxing up follow up shots. I did some research:

911 in speed dial and training to find the nearest corner to hide in because she's a bitch
Is there going to be a practical reason for anyone to own another semiautomatic rifle, besides cost, once this thing ships?

Oh boy OP. They are already on track to miss their latest ship date. And they're not announcing any new info at the NRA show.

I'm considering enlisting in the Army/Navy/Chair Force for the EOD. Has anyone here had experience with it before?
Give a fellow /k/ommando some advice
>>30005144
What would you like to know specifically?
It's pretty hard, at least USMC EOD is. Navy EOD seems like the sickest gig, since you get to go through BUD/S I think?
>>30005159
Advice specifically.
I know I'm going to go a bunch of places bast basic and the 40 weeks of special training they have. What should I expect beyond that? Crazy shit happening all the time?
How important is it to be able to shoot a gun before you buy it? I just got my permit and I'm trying to buy my first handgun. Unfortunately, the shop near me does not have a range or any sort of rental procedure.
I picked up and held a bunch of guns but the two that I really liked the feel of were a 1911 and the cz 75 b. Is it smart to just buy a gun based on how it feels in your hands, without shooting it?
>>30004940
What's important is to see how it feels in your hand. You can look up YouTube reviews to get an idea of how it shoots.
>>30004940
That and reviews, CZ 75s are /k/ approved as are 1911s provided they are made by a decent company.
If its your first handgun I'd say get the CZ 75. 9mm is cheaper and the maintenance on it is easier than on the 1911.

I never tried any gun that I've bought. I've been extremely lucky though, as my carry gun fits me like a glove.
The ATF just approved a collapsible pistol 'brace'.
It's for the mpx, but I'd imagine that other variants are coming soon!
http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2016/05/19/breaking-news-sb-tactical-collapsing-brace/
>>30004844
pretty surprising. but when you think about it, having the brace be adjustable makes perfect sense if you use it like its intended.
I'm a fan of my Px4. But I've never had a P-07, so I'm not the guy to ask.
Wish the fucking thing came with night sights though.
Does the PX4 still shit itself so hard you need a mallet to fix it?
I like the p07. I was op of a general p07 thread about a week ago and some people saod they were shit some said they were amazing and super reliable.
Is a Good Dog better than a good gun?
Pros of doggo:
1. cuddle
2. licks your penis if you put peanut butter on there
3. loves you
4. removes home intruder
5. is your best friend
Cons of doggo:
1. will die someday
Pros of gun:
1. removes anyone you want removed
2. never dies unless you do something stupid
Cons of gun:
1. doesn't love you

Not exactly a fully weapon related thread, but has anyone here ever had success making an Airsoft field gun? Or some form of cannon that uses Pyrotechnics as a propellant?
Any other combinations or chemicals to use would be appreciated.

What does /k/ think of production model T-50?
They took all the prototype experiments and put it into this, it has stealth S-ducts for reduced RCS, it has long nose for very fast speed, it has flat bottom that bounces off radar waves. It has livery against dogs on airfields.
Wait... what?

You mock it but the Tejas is better than the Gripen. India is truly proving that it is a military exporter for the 21st century.
How good would one of these be for bear defense?
>>30004404
You'd fuck up and not get it because bears run fast in attack mode.

Then I take him to Valhalla with me and we feast with the gods
As dubious as it seems, Glock 20's are pretty commonly used for it.
What's the best pistol grip for a pistol grip only setup on a maverick 88? Would hacking and sanding the original stock down make a decent grip?
