Any hunters here use Mil Surp camo? I hunt all over the state of Colorado, and I won't lie, I've used my issued Multicams (sterile, of course) for bowhunting elk, and they worked great! They're comfy, durable, have pockets for days, and they were mine.
So I have tags for 3 pronghorn this year out east where it's more brown, anyone have experience with tan camo? I could go with DCU, but it might be too light brown and I don't like to LARP in U.S. camo, was actually thinking the German desert camo looks a lot like the Sitka stuff that's like $300 for a shirt.
Thoughts?
Last year I used plain brown carhart pants and coat, and it worked, but they weren't cheap and I got them soaked in blood. Thinking some cheap german mil surp might be worth a try...

Why is using hollow points in war considered "unnecessary suffering"?

Please enlighten me as to why we still don't use them and any examples of our military ammo and how it compares to modern civilian JHP would be cool, thanks.

I think I hit the fucking motherlode, guys.
I just moved back to a "purple" state in a relatively big city to use my GI Bill. The only people that shoot here arw fudds. I found a guy running a gun shop out of a fucking closet in his radiator shop.
I bought a box of pic related for $8. That's 40cpr for Chilean surplus 7.62 NATO. He has cases of it. He also has US surplus .30-06 dated 1943 that he wants to sell me for 10cpr because it's corrosive. TEN CENTS PER FUCKING ROUND.
He also has some weird hollow-point .30-06 that almost looks crimped or filed at the tip somehow, supposedly some old attempt at match ammo from back in the day.

I'm so happy I could cry, but I decided to make a thread instead.

We need to address the bulldog meme. If you got enough money to throw down you can get a glock 19 for the price of this thing. Everyone says if you put +p in this you'll break it. Ammo that will break this fucking thing is designed to have a cartridge too long to fit in the cylinder. Where is this meme coming from?

If you buy off the shelf ammo boxes you can't find anything that is +p that people will say will break it.

Anyone here shoot clays? I'm looking to get a new shotgun because right now I'm using an old 20 gauge pump action. It gets the job done but I'm thinking I might get a mossberg Sterling II. Any other suggestions?
