Post guns you own and love or would love to own.

I live in NY, so I guess guns I want a gun in general?
>>30806326
inb4 pictures of anons cumming on their firearms
>>30806326
I got my first mosin 2 days ago the bolt is bent and the only unoriginal part beside the finish
Hope you didn't spend more than $100 on it. Bubba done fucked that gun.
>>30806272
got bubba'd by bubinsky
>>30806281
What should I do about it I did pay over a hundred even my friend who also owns one said I paid to much so I'm probably not going to buy from my local gun store any more although they have an sks I want just to have and shoot
Hey /k/, american here, I really want to get into recreational shooting not only for the flat out fun of it, but because I want to make some like minded friends who have cool skills. I don't have a gf, work is fucking lonely, and I don't want to spend my free time sitting in sports bars.
How much luck has /k/ had finding friends at ranges/gun clubs?
>>30805996
Honestly, not much luck. I mean, I stopped going to ranges because it kind of sucks, but when I went, people mainly keep to themselves. You might talk about what you are shooting or even shoot a gun of theirs, but there is a zero percent chance that you guys will be there at the same times often enough to develop a friendship. I have 25 guns and no gun pal. :( I don't even shoot anymore, not until I get some property.
>>30806066
That sucks.
>>30805996
>go to a noisy place full of loner high functioning autists to make friends
What does /k/ think of super heavy tanks?
>>30805980
They are alright.
>>30806001
They look cool but they aren't that practical as you'd need to give them super thick armor or some sort of shield to prevent air from destroying their shit.
>>30805980
was there only 2 t95s ever produced?
Is the mauser 98 a solid 1st rifle? Is a .22 riffle a better option? Im a fan of surplus rifles so anything with cheap ammo, reliability and some fun factor i am Happy with but im open to any sugestion. ( unfortunately i do live in Maryland so keep that in mind)
>>30805944
Bump
>>30805944
They're only getting rarer, a 10/22 isnt going anywhere and they're great rifles for any occasion.
>>30805944
Any German mauser is going to have a naziboo tax making it several hundred dollars more than it would ever actually be worth.
If a semi-automatic is defined as a gun that fires 1 shot per pull of the trigger, would it be legal to make a trigger that you pull several times (without firing any shots), and on the 4th pull, all 4 shots are fired in a single rapid burst? Wouldn't it technically be a semi-automatic, because there are 4 pulls of the trigger resulting in 4 shots (i.e. 1 per trigger pull)? Checkmate, ATF?

They'd just make up some word-soup redefinition that makes your trigger illegal and then shoot your dog.
>>30805531
I'd rather buy an NFA lower and deal with the stamp than this magical clockwork monstrosity you speak of.
NFA lower:
Legal, reliable, simplistic
1 shot per pull, up to 4, fires on 4th pull:
Questionably legal (if at all), unreliable since extremely complex.
Have any of y'all ever been shot? If so, what does it feel like? Also, how much blood is there? My only point of reference is film, where there is either a shit ton of blood or almost none. Pic, sorta related.

>>30805235
I got shot with a .22 if that counts. Did a clean through and through on my right thigh. Decent amount of blood, and it felt like someone had stabbed me with a red hot poker. Very unpleasant.
>>30805354
>>30805235
It also left a massive amount of pooling, which made a giant purple brown bruise all along the path of the bullet.
I just got me my first Mosin nagant.
Ive been told that the marking on the rifle can tell me a lot about it but I can seem to find a good source of info. I know she is Tula and made in 1942. Think you guys can help me?
Thanks
Another
one more I have others but these were the most interesting to me
>>30805230
This is essentially a search engine to find the make of your mosin. http://7.62x54r.net/MosinID/MosinMarks.htm
have you made sure to check the two serials on it to see if they match?
Is the Mosin actually good, or a piece of shit? I've heard both from different sources, but I need a definite answer before I consider buying one.
If the Mosin is a piece of shit, can anyone tell me what the best rifle from either WWI or WWII is?
>>30805089
It can be both depending on the quality of the specific rifle you get your hands on. Honestly, just remember, it's an old ass rifle crapped out to arm a bunch of walking dead conscripts. It's nothing special beyond the fact that it eats cheap.
>>30805114
Muh grandfather's dick.
>>30805114
>Best action
Mauser
>Best capacity
Lee-Enfield
>Best reliability
Mosin-Nagant
All three rifles were essentially equal, and had their pros and cons
Not OP from yesterday's thread but picked up one of these in 223. Need advice on what power optics to put on it. Not anticipating on very long ranges. Input greatly appreciated.
Swfa ss or a Nikon 223
>>30804973
what ranges and what are you shooting at?
3.5x
So, I'm thinking about getting a cornershot. Yes, it's a retard overpriced jew toy, but it's just interesting and would be fun to handle. Plus, you never see them.
Please talke me out of it, anons. Name something more INTERESTING for the money ($2600). Usefulness is fine, but I'm looking for interesting mainly. Don't say Mateba, I have one already.

Pic related, is assault cat

A nice generator.
Where the fuck do you plan on getting one from? A lot of money for a SBR'd Glock
>>30804892
a boat, or a motorcycle
Got my permit in the mail today. 21 day turnaround.
1 - You'd think they'd at least spring for a laminating machine.
2 - Going to be real fun CCWing my SP-01. 3 o'clock with a major cant works best but I still print a little if I move certain ways. Not bad considering it's a SP-01, but not good. Can't wait to get a better gun for CCW with a better holster.
I'd love to hear some drills you guys run. The first time I shot from a holster was a week or two ago so I'd really like to get better at that. Just moved to VA from MD so no need to ever have a holster up there.
If you can't get much practice drawing from your holster and firing, practice acquiring vision on your front sight as you draw and practice dry firing as well. It really helps
>>30805139
I have a private range at my house (i.e. a field a couple miles from the nearest neighbor) so the only limiting factor for range time is how much I want to spend on ammo. Guess I just need to draw and fire until I get good at it.
>>30804846
You're a dumbass. Got the CCW? Shut the fuck up and don't tell anyone. 'C' is there for a reason.
You have no idea how easy it is to deanonymize you. Case in point: how do you know how many permits were issued today? By this clerk? With this specific twist in the signature?
Stay anon, anon.
Hey /k/. I'm new to this board, and came here primarily for one purpose: I'm going to be casting knifes and shortswords at home from aluminum bronze, but I have one current problem: What ratio of aluminum to bronze (by weight) would be the best for a strong and durable weapon?
>>30804705
https://www.britannica.com/technology/aluminum-bronze
I hope you know what you are doing, have you cast metals before?
It says 4-15 percent aluminum, so start there, maybe try different mixes
but if you dont know what you're doing then please just stop, this isn't really the place to be asking that
like do you have any of the needed materials and tools? and the skills and knowledge? If so why are you asking this here...
>>30804705
Why are you casting bronze?
If you have the temperatures to melt aluminum, you have the temperature to forge most steels
Reforging files or old tools is a great way to make a more practical, stronger knife
>>30804800
1. Yes, I have the materials and experience casting both aluminum and copper, as well as casting iron.
2. I am asking here because it has to do with the creation and utilization of weaponry, and I assume that /k/ would have best knowledge of weapons.
Post your tyrant killers or varmint disintegrators.
>>30804689
Isn't this the one where you took some long time to complete and weighs a fuck ton now?
>>30804739
it only weighs 9 lbs its light to me can hold it with one hand for 30 minutes no problem. do you have a 5.56 to post?
Holy fuck /K/ there is a chimpout happening in my street! What do I do K!
>>30804353
Engage Roof Korean mode and hold them off with guns.
Lock doors and windows, put 40 of OE out in front of your door as an offering.
>>30804353
close blinds, turn off lights, get ready for a break and enter. When they start banging down your door, call the police. You dont want to look like you are a sociopath
