What's /k/'s Opinion of Death squads?
Are they Operator?
ITT: Death Squad Thread
literally cartoon villains
By definition, they spend their time attacking unarmed civilians instead of armed combatants.
They're the military equivalent of that one kid who got held back for several grades and ends up as a 14 year old 6th grader beating up the other kids.

A rare piece of history worth at least $10,000 is destroyed. Good thing it's off the streets, it could maybe be used in a crime some day.
>>30033010
it probably was already involved in a war crime.

Well, /k/, imagine the following scenario :
You are not a skilled gunsmith, everyone else in the world vanishes overnight, and you can have one firearm as well as an infinite amount of corresponding parts for it. You must however maintain it yourself.
What is the easiest firearm to headspace, build, maintain that you would choose and why ?
>>30032943
Ruger 10/22
>>30032943
KALASH KALASH KALASH for obvious reasons.
>>30032943
Headspace maintain and/or build?
Some kind of open bolt SMG (headspace just means that you have the round feed properly, and all you have to do is oil it and clean the barrel. The trigger can be done in under five parts spring included, and it can be made with a welder and tube.)
If we really want to get picky though, a four winds shotgun is the ultimate end of the world gun for people who need to DIY their weapons.
Tankettes yes or no?
Possibly
>>30032935
Perhaps
could be
En Garde!
That's... nice
Isn't that one of those things you stick in your dick?
>>30032955

Started hunting with a Kentucky long rifle replica. Even wear wools when the humidity is low. Feels great mang.

Percussion cap. GTFO
Find a flaw /k/
>>30032209
I don't own one. That's a pretty big fucking flaw
Thin armor which had to be modified on the field, couldn't effectively penetrate german armor with it's small round, narrow tracks got stuck in mud easily
>>30032209
CMP's not selling them.
I'm thinking about picking up this P64 to use in my CC rotation. Will be about $315 when it's all said and done.
>>30032143
I notice them in grade a condition on Aim surplus for 250 with 2 mags.
>>30032143
They are not drop safe.
Nothing wrong with that if you have a good holster and never drop it, but its something to think about.
Plus that DA trigger is terrible.
Can someone explain what's the deal with damascus steel? Why do people say it's a lost technique?
>>30031990
Because they are trying to sell you something or romanticize the past.
>>30031990
It's a lost technique because:
A: They never passed on the method.
B: Wootz ore was mined out.
The ore had unique properties of composition that, when combined with the technique, resulted in the formation of carbon nanotubes in the steel that made for extremely high quality, durable blades.
Anything modern is what's actually Pattern Welding, which is a process of forging welding multiple steels into a single blank in layers, then forging, polishing, and etching to bring out the pattern.

You hear a dindu, dinduing his way into your home.
You reach for your dindu defense weapon, it's a...

Finally
Received pic related yesterday (silencerco hybrid) and I'm trying to decide how I want to mount it to one of my ARs. I already have the mount to use it on my CZ scorpion but I really want this can to function not only on that gun but an AR as well. At this point I need to either A. Buy a threaded barrel....looking for suggestions on that. Or B. Go with the ASR mount/muzzle device. What say you /k/?
Also general can thread.
>>30031352
Can you post a picture of the Skorpion? It sounds cool af
>>30031359
Seconded
Fuck the AR I want to see that scorpion
>>30031352
Jelly. Mines still in jail :(
I've decided that I should upgrade from the 5.56 and am ISO a 6,5 caliber rifle similar to the AR style. I'm pretty new and am not familiar with many brands, aside from colt and overpriced companies. Any recommendations for a $800 budget?
Also argue and shitpost about which caliber is best
>>30031318
All the full sized 6.5 cartridges (with the exception of 6.5 Swede) are pretty much marketed solely to long ranged target shooters.
6.5 Grendel is a snowflake that has little in the way of aftermarket support.
Either way you're going to want to invest in a reloading setup.
>>30031357
Already have a reloader. I have a Shit ton of land, with a homemade range extending to ~500 yards. I'd mostly use it for hunting, but I enjoy target shooting as well.
I've always gone with store brands, though, but am looking for a reliable, good bang for your buck brand that isnt in the local gun store.
>>30031318
just make a 6.5 Grendel upper for your ar15.
sat youre a famous celebrity. Actor, musician, director, whatever
Obviously youre pro gun, so how do you stay pro gun without being blacklisted by Hollywood.
What do you carry for your EDC? Remember, places like /k/ will talk about you and associate your choice in guns to you from now on
I dont have any blogs, twitter accounts, facebooks, none of that shit. I dont have any right now anyway. Maybe like 1 just to keep stuff up on movies that im doing but thats it.
I never ever discuss anything political ever. When asked I say everyone is entitled to their own opinion and im entitled to keep mine to myself
When asked about guns I say that yes I do carry for my own protection, because I dont believe my life is worth more than a paid bodyguard simply because im famous. If others want a bodyguard thats fine but im uncomfortable with it. I believe that, so long as youre law abiding, you should be able to own any gun but you need to learn your local laws and practice with it so you know what youre doing. If anyone disagrees with me then whatever, thats their choice but I was asked my opinion
I carry sig perfection
>>30031303
That does look suspiciously like a holster.
Anyway, my job would be to entertain people not be a pretentious self righteous opinionated asshole.
I'd refuse to answer any philosophical questions about political issues. I'd only answer question that are like yes no questions or questions about factual things like, "Do you own a gun?"
>yes
>>30031440
That is a holster. Shaq is all about concealed carry. Honestly I'm jealous of him because he is so big he can pretty much CC any size handgun he wants to.
