I've been looking at this handgun for quite some time now and was thinking about purchasing it. I figured that a 1911+10mm+double stack magazine=glorious? Can it be true?

Ok so I got my 22 rifle dead on sighted in at 25 yards and at 50 yards it hits 1 and a half inches high can someone explain why this is I thought it would hit lower at 50 yards not high. My rifle is a Savage MK II FV-SR with a nikon prostaff rimfire 4-12 with a boyds pro varmint stock.
TLDR my 22 scope is zeroed for 25 yards and hits high at 50 yards why is this

Neither. Its too expensive for what you get as an assault rifle, and the age of battle rifles as service rifles is long over. It was never intended as a service rifle anyway, the clue is on the name.
What is the best home defense in the event of a riot?
Easy mode: anything
Medium mode: anything realistic
