So which is the best grip? I prefer the A2.
>>30811485
A2 without the little nub is godlike
>>30811485
The nub on that grip ends up right underneath my middle finger. Fuck that fucking nub.
>>30811485
That nub is the reason why people who were issued the m4 hated it.
Let's have another book thread. I just finished Chieftains by Bob Forrest Webb and, while it was well written, I prefer Team Yankee as Webb has the tendency to go off on tangents talking about things other than the Third World War.
What are some /k/ related books y'all have read lately? If Billy Boy can update us on the World War Z let's read, that'd be great.
Any books buy this guy. I would dump my whole set but they are all by him.
Nobody?
What shotgun would /k/ recommend to a nogunz poorfag who lives on the middle of niggerville Las Vegas?
I really want a Winchester defender 1300, cause I love how the wood looks and my dad had one that I grew up with, but I'd be open to getting something more modern if there's a legitimate reason, plus the only winchesters I can find are on gunbroker for more than $300
>>30811244
save your shekels and get a mossberg 590a1. It will last you to the end of time and never fail.
>>30811244
>>30811273
But if you must have a shotgun immediately, get a Maverick 88 or an H&R Pardner Pump
Whale cum, I prefer H&R protector
How could anyone think this is a good shooting stance? Why do airshit kiddies have better tactics than 70s cops?
that is a proven combat stance that was developed in WWII. Read "Kill or be Killed" by Col. Rex Applegate. It is supposed to be the bodys natural reaction to the stress of being shot at and body mechanics. It worked good enough for Killin' Nazis.
>>30811832
This. When someone is shooting at you and bullets are whizzing by, you WILL start trying to go fetal position while standing up and contorting your body as you try to escape the bullets. That pose is meant to replicate your body all scrunched up as if it's from you wanting to get the fuck away from bullets, and as such, you won't turn into a contortionist and spazz out as hard. It's still a little outdated though.
other thread another day showed my plan for a bow mounted attachment but i saw a few problems. those are corrected in new plans which does not mount to the bow but instead creates a wall of gunbos around the archer allowing to defend a base easily. blueprint attached. post weapons plans here.
all the inventors must be out for ice cream in this nice saturday
>>30810997
>enhancement
I do not think it means what you think it means.
>>30811311
it means I a taking a normal bow and enhance it to perform other functions
Maybe this is more of a pol question but if you were given the power of a 4 star general and a president authorized you to eliminate Isis by any means necessary how would you go about it. Inb4 nukes or wmds. This is your only limitation.
>>30810819
Give the kurds a fuck ton of tanks and artillery, and let them sort it out.
Laugh while turkey gets fucked up.
>>30810819
Addendum:
Apologies if I wasn't specific with what branch. Let's just for arguments sake say you have the entire strength of the us millitary. As in you come up with a stragety and the reserve branches do your bidding. Also you can approach this by using Russian forces as well
>>30810860
You'd also give them training?
There are 3 types of gun owner. One group like to own guns just to show them off to friends and don't know how to shoot one properly to save their own life. Second group uses their guns for recreational purposes. Third group actually carry and utilize them for survival (inappropriately or not)
Which group do you belong to /k/?
Weird mix of two and three for me
>>30810791
There are three types of people. Those that don't make sweeping generalizations of people into broad categories, those that do, and those that don't care.
>>30810791
I just own guns to own them.
Nothing makes me happier then staring at my WWI surplus.
Did you guys see earlier this week this brand new "guidance" that came out of the State Department? It concerns ITAR!
And according to the State department, anyone who engages in replacement of parts on a firearm that "improves accuracy" is a manufacturer per ITAR, and must pay ~$2000/yr to the State Department.
Have YOU put a free float handguard on your AR recently? Ever did a new bedding job on your Fudd rifle? Tapped a weapon for a scope mount! Congratulations! You're subject to ITAR and must pay Uncle Sam cash!
See: http://pmddtc.state.gov/compliance/Applicability%20of%20the%20ITAR%20Registration%20Requirement%20to%20Firearms%20Manufacturers%20(Publish).pdf
"Applicability of the ITAR Registration Requirement to Firearms Manufacturers and Gunsmiths
"
>Firearms Manufacturers and Gunsmiths
"ITAR registration is required of persons who engage in the business of manufacturing defense
articles. Persons who do not actually manufacture ITAR-controlled firearms (including by
engaging in the activities described below, which DDTC has found in specific cases to constitute
manufacturing) need not register with DDTC – even if they have an FFL from ATF"
>>30810788
first of all, learn how to read and READ THE ENTIRE THING.
this applies to commercial gunsmiths.
it doesnt apply to home hobbyists doing it for themselves.
However it IS intended to make being a gunsmith harder, a whack at the gun culture intended to hurt mom and pop shops and drive them out of business.
>>30810831
precisely. and as a gunsmith shop part time employee, i can tell you, its going to whack more than just mom and pop shops
Reminder that shotguns are obsolete.
>>30810645
It's really hard to hit a flying grouse with a 22 tho....
>>30810645
Unless you like bird hunting, trap, skeet, or live in a WMU that doesn't allow rifle hunting for deer. Then, sure, they're about as obsolete as forks and spoons.

Underrated musician, met his Widow and son not to long back.
I've been shooting my pistols with a weaver stance, but I was taking a concealed carry class and the instructor (former LEO) said nobody ever shoots Weaver in a self-defense scenario and I should train to shoot isosceles.
What do you think, /k/? What pistol stance is preferred in a self-defense scenario?
>>30810634
You use what works for you.
>>30810634
I think it's all preference, the only time I ever use isosceles is at the indoor range. Otherwise weaver is naturally what I shoot best and feel most comfy in.
>>30810634
What >>30810674 said. The best Weaver guys are better than the worst isosceles guys but the best isosceles guys are way better than the best weaver guys.
/k/ approved games
Before someone posts it, RO2 is shit and you're shit for liking it.

It is a little unfair to make use of ignorance like that picture. We are all obviously aware of the differences between .223/5.56 and .22 Long Rifle. C'mon now.
Is there something wrong with the Sig MCX? All of the reviews seems to be good and it's pretty modular. Is there something bad about it I don't know?
>>30809770
It's not bad at all, if you like it they are good rifles
You can build a great ar for the price though, that's the major turnoff for me
>>30809770
Most of /k/ isn't going to be able to give you the answer you seek anon, we're all noguns here
Not unless you consider killing faggots a bad thing.
