So /k/ the summer is almost here, lets see if we can come up with some new challenges.
These are from 2013
>>29995787
A cowboy/courier challenge would be fun. Just survive out in the desert or something.
>>29995787
Some friends and I were talking about doing a /k/aveman type challenge where we all use non-gun weapons and just survive in the woods for 5 days. We'd have bows and hatchets and knives for weapons, and some basic starting food and cantines and shit, but we'd be near-naked just sort of surviving around a creek.
>>29995787
The grey man challenge.
You work a 9-5, own a house, and pay bills for 50 years and then die.
How do we ban weapon bans?
We could write ”shall not be infringed” in a constitutional amendment about arms.
>>29995700
It's too bad that nukes aren't consider arms. I'd like the rights to bear nukes if otherwise.
>>29995700
That might not work by itself, maybe we should also make sure to say "the people" have the right to bear arms.
Would it actually have rust issues if I dunked it into the water? I know the sig rust meme doesn't really apply to the all steel slides and exeters but I'm always hesitant to get water on it because carbon steel does have iron in it.
>>29995534
surface rust isnt a big deal
its only a problem if left unchecked for long periods of time
the rust in that pic will wipe right off
>>29995534
>Carbon steel does have iron in it
>What kind of dumb would you like?
just fuck my shit up pham
That pride ! For the 8th Time , #FFMM Colombia is champion team tournament # FuerzasComando2016 Peru , the best of America
This is hands DOWN the best striker fired weapon to have come out in the market.
This is LITERALLY what 30+ years of striker fired technology has been developed SOLEY for.
The Heckner and Koch VP-9. While I applaud Glock for innovating the striker fired design and popularizing it, I have to give hats off to H&K for improving it even further and making it better than anything else out on the market today.
When people make threads asking about futuristic guns, you're looking at it right here folks. This gun is 100% hands down without a shallow of a doubt the ultimate handgun.
>>29995455
And yet, they can't design a mag release that doesn't grind your trigger finger each time you fire the gun. KEK
>>29995472
European thumb releases aren't for people with fat pudgy fingers, sorry h8er...
>>29995478
Wrong, friendo. I have skinny fingers. Mag release sticks out and rubs your finger every time. No thanks.
Also, watch the MAC video where dropping one in a puddle basically renders it useless, whereas other guns run just fine.
Is this how you hold a gun?
>>29995381
Only if you want it to fly out of your hands.
He seems kinda big, im pretty sure he could manage recoil without it flying it out his hands...
So I'm about to buy my first firearm, would the Mosin Nagant be the best option?
>Dirt cheap
>Cheap 7.62x54r ammunition
>Can hit a target the size of my hand from 125 yards away with no scope
>Reliable and sturdy
>Easy to fix jams
>Fucking sexy
What downside (if any) is there to buying a Mosin Nagant as my first firearm?
>>29995186
>7.62x54r
>cheap
lol
>>29995186
>>Dirt cheap
>>Cheap 7.62x54r ammunition
hope youve got a time machine
its still cheapish but not really
buy it cause you like the gun design not based on price
>>29995186
Not really cheap anymore for what you get. It's a $200 rifle that you'll be hard pressed to find for less than $250. You'd be better off saving for one of the better WWII bolts.
hi /k/ommarads,
i looking for a good holographic sight, red dot...
you guys have any good recommendations... also if it can less than the EoTech 512's price that would be great.
MUST BE WATER PROOF.
Primary arms advanced micro
surprisingly durable for a $160 red dot, same goes with the vortex sparc 2
>>29994997
>vortex sparc 2
any holographic sights
>>29995165
>any holographic sights
nope, eotech or bust
I want a long stroke piston bullpup in 7.62x51
what are my options?
>>29994908
bump
Love a long stroke
>>29994908
Did he actually say that? And do people actually think that's not retarded?
I don't want it, but I think this is a good price. Does /k/ think I could flip this gun and make a quick hundred?
HK p30s V3 in .40SW, brand new, $600 shipped + 20 dollars for transfer fee from FFL. $620 Total. I normally see these for at least $800.
>.40
pfft
>>29994955
>>.40
Precisely why I don't want it.
If it was 9mm I'd buy and keep. It's .40 so I want to buy it to sell it.
>>29995018
If you really want an hk in .40, get a usp. There's a reason why nobody likes .40 but the usp along with very few other guns are decent in it.

LMAO
Part /k/, part /tg/ question here. How would firearm design realistically change in a setting with many humanoid species of varying heights/builds (between 3-8ft tall, average 4-5ft range)? Would pistol carbines and SMGs/PDWs be an effective way to arm smaller species? What would you be able to arm a significantly individual with that would stand a chance against an armored, significantly larger one?
Ergonomics are more about appendages than height. I think Halo did a very good job of making weapons that fit the covenant races (they were usually race-specific, ie jackals to covie sniper/carbine, grunts to plasma pistol, etc) but could still be wielded by something else like, say, a human, in a pinch. I'd say, start with halo designs. I like /tg/
"killing power" is very exagerated, what will do for a 4' imp will do for a 9' orc or something. Pic related still is the perfectest option for anything bipedal. change lenght of pull and grip/trigger size/shape for ayy's hand.
>>29994759
>AR
>not GAU-8
What would you arm a barbershop quartet with?
>>29994546
.38 revolvers, .25 Saturday specials and high power. Maybe a cut down side by side.
>>29994546
Straight razors, bro.
.38 Super M1911s, straight razors, and M2 Carbines
Hey any Colorado fags here know a store that sells 30rd magazine "kits".
My local store doesn't have any 30rd mags period and I've been to two other stores but they only had the ones with the plug in them.
>>29994473
fuck off retard
>>29994473
nobody's done the rebuild kit thing in CO and gotten a case through the courts yet. Most folks just go to the nearest neighboring state and get 'em there. Wyoming should be good; 4th of July is coming up, so just grab mags on your firework run.
>>29994473
Hello ATF, how many dogs have you shot today?
Looking to buy a knife as a wedding present for my future brother in law. $150 limit.
Any suggestions?
Dragon dildo.
>eight inches of high carbon
>stain resistant
>serrated edges
>german engineering
>only $44.99
>fucking born to bread
Your future brother in law.will like it so much eh'll want to marry you instead.
spydero paramilitary 2 or benchmade osborne 940/941. Don't do serrated or partially serrated.
Alternatively, this: >>29994448
>raptor sniffs prey
>raptor disapproves
>prey shits self internally
>raptor taunts prey
the irony of the pilot's quote.
