>standard mags are 30rd
>ammo comes in 20rd boxes
Why?
To make you buy more ammo. Like you even needed a reason anyways.
It's the classic hotdog/bun trick
>>30802936
So you buy more boxs. why are there more hotdogs in a package than hotdogs buns?
>>30802960
Cost per round would be the same
Daily reminder that AK a shit
>>30802891
its slr107fr not ak
>>30802924
>no true scotsman
Try again
>>30802933
he's right tough.
An AK clone that is designed to be 'sporting' with match grade parts is not a reliable weapon, its full of low tolerance parts to make it perform better but end up reducing reliability in poor conditions.
Whats the best non firearm home defense weapon, and which iten that's still a weapon would be the funniest for home defense?

you know /k/ general opinion on open carry. stop making this thread.
>>30802758
We think it's stupid to open carry, but we'll fight to defend the right to do so.
>>30802758
whoa where do i get a sling that goes around my head like that?
First time posting here. I bought some 9mm rounds from bulkammo for the first time, and the most reviewed, highest reviewed, cheapest ammo was some tula ammo. It's steel instead of brass, and it's the first time I have encountered that.
What is your experience with steel casings over brass? Anything I should know about? Thanks.
>>30802621
Use Russian ammo in Russian guns, but nothing else
I've never had a problem just clean your gun after use and you should be good to go
>>30802621
Steel case will generally dirty your pistol quicker, and also Tulammo 9mm is loaded pretty light. It also flashes like a motherfucker. Its an ok plinking round. I probably wouldn't shoot it through my Hi Power or P-38, but I have no problem putting it through my CZ75, Glock 17 or USP.
>Acquire new rifle lower from gunstore
>Build rifle again
>Be told I don't have to transfer the firearm from my mom back to me because she's family by gunstore
>matters because gay gun control law recently passed
>Call the police department to double check
>They say it needs to be transferred
>Go to a different gunshop for the transfer
>Say we would like to run a transfer
>The lady behind the desk looks at us a little funny and asks if we're related, and I was like yeah she's my mom.
>She's all like "You don't need to transfer to own if it's direct family"
I'm all like
>"I even called the police department and they said I need to transfer"
She's like
>"Nope"
For fucks sake police department

If you want to be 100%-beyond-a-shadow-of-a-doubt sure (or at least get evidence to cover your ass) write a letter/make an inquiry to the ATF.
>inb4 ATF knows nothing
Yeah but if they send you a letter with a wrong answer you can at least keep that and use it if you ever end up in legal trouble for anything.
>>30802532
I would help you, but I don't help furry faggots. Go kill yourself with some pills.
kill yourself.
were whips of whip like weapons ever used in warfare?
>>30802475
>whips of whip
So...like...a whip with another whip at the end, or a whip made out of Cool Whip?
Because the Cool Whip whip wouldn't be very effective.
>>30802541
Man Cool Whip is good.
>>30802475
I doubt it, I'm figuring someone wearing leather sleeves could disarm the wielder pretty easily, and if you are wearing even light armor it's probably not much of a weapon. Against bare skin it's brutal, but for combat I'd rather have something that is more controllable and doubles as a defensive item. Not an expert, so I could be wrong, but my logic tells me no.
So now that the dust has settled, how is it? Have the problems been fixed?
It's still a piece of shit.
It's still front heavy. It still has a 1 in 9 twist rate. It still has no real conversion kits. It still isn't all that accurate.
The fact bushmaster isn't spending much money on it should indicate to you their position on its longevity.
>>30802429
>how is it?
Mediocre.
>Have the problems been fixed?
The gun itself is the problem, so no.

Can someone explain what the difference between the Marines and the US Army is? Mostly in terms of experience and duties
>>30802327
Marines are basically an entire branch of operators. They are the most elite warriors the world has ever known. They are responsible for upholding freedom and American values.
They are the few
The proud
The marines
The army is just cannon fodder who go in after marines win wars
Marines take ground and fight. The Army runs away from Germans and Chunks.
>>30802357
Does that assume that joining the Marines is more dangerous than the army?
STUTTGART, Germany — Special agents from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command are investigating the theft of guns and other military equipment from a base arms room in Stuttgart, military officials said.
“Several semi-automatic pistols, one small-caliber automatic rifle and a shotgun were among the items taken,” said Chris Grey, a CID spokesman.
The Army did not identify all the items stolen or the unit targeted, citing the active investigation. A possible breach of the base fence is also part of the ongoing probe.

what is a small-caliber automatic rifle?
Like a .22 caliber training mp5 or like an AR?
>>30801995
M4A1 probably.
We often have threads about what guns you want to buy, but how about guns you're happy to have gotten rid of?
Guns I'm happy to have gotten rid of:
WASR - ended up getting a vepr and then an slr107 so had no need for the wasr
CZP01 - got bored with it and never shot it
CZ75 - steaming pile of shit
Ruger GP100 Match Champion - shot it only once
Glock 19 - bigger pile of steaming shit constant FTE and FTF
Obvious bait. OP is a fucking troll.
G19 with constant failures - don't believe you.
CZ 75 steaming pile of shit - wow, it's only one of the finest handguns made
P-01 - how can you get bored of something if you haven't shot it?
You OP, are the steaming pile of shit.
>>30801902
Sig Mosquito. Accurate as all hell, but getting through a full mag without a failure was a miracle.
Ruger LCP. Miserable, snappy little prick with shit sights. Got a Sig P238 for pocket carry, MUCH happier.
I was happy to get rid of OP's mother because she was a fucking whore and her cunt was so big and sloppy it was like fucking a bucket of water.
How do you fire something at 1800 RPM? Wouldn't you run out of bullets in like 5 minutes?
Your barrel would melt before then.
1800 rpm is just a little above idle. If you really want to rev up those guns then go to 6000rpm, but your mileage will suffer a bit.
plebberonis
>>30801861
>How do you fire something at 1800 RPM?
Very carefully, and in short, controlled bursts.
I'm about to take a long ass flight from coast to coast, with two fucking layovers. I noticed that they let military members board first. Has anyone ever worn a paintballing or hunting outfit to the airport to get in on this?
You are a faggot.
You'd need I.D.
Don't be a fucking cunt, wait like everyone else.
>May I see your military ID, sir?
